Sailor Moon Eternal: Top 10 Things I’m Excited to See in the Movies!

Okay so with the movies coming out literally tomorrow, I decided to talk about some scenes/events/themes/things I’m excited to see in the movies as I am counting down the hours to the release! 

So big spoiler alert if you haven’t read the manga or want to stay pretty surprised for the movies!! You totally don’t have to read! This is just my outlet to keep sane lol so I’m sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Also warning: There might be a lot of UsaMamo moments but I am biased obviously lol) 

And disclaimer: I know that maybe not all these scenes will happen how I want them to happen but I’m still fully excited to see the adaption and experience the Manga in animation form. I can’t wait and I will be obsessing about this for weeks honestly lol  

1. The Inner Senshi Individual Moments and Power-Ups

I love that the Inners get their own of story to evolution and get a power-up. And I LOVE that they do it with their own mini-versions of their senshi forms! Look how adorable they are!! And how each of them gain inspiration from the Outers or people in their lives to achieve their power-ups. I’m really excited for Venus Power Up just because if you know, you know how awesome and climatic hers is with the build-up. 

Anyway, can’t wait to see each of their transformations and have their individual moments of power-up!! 

2. Elysion 

I love love love love love that we get backstory in this arc. We learn more insight of Earth’s history that kind of pieces together SILMIL better. Like I love the inclusion of more Mythology and new characters and it was so pretty!!! I wish we got MORE of Elysion honestly. Helios, Elysion, the history of the Golden Kingdom and Golden Crystal-ARGH so much good story potential, could do a whole spin-off on it. 

I’m excited to see and hear about this place!!

3. UsaMamo Moments

No explanation honestly. I love UsaMamo and I want to see my babies being babies and I need these moments in my life with their battle kisses and touching lol

4. The Princess Forms

More senshi moments!!! And YES SILMIL pieces of history and I love that the Outers also join in and yes they are all rulers of their own kingdoms!!! I love seeing them in their different dresses and having this power-up kind of. It’s so cool seeing them in this form after seeing Usagi in her princess form so many times. 

I need to see this happen okay.

5. SILMIL Flashbacks (and tiny Senshi and Serenity!)

MORE SILMIL!! AND THIS IS FREAKING ADORABLE LIKE QUEEN SERENITY, A LITTLE BABY SERENITY AND THE SENSHI LOOKING OVER HER!!

I need to see this cuteness. I. Need. To. 

6. Dark Moments

It sounds messed up right? But let me explain.

I am a masochist lol I love angst and this is the perfect nightmare for the senshi and Mamoru. This arc is essentially about nightmares and dreams and so I’m go big or go home kind of person and Naoko hit it out of the park with these images that do look like straight out of a nightmare. And yes, I know Crystal hasn't been doing these type of images with the melting skulls and stuff but I am still interested to see how they play out these scenes and the reactions of the senshi. I appreciate the moments that Sailor Moon goes dark as it grounds it into realistic tones and argh who doesn’t like a little angst and melting faces you know? 

7. UsaMamo Joint Power-Up

Again, no explanation. I wrote a little post about this a while back but I’m going to love when they transform together because yes, power couples are needed more. 

8. Adorable, Tiny UsaMamo Dream

Again, again, no explanation. I want to see my babies waking up, being domestic, and BABY MAMO-CHAN BEING ALL ADORABLE!!

I also love the focus on the idea of dreams and what everyone’s dream is like how Mamoru asks Usagi here. It’s such a cool theme to lace through. 

I like to imagine this is Mamoru’s dream sequence kind of? Even though it’s technically in Usagi’s head. 

9. Mamoru’s Crystal Moment

MY HOME BOY IS GETTING HIS MOMENT AND I LOVE IT. He never knew his role and then finally knows his past and his purpose and his future AND-

and I will most likely spend some time rewinding this part many times on the films. 

10. The Ending with the “Coronation”

And finally, the ending. Whenever Usagi transforms into her past or future self, it’s always a big event and I love it because it’s so magical and MAMORU DOING IT WITH HER? AND THE SENSHI IN ALL THEIR PRINCESS FORMS ALONG WITH IT AND THE CATS AS HUMANS AND ARGH I’m going to love it.

You know, I turn on notifications for most of the ARMY and BTS related Tumblr pages.

Sometimes I get so caught up in my world and trying to constantly search for solutions or stuck in sadness, but when I see say a post from you, a reblog from you, I enter my safe zone, BTS. ARMY, all of us being connected.

I smile for a bit, they and you all give me the tiniest amount of strength to look forward. A small- it's okay, you got this, we're in this together.

This is how it is for me. I have so much respect for all ARMYs who are so consistent with their work, who are always relying to interact with other armies, keeping us updated, sharing good stuff.

This respect has increased in a way after the Anthology album was released. I became am army in 2019. Idk and can't possibly imagine how armies managed to support BTS so much. Moreover to content creators creating so much. Some of then having sites and sites to make BTSs music simple for us to understand. For us to understand their purpose.

I'm so grateful to all content creators.

I read the latest part to Kanalia, I read about the little break you took, I was so happy to know you did what you did you think was right for your own self. The chapter is so beautifully written. Thank you so much.

okay, i'm back.

this is such a wonderful message and i'm really just grateful to be on the recieving end of it. in a lot of ways, you expressed the way i feel about other creators on this site, too. i got active in fic and this community when the pandemic hit, and this place and the GIFs and fics and other content from creators played a huge role in keeping me sane throughout that whole mess.

i'm not sure that i can fully explain what it means to me that people read my stories and interact with me about them. writing is something that i decided to try on a lark and it's become such a huge part of my life now. it's this thing i have that is totally self-indulgent and it makes me happy, and the fact that it makes anyone else happy too is a really huge deal for me.

i think -- especially right now -- that we need to take this seratonin when and where we can get it. it's not selfish to want and have things that are just for you and serve no purpose but to make you happy. i'm personally thankful to all of the creators who've been that for me, and really glad to be any part of that for you.

i hope you have a beautiful day. i have to do the work of three people at the office today due to sick outs, but i'm not going to stress about it because this message put me in a great place 💕
