As long as the surface is stable, and not less than 3 to 4 inches thick, bars and block walls can be installed almost anywhere. Block walls average 12 pounds per square foot. Concrete, fiberglass, or acrylic shower pans are all good choices. Interior walls with wood joists are good as long as the floor is level. To lay blocks uniformly, you can use any type of plastic spacer. You can also use the spacers to hold the wall or bar in place while building it. Spacers can be used to make straight or curved walls.

o Installation systems – The new vinyl stack system uses vertical and horizontal vinyl spacers between blocks to align them, and hold them in place during assembly. Silicone is used to bond the blocks to the vinyl spacers within the block wall. This system can be used both indoors and outdoors. You can finish the joints with silicone or special tile grout.

o Pre-fabricated blocks sections - These block sections can be pre-assembled using the vinyl stack installation system, and then placed on the ground.
