Movie night headcannons

-Dante's movie taste has two sides: absolute chaotic bullshit or really cheesy romance movies that should only be viewed by boy-crazy teen girls.

-He will insist you watch his picks and only lets you watch yours if you beg or if he doesn't have a specific movie in mind.

-Makes a crap ton of popcorn and eats like a pig, getting salt all over the couch.

-Also brings beers for some reason. Movie nights aren't exactly a reason to drink, yet here he is.

-As the movie progresses, he gets more and more clingy; by the time the movie's finished and the credits are rolling, he's practically smothering you.

-When kissing scenes pop up he looks at you expectantly, as if he wants you to re-enact whatever the actors are doing on him.

■ Vergil ■

-Vergil has had enough action and horror for his life, so it's only natural that he likes fluffy stuff, like Hallmark holiday movies.

-You'll find him sitting comfortably on the couch with a hot, steaming cup of tea and maybe a few cookies, enjoying the show and all it's cheesy-ness.

-Prefers to watch movies alone because it's quieter that way, but he won't object if you want to join him.

-He will watch whatever you decide to put on, but know that he will be silently judging every second of it.

-Can't be bothered to make the popcorn and just sits around playing with the remote while you do it. This isn't because he's lazy, it's because he doest know how and fears embarrassing himself if he tries and inevitably fails.

-The best part of movie night by far is the fact that you guys have so much fun just hanging around together. It doesn't matter whether you're paying attention the movie or not, what matters is that you're spending time together and loving every second of it.

□ Nero □

-Honestly, he would rather be kicking demon ass or messing around with his prosthetics.

-Still, he wants to spend time with you so he'll suffer through whatever you want him to watch for your sake.

-Nero likes really intense, violent stuff (as if he hasn't seen enough violence already) because he's an edgy boi. However, if you happen to be of the softer, fluffier type, he won't complain.

-He ends up getting really absorbed into whatever you choose anyway, so none of it matters in the end.

-Doesn't like to eat while watching TV. He feels that the sounds of his own chewing is always louder than the show itself.

-He does love drinking soda, though, and has a lot of it stashed in the back of the fridge, so prepare to feel bloated from all the carbonation.

Things That Are in Adagio in Green That Only Exist in My Head Because I Never Bring Them Up in the Fic:

- There is a full bath attached to the hospital room where the Hamatos are staying, including a tub/shower designed to be accessible for patients. Hospital staff stocks it with soaps and cleaning supplies for all types of fur, scales, and skin.

- Raph is medically cleared to use the tub/shower on his own. Leo is not and he's very cranky about it. Leo is still getting sponge baths/wiped down with a washcloth and whines about it every time.

- Leo is allowed to use the toilet but has to be assisted there and back since he's not cleared to walk on his own.

- I'm not talking about the catheter situation because they're teenagers and I feel weird just thinking about it thank you and goodbye

- Mikey's room is also in the VIP Ward, sort of kitty corner across the hallway from the Hamato's room. It's smaller as it's for a single person and has its own private bathroom. He gets his meals delivered but is not cleared to use the bath yet on the account of his bandages.

- CJ isn't actually eating much as a lot of modern food makes him queasy. He's actually terrible at taking care of himself. Wonder where he got that from. :|

How to help the people in Spain

As you may have seen online, Spain is going through a flash flood since October 29. It's mainly affected the Community of Valencia but also some parts of the south-west and the cold drop is now moving to the north-east.

95 bodies have been found at the time I'm writing this (edit: 205 now), there's still people missing and entire towns are isolated as they don't have electricity and their roads have been destroyed. A lot of people don't have tap water or any means to cook. If you're wondering why people didn't evacuate beforehand, it's because authorities didn't care enough to warn people so technically everyone had to go to work and school. Though politicians should be held accountable, the most important thing at the moment is to help those in need. So here's some ways you can help both people and animals that have been affected.

NGOs and fundraisers

MOST NEEDED AT THE MOMENT: You can donate to Valencia's food bank by making a transfer to this bank account: ES86 2100 2806 6402 0009 8998.

Horta Sud is a county in Valencia that has been the most affected by the floodings. People are leaving their houses because they're scared of the infrastructure getting damaged and even walking by foot to Valencia capital to get food. You can help those families via this gofundme.

Hambre Cero is a Spanish non-profit that was founded after the earthquakes in Indonesia. They will be giving food to those who need it. Here's different ways you can donate.

