A species-level phylogenetic framework and infrageneric classification for the genus Maesa (Primulaceae)

Species level phylogenetic tree reconstruction of the plant genus maesa.

This paper proposes a reconstruction of the phylogenetic lineage of the gunus masea based on analysis of mostly herbarium specimens using techniques such as taxon sampling, phylogeny reconstruction and DNA extraction, library preparation and sequencing.

Examples of studied plants Maesa lanceolata, Maesa Alnifolia, Maesa ramentacea, Maesa perlaria and Maesa bismarckiana.
