in which annabeth has baby fever in more way than one (i strayed from the prompt im sorry)

Today is really not Annabeth’s day. The house was a mess, toys and blankets thrown all over the living room, and she’s sure that she looks no better. She knows without a doubt that if she were to look into the mirror, she would be scarred by the extent of the circles under her eyes.

She just wants to have a nice chat to whoever told her having a baby would be fun.

Her day isn’t made any better when the baby starts crying from the couch Annabeth had precariously set her on top of. She feels guilty for a second because what type of mom puts their two-month-old on the couch where they could roll off, but it quickly dissipates when she reminds herself that she’s only a few feet away, and the baby is surrounded by mountains of pillows.

As Annabeth picks up the baby, resting the infant’s head against her chest, she feels alarmingly like crying. The baby has been crying on and off for hours, more than she usually did, and Annabeth was lost. She figures that her daughter was getting sick, which broke her heart, and judging from the way everything around Annabeth felt hot, her throat sore, she thinks she’s getting sick too.

The next few hours are no different. Annabeth lays on the couch with her baby laying on top of her, and she just stares at her, feeling sick and teary eyed, and entirely too emotional for a million different reasons. She never realized how hard it was being a parent before now when everything terrified her.

It really is the hardest job she’ll ever love.

Annabeth was always a risk taker. Life didn’t scare her before she had a kid. But now? Now she has so much to lose, and everything posed a threat. She wants to desperately to protect her daughter, but she’s quickly learning she can’t control everything. Giving up power is not something she ever thought she’d struggle so much with.

Still, she can’t believe that she created something so perfect. Sophia was so small with the cutest nose that Annabeth had to resist kissing every time it scrunched as the baby yawned. She had the lightest blonde tufts of hair and Percy’s green eyes that she had fallen in love with so long ago. Sophia is the perfect representation of them and everything they had worked so hard to create.

Annabeth glances at the clock, internally cursing when she sees Percy still won’t be home for another hour. Despite how in love with Sophia she is, she is also bordering what she thinks may be chronic fatigue and she wants her husband here to take over so she can sleep for a good few days. There is a pounding in her head that has started up, and she closes her eyes to stop the light from flooding in.

She isn’t entirely sure when she dozed off, but the next thing she knows, the room is dark and Percy is leaning over her, a soft smile on his face. He stays silent as he lets her wake up, his thumb stroking her cheek slowly. After a few seconds, he leans forwards to press a kiss to her cheek.

“Hey, you,” he says lightly. His hand goes to rest on the back of their daughter, who is still laying on Annabeth’s stomach, eyes closed and sucking on her pacifier. “It’s almost eight.”

“Mhm.”

“Are you okay?” he asks, his voice staying with the gentle hum.

“My head hurts,” she mumbles. “And my tummy and my entire body.”

“Uh oh.”

Annabeth shifts slightly, still slowly blinking the sleep away. She locks eyes with Percy again, who is now looking at her with sympathy.

Percy takes one look around the house. “It looks like a tornado blew through here.”

“Give me a break.”

“Bad day?” he whispers, but there’s a smirk pulling at his lips.

“How’d you know?”

“Just a feeling,” he says, stifling laugher. “That, and you texted me asking me to kill you, so.”

“Raising a baby is hard,” she says, smiling tiredly when Percy slowly crawls over her. He’s careful not to settle his weight on top of the baby, instead forcing himself down between her and the couch. He lets her rest her head on his arm, pressing one, two kisses to her lips.

“I know,” he says between repeated kisses. “You’re doing amazing.”

“Or I was until my baby got me sick. I love her, but I am personally insulted.”

Percy snickers. “As you should be.”

They fall back into silence, watching their baby sleep. Her hand is curled into a tiny fist she holds above her, her face turned to the side. Her tiny test rises and falls with every breath she takes, and Annabeth tries desperately not to move as to not disturb the peace.

“Can you believe it?” Percy asks. “This is our baby.”

“We make cute babies.”

“Does that mean that we can have more babies?”

“I would like very much to not experience giving birth again, thank you,” Annabeth says, turning her head to the side.

Percy pouts. “Never? Not even for me?”

Annabeth sighs dramatically. “I’ll think about it.”

“That’s so a yes. I mean, how could you not want another one of these?” Percy’s hard goes to rest softly on their baby’s back again.

“Stop it,” she warns. “We can’t talk about this while I’m looking into the eyes of my child. It’s a biased conversation.”

“You getting baby fever?” he jokes.

“In more way than one,” she replies. Percy frowns again, and his hand goes to touch at her forehead before dropping to his side.

“You’re warm,” he says, nuzzling her neck with his nose. “Why don’t you go to sleep?”

“I was sleeping until you so kindly woke me up.”

Percy kisses her nose in apology. “Let’s go to bed then. We can just snuggle our baby all night.”