This gofundme is joining efforts with the town hall of Valencia to help people who have lost their homes.

Una copa por Valencia ("a drink to Valencia") is a campaign organized by Spanish influencer David Aliagas. The idea behind it is to donate the amount of money you would spend on drinks on a night out. He'll be joining effort with local non-profits. You can help here.

Here's a thread of artists that are accepting commissions in exchange for donations for Valencia.

Spanish Kpop fans are organizing a collective fundraiser.

EDIT: took Cáritas and Spanish Red Cross out of this post after this tiktok made by a volunteer went viral and a lot of people posted their experiences working for these NGOs. Apparently they're not distributing food. Instead they're telling people not to send more food and send money instead so they can keep part of it.

Animal shelters

Refugio Minipow was home to 50 rabbits and guinea pigs. Thankfully, the owners were able to move all the animals to their homes and those of their neighbors, though the shelter itself has been destroyed right after recent renovations. There's different ways to donate here.

Edit: adding this because I keep seeing people on Twitter and Tiktok say it makes no sense to give money to people in a "first world" country. I need you people to understand that living in a western country doesn't equal politicians caring about you.

This whole thing started because politicians weren't doing their job and they're still not doing it. People (literal civilians, not firefighters or policemen) are literally pulling bodies from under cars and putting them inside the trunks so children in the affected areas don't see them. There's underground parkings still flooded by water and we don't know how many people may be inside them.

France offered to send us 200 firemen and the Ministry of Interior literally REFUSED. Some of these French firemen came on their own anyway. But that's what our politicians are doing. Negating help and pointing fingers at each other so they don't seem guilty.

Summary: Task Force 141 operates successfully without an omega, at least that’s what Price has been saying since its formation. Two alphas and two betas balance the pack just fine, and they have the numbers to prove it.

“I know.. but this is a big deal for you, don’t let me hold you back..” Karyme talks into her phone.

“We’ve been through worse, long distance won’t break us.” She replies after a bit.

“I can visit, and so can you.” She says. “We’ll be fine.”

“Karyme!” Shouts a voice.

Karyme sighs. “Hey, I got to go, my mother’s calling me.. yea.. you know how she gets when I talk to you..”

“I’ll talk to you later, bye.” She says, hanging up the phone.

“Karyme!” Her mom shouts again.

“Coming..” Karyme mumbles, leaving her room.

She walks to the living room, where her mom stands, arms crossed. Immediately the air in the room becomes tense.

Karyme frowns. “What’s going on..?”

Her mom sighs. “That’s what I want you to explain to me.”

Karyme raises an eyebrow. “What do you mean.?”

Her mom makes a face. “I went to the pharmacy to refill my medication.. and they asked how your new medication was going.”

Karyme feels the blood drain from her face. “I-..”

“Care to explain what new medication?” Her mom asks.

Karyme looks away. “It’s for..”

“Well?”

“They’re for.. depression..”

Her mom only frowns. “You’re not depressed, Karyme.”

Karyme makes the same face. “How would you know? You’re never around..”

Her mom narrows her eyes. “Excuse you, but I think I know my daughter.”

“You only know what you want to know..” Karyme mumbles.

“That’s enough, Karyme.” Her mom says coldly. “The medication, hand it over.”

Karyme widens her eyes a bit. “..What.?”

“You heard me.” Her mom replies. “You’re only drugging yourself.”

Karyme frowns. “No.”

“What?”

“I’m 19, and I sorted that medication for myself. You can’t take it.”

“I’m your mother-“

“Only when it’s convenient..”

“That’s enough from you!” her mom shouts. “You need to learn your place!”

“Fuck that!” Karyme shouts back. “Can’t you see? You’re the reason I have to take that medication!”

“You’ve never had a reason to be upset!” Her mother retaliates. “That boy you’ve been with has corrupted you!”

“Don’t you talk bad about him.” Karyme says coldly. “He’s helped me open my eyes-“

“He’s taking you away from us!” Her mom says.

“No! That was what YOU did! When my uncle died, when my ex took advantage of me, when I tried to kill myself, guess what? You weren’t there!” Karyme shouts. “You’ve only ever been here when you want to belittle.. or hurt me..”

There’s a deafening silence as they both stand there.

“Go to your room.” Her mom mumbles. “I don’t want to see your face.”

