It's a little hard to explain what I've got so far without rambling for days.. but lemme try to summarize-

The story takes place in an old timey western setting where everyone is some kind of animal like creature. At some point a human child is born with bright red eyes that has the ability to see this hidden ribbon that stretches across the land. There is said to be some kind of great treasure at the end..

Snakes is the best bounty hunter in the west and was sent to capture this child and bring her to this dude. But when Snakes found her he decides to keep her and take that treasure for himself.

The story continues after that but I haven't thought much of it through <XD

This was a scene that Byleth could go on without repeating over and over again, but alas, the flow of time is a fickle thing, and the loss is necessary. Countless times, they had tried other ways to snap Dimitri back into reality, only to fail in the end. This was the only way to succeed.

The rain was warm, unusual for this area, but it made it seem like the heavens were weeping for the loss of such a great man and knight. Perhaps they were. Byleth certainly had the first few times they lived through it. But now their grief has been replaced by a determination to end this cycle. To have this be the last time they watch as Rodrigue sacrifices himself in order to save Dimitri. Let this be the final version of this particular encounter.

The sky grew darker as Byleth waited, the rain soaking them to the bone. They would continue to wait as long as needed… He would come. And soon, just as many times before, the soon-to-be king rounded the corner, and they stepped out of the shadows into his path.

“What do you want?”

His voice was harsh, almost intentionally so, as if Byleth’s mere presence was an annoyance. The first times they heard it, they flinched and held their tongue to placate the prince. The times after they had responded with anger or indifference. They all worked out in the end, but none were right. But now…

“I know where you’re going. You don't have to do this, Dimitri.” Their voice remained calm, even as anger flashed across his face.

“This isn’t your concern!” Dimitri spat out. “Get out of my way. Now.”

Byleth simply glared as he menacingly stepped closer. If one thing remained true, it was that Dimitri would never harm them. He could act like it was all he wanted, but they knew the truth.

“Going to Enbarr will not fix anything! Do you really think it will appease the dead? Or will it simply add Edelgard’s corpse to those that haunt you?"

“Do not speak of that vile woman as if she is a friend! It is their voices that demand her head! Only then will they finally get to rest peacefully. Don’t speak of matters you could never understand."

Dimitri took a moment, seemingly to compose himself. His anger had faded slightly, making way for something else. Something different. Grief? Was he perhaps finally letting himself grieve for his losses after all these years? Or was it simply resignation?

“Death…” He continued, his voice becoming thick with emotion. “Death is the end. No matter how much lingering regret a person has, after death, they are powerless. They cannot even wish for revenge, much less seek it out. Hatred. Regret. Those burdens fall on the shoulders of those who are left behind. They fall to me. I must continue down this path! And it is far too late to stop... You know this much already."

Byleth’s gaze softened as they watched his anger bleed into resignation and acceptance of his self-imposed fate.

“But you don’t have to do it alone. You’ve got me and so many others! You don’t have to throw your life away in the pursuit of revenge! Surely there is-“

“There is no other way! That is merely the logic of the living. It's meaningless. Those who died with lingering regret... They will not loose their hold on me so easily.

“But you seem to have all the answers... So tell me, professor. Please, tell me... How do I silence their desperate pleas? How do I... How do I save them? Ever since that day nine years ago... I have lived only to avenge the fallen. It is the only thing that keeps me alive... My only reason to keep moving forward...”

Byleth let out a soft huff of laughter, mainly out of nervousness. “I haven’t been your professor in a long time, Mitya... I was hardly qualified to be that in the first place, but even I know to not deny the Archbishop. But you’ve suffered enough. You must forgive yourself; move towards accepting the past and embracing the future.”

“But then who…or what…should should I live for?”

“Live for what you believe in. Live for yourself, and if you can’t do that, then make me the reason to keep on living.”

“What I believe in..." Dimitri shook his head slightly and turned his face up towards the sky. “Rodrigue said the same thing. But is it possible? I am a murderous monster. My hands are stained red. Could one such as I truly hope for such a life? As the sole survivor of that day, do I... Do I have the right to live for myself?”

Byleth placed a gentle hand on Dimitri’s cheek and turned his face back towards them. “No one’s hands are ever truly clean in this world. Asking that would be the same as asking me if I deserved the life I live. Each day you continue to live serves as proof that you deserve to live and live for yourself. And if you ever forget that, you will always have me to remind you.”

“I’ve got you…” Dimitri whispered as the professor pulled him into a gentle embrace. As he returned it, Byleth began to softly hum an ancient and gentle song. “You’re… You’re so warm… Have you always been?”