She wants so badly to do just that. She’s so exhausted and just holding her baby, wrapping tightly in Percy arms, sounds like the perfect way to end the day. But the baby is finally asleep, and the house is a mess.

“I have to clean,” she says, glancing around the room that looks like it exploded.

Percy shrugs. “We can take care of that tomorrow. Right now, I want to cuddle both of my babies.”

“I guess I can live with that,” she says, but she makes no effort to move. She doesn’t know that she has the energy to do anything anymore.

And so Percy sits up, taking the baby from her arms and holding her up to his own chest. She’s so tiny compared to Percy, but he’s being so gentle it melts her heart. He pulls Annabeth up with one hand, but before she can follow him, she takes a step back to just look at him and everything they’ve created.

Being a parent truly is terrifying. It’s near impossible, and she felt like she made a mistake every day. But then in times like these, with Percy looking at her like she’s the only thing in the world, she thinks that she’d do it a thousand times over.

Here you go!!

The foxes decided to play 21 questions. It was Allison and Nicky’s idea. Neil attempted to opt out but they would have none of that. Neil wasn’t one to drink and since Nicky and Allison’s version of 21 questions involved a lot of shots he wasn’t exactly sure how he felt about it. Losing control wasn’t something Neil was used to but all the foxes looked so happy and he knew Andrew would make sure he was safe so in the end he decided he’d play.

“Andrew your turn!” Nicky yelled enthusiastically. He may have pre-gamed the game a little bit.

“Not playing,” Andrew said. Neil was sitting on the floor below him looking nervously excited and already slightly flushed from the alcohol making its way through his system. Andrew wondered what kind of a drunk Neil was. Hopefully he wasn’t an angry drunk.

“Fine, fine i’ll go again. Ummmm lets see oooh oh i got one! Never have I ever kissed a girl before!”

Allison, Renee, Aaron, Matt and Kevin all downed their shots immediately. Neil frowned down at his drink but slowly tipped it back and swallowed.

“Wait pause, Neil you’ve kissed a girl before?” Matt asked. Andrew tried to hide the curiosity from his face as he looked down at Neil.

“A couple,” Neil mumbled, embarrassed.

“A couple?? Neil is a player! I’m offended you never told us! Must not have been that great since you decided to swing the other way huh?” Nicky blabbered.

Neil flushed bright red. “I already said I didn’t swing and I don’t. Those girls were nothing. Andrew is different.” Neil said. He knew the alcohol was making his tongue looser but there was no way for him to control it at this point.

“Different how?” Allison said, wiggling her eyebrows suggestively at Neil.

“Don’t answer that,” Andrew snapped at Neil.

“Well, i’m still offended. I thought I was your first kiss!” Nicky shouted. Apparently alcohol made Nicky louder than normal.

“Your first- what? You’ve kissed Neil?” Dan asked incredulously.

“Yeah well...” Nicky paused and looked up at Andrew. Andrew was leaned over closer to him and giving him a death glare.

“Go on Nicky,” Andrew said.

“Please don’t kill me,” Nicky squeaked out.

Andrew pulled a knife out of his armband and started twirling it in his hand. “Explain.”

Allison was continuously feeding Neil shots as they watched this confrontation.

“Well you see, we may or may not have kissed a few times the first time we took him to Columbia,” Nicky said, looking terrified.

“I thought I told you to keep your hands off him?” Andrew said, cocking his head.

“You told me to give him the cracker dust so I did!”

“I didn’t realize that included kissing,” Andrew said.

“Okay yeah so I may have taken advantage of the situation a little bit. But I mean come on can you blame me? Neil is beautiful, like male model beautiful. I just couldn’t help myself! And besides you weren’t even into him back then!”

Aaron wrinkled his nose in disgust at the words. Neil looked perplexed by the whole situation. Andrew looked murderous.

Andrew stared at him in silence with death in his eyes. He wanted to deny what Nicky had said but he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t attracted to Neil back then, even with the hair and contacts.

“Oh. Oh. You were into him back then? I-I mean um well I thought you hated him when you two met?”

“I did.”

Nicky looked extremely confused and Andrew wanted to stab him so bad his hands were shaking.

“It’s called sexual attraction Nicky. Leave him be,” Renee said softly but not quietly.

Andrew glared at Renee but stayed silent.

“Right um I-I apologize. Please don’t kill me. Please.” Nicky said weakly.

“If you ever get anywhere near him again or compliment him like that again I will stab you in your sleep.”

Nicky squeaked and recoiled from Andrew but nodded his head vigorously.

Neil was just looking up at Andrew in wonder and awe. Andrew glanced down at him and raised his brows but Neil just kept staring. Andrew just rolled his eyes and looked away.

“Okay next round, Kevin’s turn!” Allison said.

The next few rounds went by with little to no drama and Neil knew he was completely trashed. Every thought he usually kept in his head was managing to make its way out of his mouth and he had no way to stop it. Andrew was always beautiful and Neil always loved him but it was like the alcohol was making every feeling he had for Andrew increase tenfold and he was having a really hard time trying to keep those feelings to himself.