“Typical.” Karyme mumbles back, heading back to her room.

Once she closes the door, tears begin to sting in her eyes. She wipes them away furiously, and looks at her phone.

The time reads 8 pm. Karyme sighs.

‘I still have time..’ She thinks to herself.

She hears the front door slam closed, and the start of an engine.

This was her chance.

She is quick to pack her valuables, and discard anything of no use. Once she’s finished, she picks up her phone and calls Kaiden.

His voice picks up right away, at it calms Karyme again.

“Hey..” Karyme mumbles, cringing at how hoarse her voice sounds. “No, I’m fine, really..”

“..yeah.. we did..” Karyme replies. “It’s fine, it’s over with..”

She sighs. “What time do you leave again.?” She asks. “Right, 10 pm.. no reason, I just wanted to know..”

“..yeah, I’ll let you finish packing.. I’ll talk to you soon..” She says, hanging up.

She drags her suitcases out the front door, and down the street. She walks until she spots the bus stop. She sighs, deep in thought was she waits.

‘Should I have left a note..?’ She thinks to herself. ‘No.. why would I..?’

She lifts her head up as she sees the bus approach. She sighs, and boards without another thought..

It’s dark out, and cold. Karyme keeps walking, checking the time every minute.

She can’t be late..

She picks up the pace, pulling her jacket closer to her shivering body. She walks until she spots a familiar black car, which is empty.

She turns her head towards the house, which has the door open.

Karyme takes the opportunity to rest, only turning her head when she hears something.

She spots Kaiden, and takes a deep breath.

“..surprise..?” She mumbles.

Kaiden widens his eyes a bit. “Karyme.? What are you doing here.?”

She sighs. “Room for one more.?”

He walks over to her. “What happened.?”

Once he’s close enough, she hugs him, trying to keep it together.

“I want to go with you..” She mumbles.

“But you said-“ He starts.

“Please..” She asks softly.

Kaiden sighs. “Are you sure.? Do your parents know?”

“Yes.. and no.” Karyme replies.

Kaiden frowns. “They’ll report you as missing-“

“I already took care of that.” Karyme says. “..don’t leave me here..”

Kaiden hugs her tight. “Wouldn’t dream of it..”

He lets go of the hug. “Do you have your things?”

Karyme nods, eyeing her bags. They’re quickly loaded in the car and Kaiden sighs.

“Alright..” He says slowly. “..then we’re set, no?”

“I guess so..” Karyme replies.

Kaiden frowns at her. “You need a better jacket, it’s freezing out tonight.”

“I’m fine-“

“You’ll catch a cold.”

“Kaiden..” Karyme groans.

“Here.” He says, taking off his jacket and putting it on her.

Karyme frowns at him. “Now you’ll get cold..”

“I’ll be fine.” He says. “Selyna knows how sick you get when it’s cold.”

”Hypocrite..” Karyme mumbles.

Kaiden smiles a bit. “Just get in the car.”

Karyme gets in the car, sitting silently. When Kaiden gets in, he gives her a weird look.

“You sure you’re okay?” He asks.

Karyme glances at him. “..kinda..”

“We’ll talk about it later.” He says, starting the car.

“Are you going to drive all night.?” Karyme asks.

Kaiden shakes his head. “Only for a bit, we can stop at a hotel for the night.”

Karyme nods, going back to looking out the window.

Kaiden starts to drive away from the familiar town.

Karyme did it.

She really did it.

It was a chilly, quiet night; the stars twinkled dimly in the night sky, the cool nighttime air was quiet, save for the faint hooting of an owl somewhere in the distance. You were curled up on your bedroll, in your tent, blankets wrapped tightly around your figure in an attempt to stave off the cold outside. You rolled over in your sleep, but soon jolted awake. Someone was approaching your tent. You opened one eye and stared at the curtains, waiting to see who would enter. Pretty soon, the silhouette of a man was visible outside the curtains; that man slid a slender, pale hand through the gap and pushed the curtains aside. "Darling, are you awake?" Sighing, you sat up, rubbing your eyes. "I am now. Jesus, Astarion, for a rogue, you suck at sneaking. I could hear you from a mile away." Astarion smiled, a low, rumbling chuckle resounding from his throat. "My apologies, darling. I just..." He sighed, clasping his hands behind his back. "I was wondering if I could stay with you tonight." Your eyes widened; eyebrows nearly shot off your head. "Stay with me...? Uhh...sure. But why?" Astarion sighed softly, crossing over and taking a seat by your side. You tossed part of your blanket over his lap so he wouldn't feel cold in that thin cotton tunic he was always wearing at camp. "I...I had a nightmare." He finally confessed, pulling his knees up to his chest. You nodded, sympathetic to his problem. "I'm sorry. Want to talk about it?" Astarion flashed you a fake smile, one he was accustomed to putting on whenever he felt upset or sad, one that soon dropped as soon as he looked at you and saw his sincere you were. "There's not really much to talk about," He admitted, sighing. "I dreamed of Cazador finding me...of Cazador..." He sucked in a long breath and let it out slowly. "Of him capturing me and dragging me back." He turned to you, an expression of terror and sadness painted across his face. You could see the fear in his eyes; how they shimmered with unshed tears.

