not enough lawlu fics about their time together on the amazon lily island. not enough fics about luffy grieving and every step of the way, law is there. not enough fics about luffy exhausted and tired and law picking him up so he can sleep next to bepo. not enough fics of the hearts seeing luffy grieving and offering their own advice on getting through grief. not enough fics of luffy becoming a heart much to the dismay of law. not enough fics of luffy talking about sabo for the first time in like a decade bc now he's really lost both of them and law, who isn't really ready to talk about flevance (and he probably will never be) but recognizing that luffy needs someone who understands, talking about his sister. not enough fics of the hearts babying luffy bc they all participated in his operation and they'll be damned if he gets hurt again. not enough fics of luffy doing something stupid enough that it gets law to laugh and luffy stops in his tracks and looks down at his heart and wonders why is suddenly sped up and then he looks up and law has a small smile on his face and the sunlight highlights his tattoos and in the back the hearts are prepping to leave and luffy cant help but wonder why his heart feels happy and sad at the same time?

Honestly seeing discourse about the Bad Kids killing the Rat Grinders is very funny because... They've killed so many people. Like sure there's a discussion about in-character motives and everything, but also the BK's just kill a ton of people. Most people don't play DND and consider 'non-lethal' options. Brennan kept reiterating it at the start of the season. Murder is literally above redemption on almost everyone's list of priorities in Spyre. Aguefort literally establishes the concept of 'adventurers' as just violent wanderers that go around and kill things that they feel like need killing, this is literally what they go to school for.

The season started with them killing a bunch of fervent cultists, and the Bad Kids only started considering mercy when they started getting tired. I wouldn't have minded the Rat Grinders getting a redemption arc, and maybe they'll get revived somehow, but also the Bad Kids barely consider mercy to people they don't know, so people they HATE getting that sort of treatment already seemed off the table. Not to mention, this is instantly after the Rat Grinders tried to kill the Bad Kids and the entire student body, and are in the midst of casting a wild, out of control spell to raise a new god of wrath.

They literally killed Ragh and only decided to spare him because they went a little too far with their torture power play after they revivified him after brutally killing him. Aelwyn was too slippery to keep down consistently. Literally every character roughly their age that they're antagonistic towards that's still alive is part of the exception, not the norm.

[id: a reference sheet of Lyfrassir Edda from The Bifrost Incident. They are tall, have brown skin, long white hair, feathered wings and a tail. Their hands and the underside of their hair and wings all have a shifting rainbow pattern to them. They are wearing a purple tunic with a darker purple vest over the top, gloves, light grey pants, and heeled boots. In one drawing, they stand neutrally facing the viewer, holding a gun in one gloved hand, with the other hand ungloved, showing off the rainbow swirls on their skin. In the second drawing, they sit with their wings spread out behind them.

Finally solidified their design after YEARS. Have a Lyf :> further notes under the cut

- their hands are so heavily affected because of black box exposure, from them constantly holding and handling it

- touching things with their bare hands causes the object (or being) to warp, becoming "infected" by the Bifrost. Some examples from writing I never finished,

"they finally twist around and shove at TS. [...] it clutches at its chest, feeling flesh slowly recede to back wood."

"Lyfrassir raises their hands to block her, freezing cold rainbows already sizzling through what remains of their gloves. She shrieks as their hands meet her flesh, and color begins to march across her body, twisting morphing shattering molding oozing merging-"

(I swear I also had one of them melting a mug, or maybe a pen, but I can't find it 😔 you get the idea though)

- their gloves were specially designed to withstand these effects

- stronger emotions = stronger bifrost effects. They tend to repress a lot all the time

- they can see the "strings" of the universe, and can play them like a harp to manipulate the outcome of things/change reality. This is harder to do with their gloves on, but possible - just less precise

- their wings didn't grow in until they were around 100 years old, per my headcanons for Midgardians. The Bifrost, which keeps them from dying, made this process Fucking Suck because it kept healing them before the wings were done coming in, leaving them in a constant state of skin ripping open, healing, and ripping open again for far too long

- because they haven't always had their wings, they tend to be slightly more expressive with them

These are all from YouTube videos I found so most everything is cut from liveshows found in this playlist (DTTM has no dialogue so it's spoiler free and less painful, besides you can hear the full version in the official album anyhow):

I don't know of anymore versions atm, but I wanted as many variations as I could find and put it on my mp3 player. You know. Just for fun. I like Drunk Space Pirate! Also my fav versions are probably the TBI Debut and the UDAD Live ones.
