After much angst and a £7 charity shop vase purchase, the paper flower bouquet is ready, just in time to take it to Oxford this afternoon.

A bunch of purple lily of the valley

Uhhhh a buch of flowers (I don't know what it looks like but it's the same as lilies) but it definitely looks like some kind fantasy fire power flowers

A BIG BLUE LOTUS (I was actually thinking of Ramayan when I made this, so this is kinda like a offering to Maa Durga)

A orange lotus with red core (again this looks like some kind os fantasy world flower)

The red lotus I made for Vasant and it's identical blue lotus.

Now it's a reference to “Lalkomol ar Neelkomol” (I am big Thakumar Jhuli fan ykr)

A pink lotus bud (it was actually too small to bloom lol)

Another sunflower but yeah still not really

Some hydrangeas of all colours (I don't know what to do with them T_T I just kept making them while talking to my friend on call)

Next part won't be flowers but other things..

A cheerful addition to this container display at Great Dixter, Sussex, was Helipterum ‘Pierrot Red’ (paper flower). This annual can be sown indoors in March onto moist well drained compost and the seedlings transplanted when large enough to handle and grown on in cooler conditions. The plants can go outside after the risk of frost has gone, usually May in the U.K.

The last one of my PhD friends is doing her viva this week - slightly bittersweet because of the whole PhD hell I went through but never got any of the perks, but that doesn't mean we get to sit around. She's flying back home the next morning, so I can't buy her flowers. So.

I am planning on making 5 more before Friday, one per day. Wish me luck!