Why did you pick up writing? i was always an huge fan of reading and still am, and it came to me very naturally to the point where I had some notebook that I used to write scripts of roleplays between my OCs... it only escalated when I found out that people roleplayed with eachother. BOOM. opened an entire world to little mini me who was basically the weird kid with no friends. 

Do you have any writing routines? i settle down after lunch and dinner to start replying to stuff! i'll reblog a meme i really want my partners to send to me a couple of times to make sure that they see it (timezones SUCK), wait a bit to see who sends and then i'll get down to those first, and drafts come after i've done all memes if i still have energy c:

What's your favorite part about writing? THE CLAY-MOLDING YOU CAN DO TO A MUSE and the studying you do about them by researching stuff for their story, putting them in situations, letting yourself think about how they may react to love, affection, a possible betrayal... and its all on the tips of your fingers to write. i LOVE studying things!!!!!! i rotate them in my mind like a funky gyroscope!

.Three things you like about your writing:

i. while I don't particulary like angst, once I get in a mood or my muse is put into a particular situation, I'm gonna make it heart wrenching. i'm gonna make whoever is reading this break down on the floor crying. and i'm also gonna cry myself. i love that little stomach pain when you synchronize so much with your muse's pain that you're able to feel it. because others will be hit with a mallet with that too c: heheheheohee

ii. how my muse quite literally never goes away, and the patience that i have developed when dealing with my partners. we could literally not interact for months, and then when you come to me with ideas we're just going to pick up where we left, like, i'll open a box and take everything out. i was told often that this allows people to stress a little less about getting back to me fast so i'm happy about that! no stress while writing with me. i'm never out of muse anyway!

iii. the amount of EFFORT that i put into characterizing a muse......... a lot of research and plotting and thinking goes into that and i never run out of headcanons, as silly as those may be. i personalize them like a teenager would do with their cellphone by applying stickers to it and the stickers reflect their personality.

i'm gonna have to go with dialogue, yeah,,,,,, i can be very wordy when describing paras and paras around a situation. then i get to the dialogue and there's a few lines of stuff that look kind of out of place to me. FORTUNATELY im working on it-

TECHNICALLY....... yes. i enjoy muses with deep inner turmoils that look a little mysterious, that have a lot of internal difficult decisions to make, that are a little complex and once somebody tries to figure them outand they get it completely wrong. part of why i'm currently so unashamedly hyperfocused on H:SR Kaeya is that i made him into a very complex concept and i rotate him in my mind like a sausage.

4. In developing their backstory, what elements of the world they live in played the most influential parts? 

I wanted to explore the "only three mages in an elven clan" line. Yes we have Merrill, but I'm more OC driven than prone to explore canon characters if not in relation. The fact that as a First, per background, she was trained to lead, in combination with the above, it was a "She may have wishes of her own, but they all come after". Also, the fact that in Inquisition you can ride horses. She became a horse girl because of that, I like the horses. I'm not a horse girl I swear I'm too broke for it. Also, after playing a Mahariel who strikes me as a more harsh character, I wanted to see how a highly emotional character would fit.

12. What have you found to be most difficult about creating art for your OC (any form of art: writing, drawing, edits, etc.)? 

About her? Frankly her Vallaslin. I did a chart for it, I'm always confused about it myself. :"D Also, it's a little tricky, with a round face and full cheeks, to not make her look like younger than she is. As for writing: finding her a nickname. I'm still not fully convinced with "lucky", and I think the most fitting is "pikachu" (which I kept for the modern AU). Alas, no pokèmon in canon Thedas, tho. :(

19. What is your favorite fact about your OC?

As above: that she's emotional. I'm more on the reserved side, so having a character that just... Cries when she wants to? HOW. Also, the contradictions. I do like contradictions in characters, she just has the most of them. Cinnamon roll that can and will electrocute you.

[ funny game for OCs! What’s the meaning of your characters’ name, or why did you give them that name? 