It would have been beautiful, had it not been so heartbreaking.

You hooked an arm around his shoulder, gently pulling him close to you. Your grip was firm, solid, reassuring, but not painfully so. Astarion had been so used to forceful yanks and painful clutches; this was a welcome change of pace. He leaned into you, resting his head on your chest. "Don't worry about Cazador," You finally ventured, rubbing comforting circles into his back. "He can't hurt you anymore. Not now that I'm here." Astarion shook his head, curling his arms around himself. "He can hurt me, darling. He's everywhere. Even in my dreams." You pressed a soft kiss to his forehead, shifting your position so he was now in your lap. "He can't hurt you. I'm here. I'll protect you." This seemed to relieve Astarion, as he began to relax; tensed up muscles no longer wound so tightly. "You...you promise?" You nodded, delicately carding your fingers through his hair, feeling a strange, protective urge wash over you. "I swear it on my life. I will protect you." Astarion looked up at you, a genuine smile on his face. "Oh darling," He exclaimed, hugging you tightly. "Thank you. Thank you so much." You grinned, kissing his cheek. "You're welcome." Noticably feeling much better, Astarion slid off your lap and laid next to you, taking your hand and twining it in his. With your free hand, you adjusted the blankets so both of you were covered, then kissed his forehead one last time. "Goodnight, Astarion. I love you." Astarion smiled, squeezing your hand in response. "Love you too, darling. Now get some sleep." You shook your head, rolling over to one side so you could see him better. "You get some sleep, or meditation, or whatever it is elves do. I'll watch over you. I did just swear to protect you, you know." Astarion blinked, looking shocked for a moment. But then his expression evaporated into that dangerous little smirk and he shut his eyes compliantly. As you watched his resting figure, drowsiness began to overtake you as well. "Maybe I'll take a little nap," You reasoned with yourself, sliding into a comfortable position while keeping an arm hooked around Astarion's waist, so you could monitor him. "Just for 5 minutes..."

In Delicious in the Abyss, we follow various groups of adventurers as they explore the "abyss" a mysterious place filled with various fauna and monsters. No matter their race or age, most of them have the same goal: becoming the master of the abyss... However, some have a very different idea of how one should explore the abyss. Take for example a certain group led by an elf named Shen Yuan who desires one thing only... eat as many different monsters as possible!

Shen Yuan's party :

Shen Yuan: Elf, 87 y/o, Mage. His wish is to eat and study as many monsters as possible. He started exploring the abyss about twenty years ago, but had to stop abruptly after taking in Luo Binghe. On the surface, his studies seem to merely be for the sake of curiosity... But are they?

Luo Binghe: Tiefling, 63 y/o, Tank (and cook). Thrown into the abyss at the age of 38 (since tieflings are a long-lived race, it means he was about 14), he got stuck in the lowest levels for few years before Shen Yuan saved him. He regards him as his savior (and one true love) and would do anything for him... even if it means cooking the monsters (he hates it, he hates it so much).

Shang Qinghua: Gnome, 87 y/o, Healer. Shen Yuan's oldest friend and the author of many infamous books. He stopped writing them about twenty years ago though, after he started to explore the abyss with Shen Yuan. He seems to be looking for something in the abyss, or rather: someone.

Liu Qingge: Tallman, 26 y/o, Swordsman. One of Shen Yuan's friends. He used to be part of the Cang Qiong guild but left it after a disagreement with one of his colleagues. Now he works for Shen Yuan with his younger sister, Liu Mingyan. "Uh? My goal? Get stronger. Mh."

Liu Mingyan: Tallman, 24 y/o, Swordswoman. Liu Qingge's younger sister, she accompanies him on each of his missions. She got an offer to work with Cang Qion mountain once but refused it once she learned her brother had left the guild. She's quiet but efficient, however, Shang Qinghua suspects that she might stick around for other reasons...

Cang Qiong Guild:

Yue Qingyuan: Tallman, 48 y/o, Tank. The leader of Cang Qiong, he's a respected individual amongst adventurers. However, he seems leniant on the vices of his vice-leader: Shen Qingqiu.

Shen Qingqiu: Tallman, 40 y/o, Swordman. Vice-leader of Cang Qiong. He's the reason Cang Qiong is exclusively made of tallmen, as he has a strong distate for any other races, especially elves. The only exception to this rule is his adopted daughter: Ning Yingying, a dwarf. He's the one who abandoned Luo Binghe into the abyss after discovering his true nature.

Mu Qingfang: Tallman, 29 y/o, Healer. The group's medic.

Qi Qingqi: Tallman, 31 y/o, Swordswoman. She wanted to create a branch specifically for women in Cang Qiong Guild's but because of Shen Qingqiu's veto on recruiting other races she couldn't make it work.

Ming Fan: Tallman, 19 y/o, Mage. A cowardly young adventurer. He has a crush on Ning Yingying.

Ning Yingying: Dwarf, 51 y/o, Tank. Despite being older than him, she's Shen Qingqiu's adopted daughter whom he took in when she was merely 30 y/o. She likes her father a lot, however she can't forgive him for what he has done to Luo Binghe. (She'll leave Cang Qiong to join Shen Yuan's part at some point).

(Side note, Cang Qiong is still specialized in cultivation, hence why most of them look so young)

The Tieflings hideout:

Tieflings are a race that I made up for this AU specifically, inspired by D&D. They're inhabitant of the dungeon, tall and sturdy, with pointy ears akin to elves, horns of various shapes and tails. They can also use magic like elves, tallmen or gnomes, however their magic rely on its own set of rules.

Mobei-Jun: Tiefling, 92 y/o, King of the Northern tribe. Leader of one of the numerous tiefling tribes hidden in the abyss, he met Shang Qinghua twenty years ago in the abyss and has made him swear his loyalty to him since then. He has sensed change in the abyss since Luo Binghe's arrival, and decided to trust Shen Yuan's party to solve this issue... With the compensation of Shang Qinghua.

Sha Hualing: Half-ogre half-halfoot, 15 y/o, Princess of the Eastern tribe. Adopted daughter of the king of the eastern tribe, she's a bastard born from the forbidden union between an ogre and a half-foot and was abandoned into the abyss at birth. Of short stature, with a short life spawn, she makes up for it with her keen senses and her strength. She later on joins Shen Yuan's party.

The first Tieflings:

Tianlang-Jun: Tiefling, ??? y/o, Master of the Abyss. The master of the abyss, his powers are beyond anything imaginable. He claims to have eaten what has given him those powers and since then has known hunger beyond what any mortal could endure. He has once fell in love with a tallman woman by the name of Su Xiyan, but she has left the abyss years ago, and he doesn't know what her whereabouts are... The only thing he knows is that she's the only one capable of satisfying this hunger that eats him from the inside.

Zhuzhi-Lang: Beastman (snake), ??? y/o, Guardian of the abyss. Tasked by the Abyss' Master to protect its inhabitants, he'll kill anyone who gets in his ways indiscriminately at the exception of Shen Yuan, who saved him years ago when exploring the abyss for the first time. He only obeys the Abyss' Master orders, and because of that, has forced the Tieflings deeper and deeper into the abyss regardless of how they felt about it. As a chimera, he's more snake than the tiefling his soul has been mixed with.

Other groups:

Huan Hua's guild (the governor's guild): The one guild financed by the governor of the state in which the abyss is located. Its members are from various races. Despite the guild stating they're open to anyone, only those from a wealthy background can become a part of it.

Zhao Hua's guild: Specialized in magic. They have rounds to reanimate unlucky adventurers in the abyss.

Tian Yi's guild: Specialized in training new adventurers.

And that's it for now! What awaits them in the abyss? Many adventures and delicious cooking, that is, if Luo Binghe can handle it.