Buddy’s name doesn’t have a proper origins, I liked to give her a name that would make it obvious that she’s friend shaped :)

Dante ( Latin origins ) means “Steadfast”; I mostly wanted a very italian name :°)

Debito means “Debt” in italian, and given he thinks the whole world owes him an apology cas and I figured that fit very well; ironically, his real name, Tobias ( Hebrew origins ), means “God is good”

Evergreen’s first name is Leonardo ( German origins ), and while it means “lion hearted” I took it because of DaVinci. Again, going for the real italian name, and a smart one at that for the local professor; Evergreen, his last name, simply follows the “the professor is called after a tree” trope

Nami ( Japanese origins ) means “Waves”; it can also mean “Beautiful” and “Red Apple”, and while I took it because of the wave connections (yknow. with Aquas) i like that it also means red apple, since all her Pokèmon are named after food

PJ’s full name is Percival ( Celtic origins ), who was one of Arthur’s knights

Riku ( Japanese origins ) means “Land”; I mostly took this name from Kingdom Hearts. Specifically from KH1 Riku, who happens to be a dick

Savi’s name doesn’t really have a meaning since it’s a mix of “Avian” (since he uses Flying-Types) and the Savoia family name (Italy’s last royal family)

Sadie ( Hebrew origins ) means “Princess”

Sirio is the name of one of the brightest stars in the Canis Major constellation... and with him being a STAR, it fits ;)

Soraya ( Arabic origins ) means “Star Cluster”

You can still request a specific face in asks, but since asks are a dying breed these days, I’ll be running a series of polls where you can pick a face and I’ll find a character to draw it with. (Could be a blorbo, could be an OC, I’ll choose it based on how I’m feeling, just give me an excuse to draw. ^-^)

Hey, so my Pokèmon GO OC's?

Here's a weird fact dump.

Yarrow Cael, the Nexus vice, is officially banned from any PWL sanctioned Gym circuit after an incident in Sinnoh that was the result of a screaming match between him and a newly crowned Champion Cynthia Shirone, and ended with him interrupting an investigation headed by Interpol.

(He almost might have broken Cynthia's nose when she demanded he stop fucking up his life, and then segwayed into an accidental insult pertaining to his grief when she also offered him a position as Gym Leader.

Look, it was a fucking event for everyone involved. He and Cynthia still aren't on speaking terms, but he also felt it necessary to send a genuine retirement gift to her after Tanigawa Hikari, the Sinnoh Heroine here, took over her mantle.)

Yanagi Sakuya, the vice of Instinct, might as well have been raised by his older brother and his friends, and considers it a rather touchy subject due to the fact that Sorahiko and Seimei, in this universe at least, had a pretty big falling out once he graduated the Ranger Academy.

Considering he refers to it as the more emotionally impactful divorce of his lifetime, well... It's a thing.

[He's more than aware he's got problems, but he also knows that if he has to talk about this particular aspect of his life to a therapist, he's going to expand to his current situation and he's under so many ND's concerning the GO Project leaders as a whole it's almost ridiculous.]

Gabrielle Morgendy, the vice of Mystic, wasn't an officially recognized trainer until she joins up with the GO Project, and was very much wrapped up with her own set of adventures before than, she has, however, met Aaron Brodeur a few times beforehand on the basis of being one of Professor Juniper's guinea pig when it came to trying out her newer PokèDex models.

She lives with two Kanto based trainers by the name of Yamamoto Kazuto and Sakaguchi Akiko. The former of which is something of a hermit, if a talented battler, and the latter has, on multiple occasions, and even succeeded once, in throwing herself out a window to get out the spotlight, considering the girl is a cordinator, it's... Strange.

[The reason Blanche chose her was her level of competency, inability to deal with their bullshit, and the fact that she refused to sell out Kazuto when pressured.

Asher Hassenfeld, Candela's second in command, spent the three hours before Team Valor's first official T.V. Broadcast emptying her lunch into a urinal due to a minor mistake in her lunch order. The woman was not happy.

She also found an entirely new reason to hate anything and everything to do with milk.

[She's also the oldest of the SIC's despite looking younger than most of them at twenty-six, by that, Sakuya's the youngest at twenty-one.

Her entire team is based off of the Nasuverse Holy Grail war classes, and are named as such. Her partner, an Arcanine, is named Rider. Her Falinks are right terrors.]

Blanche Laverre has two younger sisters named Jacqueline and Sybil, the former of whom, due to a major miscommunication, thought they were dead for the better half of two years while they recovered from the incident in Shamouti and finished their degree.

Blanche is unable to live this down in her eyes, and she refuses to ever deal with it ever again. By that, Jacqueline is a Ranger stationed in Ferrum, and Sybil is a Shift Manager at a Kalosian restaurant in Lumiose.

[Blanche swears up and down it wasn't there fault, and really wants that headstone Jacqueline has erected in her apartment to burn.

Jacqueline, despite her uneasiness with the incident, thinks the above tidbit is hilarious and refuses to let them anywhere near it.]

Spark Audra dropped out of the Ranger Academy two days before the official graduation, however, due to the technalities, and sufficient filing, he's legally a licensed Ranger until he turns twenty-five. This frustrates quite a few people.

[Namely his uncle, but he's been persona non grata to the Audra's since his brother, Spark's father, Levin, died.

His mother is only slightly exasperated, and his mother's ward is just confused.]

Expanding beyond this, Spark grew up with a single mother, and later his mother's ward, Annalise, in Orre. That's gonna be brought up soon.

Moving forward...

Aaron Brodeur, the leader of Team Nexus that I mentioned, has absolutely horrible luck with first impressions. Like complete shit. F-Rank only when it comes to meeting people for the first time. It's actually kind of hilarious, because the only time this has ever worked in her favor is when a terrified six year old Aaron met a pissed off eight year old Blanche and quietly asked if she could braid their hair.

The second time they met, however, involved a jittery Aaron passing out after having gone nearly two days without eating, and proceeding to freak out when confronted with this after Blanche went searching for her concerning a partner project.

By comparison, Candela immediately assumed she was just as bad as Blanche when they met, and was incredibly brusque and rude for their introduction, and had Aaron freaking out near the end for the fact that this meant that she was probably the reason a research opportunity was being risked.

Spark thought she was just an island native and dismissed her outright for her Espeon.

So on and so forth, Yarrow thought she was a cop and was ready to get into a fistfight, Asher puked up blood on her dress and she had to carry her to a hospital, she was legitimately convinced Gabrielle was a demon, and she mistook Sakuya for an intern rather than recognizing him for the newly appointed vice leader of Team Instinct.

[Aaron and Blanche are the only leaders to know each other from their childhood, however they are not the only leaders to have travelled together during their respective Journeys, as Blanche has, and by extension refuses to ever do so again, challenged three gyms alongside Candela.]

Candela is one of the eldest of her brood, having grown up as one of the primary caregivers to an array of siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins, she knows a thing or two about caring for others, this does not, however, translate to good self-care practices. Asher was largely responsible for making sure Candela didn't kill herself via an instant ramen based diet when they were originally setting up the foundations for Team Valor, and GO Project as the whole.

[Her younger sister, Odette, is apart of the Instinct Elite.

Candela feels both proud and mildly betrayed.]

Kimisawa Gou, our resident hapless high school Mystic Intern, is the result of a teen pregnancy and has a younger sister by three years, and a younger half-brother via her mother by six, and originally took the GO Project's internship for the sake of the pun.

She regrets it so fucking mutch by year three.

[Gou is not a nice person by the end of her internship, she goes from a terrified high school student, to a tired college student, straight to a pissed off nurse of Team Instinct.]

Back when Ribbon was a Pink Ralts, her mother Kirumi Horio the Pink Gardevoir gave her a special version of the Gardevoirite, which has been past down for generations in the family

That special Gardevoirite allows the user to temporarily transform into a Mega Gardevoir regardless of what stage they're currently in

Making Ribbon become stronger without needing to wait for her time to evolve into an actual Gardevoir

Reason for her appearing in this recent artwork, is because I'll be taking part in an upcoming arcade tournament in the nearby mall close to my house 🌟

That arcade tournament will be for the game Pokemon Tretta, a Pokemon-themed arcade game that's only available in certain Asian Countries 💞

Ribbon is meant to represent the Gardevoir Tretta Card I have for that game, one where it gives the player/trainer a chance to Mega Evolve, emphasizing that she'll get a possible chance in transforming into a Mega Gardevoir in-game 🎀

I still have to think of more team members for my Pokemon Tretta Tournament Team, since you can bring 10 Pokemon Maximum, and use 3 Pokemon at a time 🎉

Like they waited there for a week to get the drop on someone and attack them. Then you come strolling along like "oh hey what's up". They stood there for ages to get the element of surprise and you just totally ruin it.

for pokèmon alone, other than a bunch of OCs i couldn't really develop as well as I hoped and I preferred to put on the shelf, on top of my head there's Plumeria, Mela, Nessa and Leon, even if for the latter I mostly ran out of juice after the furth Raihan who didn't read the rules and immediately jumped in for shipping. once again i didnt expect them to follow my very, VERY unpopular and niche hc about them, but yknow. i would've been fine if their very first attempt at interacting wasn't treating Leon as their piece of ass and nothing else :1, and a small attempt at playing Tapu Koko who was treated the same way by a humanized Bulu rper and Giratina that didn't really go anywhere ]