Neil contented himself with staring at Andrew in awe. Sometimes he couldn’t believe how perfect his boyfriend was.

“Look at how he’s looking at him!” Allison loudly whispered to Renee happily.

Everyone in the room heard that and they all moved their attention to Neil. Neil was sipping a mixed drink and staring at Andrew like he put the stars in the sky. Andrew was trying as hard as he could to ignore this and was staring intently at the wall.

“Neil what are you looking at?” Allison said. She was an instigator at heart and loved seeing Neil fawn over Andrew. Neil looked over at the rest of the group like he hadn’t realized any other humans existed besides Andrew.

Neil sighed, “My boyfriend,” he said dreamily.

Nicky squealed and the only person who wasn’t grinning widely at Neil was Aaron. Even Kevin looked mildly amused. Andrew just looked down at Neil with a blank face.

“Why are you staring at Andrew Neil?” Nicky asked already getting excited by what his response might be.

“Because I love him,” Neil said with a huge smile on his face. Everyone was squealing and smiling at this and Aaron looked at Neil with something like disbelief on his face.

Andrew fought tooth and nail to keep his expression unreadable but he felt like his insides were being stuffed with sunshine.

“Stop that,” Andrew said and flicked Neil’s nose.

Matt frowned at this. He knew Neil knew what he was doing and he was sure Andrew was different when they were alone but he did think Neil deserved someone who could be a little more affectionate.

Neil noticed Matt’s frown and stage whispered, “Don’t worry Andrew says he loves me all the time, he just doesn’t show anyone else his soft side.”

Everyone started cracking up laughing at this. Neil peeked up at Andrew hoping he didn’t anger him. His mouth was getting really hard to control at this point.

“Sorry,” Neil whispered to Andrew.

Neil was looking at Andrew with the biggest puppy eyes and Andrew knew he was so screwed. Andrew thought to hell with it and brought his hand to Neil’s cheekbone. Neil nodded happily at Andrew and Andrew began stroking his cheek. He leaned in and softly brushed his lips against Neil’s. Neil let out a contented sigh and melted into the kiss. After a moment Andrew pulled back to look at Neil.

Neil pouted, “More,” he whined.

Andrew rolled his eyes. “You’re drunk.”

“Drew I want, I want...” Neil said helplessly.

“What?”

Neil leaned close to Andrew’s neck and paused. Andrew muttered a soft yes and Neil brushed his lips against Andrew’s neck. “All of you,” Neil whispered.

Andrew stood abruptly and grabbed a water bottle from the fridge.

“Drewww,” Neil whined loudly.

“Oh my god, oh my god. He has a nickname for him! I’m gonna die it’s so cute,” Nicky said excitedly nudging Kevin over and over to get him to watch Neil and Andrew. Matt, Dan, and Allison were all squealing in excitement at the spectacle and Renee was smiling quietly.

“Drink,” Andrew said and shoved the water bottle into Neil’s hand.

“Does this mean we can have sex?” Neil said excitedly. Aaron choked on his drink and cringed at this.

Andrew lightly smacked Neil on the side of his head. “Shut it. Drink your water.”

“Drewww.”

Andrew glared at him, “What?”

Neil scooted up closer to Andrew’s seat and whispered loud enough for everyone to hear, “You’re really really beautiful.”

“If you’re trying to seduce me it’s not working,” Andrew said.

Neil cocked his head to the side dramatically. “Last time I said that you let me-“ Andrew put his hand over Neil’s mouth and Neil kept speaking beneath it.

“Finish that sentence and you’re sleeping on the floor.”

Andrew took his hand off Neil’s mouth thinking Neil was done but Neil finished his sentence aloud.

“-under five minutes, so I thought it worked,” Neil finished.

Nicky opened his mouth to say something and Andrew glared at him. “Say one word and you’re dead.”

Everyone was attempting to keep their laughs under control as Neil talked to Andrew.

Andrew got up again and Neil whined in protest. “Calm down i’m just getting you more water,” Andrew said as he stalked off.

Andrew came back and handed Neil another water bottle.

“Drewwww,” Neil said. Andrew just stared at him with raised brows.

“I love you. You’re the best person in the wholeeee wide world. And you’re also really really pretty. And your arms are super muscular. And you have beautiful eyes. And your hair is super soft. And I love that tiny freckle you have on your a-“ Andrew smacked his hand over Neil’s mouth again.

Andrew picked Neil up bridal style and growled, “We’re leaving.”

As Andrew walked out of the apartment with Neil in his arms Neil looked over his shoulder and waved happily at the foxes.

All the foxes just laughed at Neil and waved back at him.

Andrew plopped Neil down on their bed and stared down at him. Neil couldn’t remember anything he had just said but he had a hunch he had said some things he shouldn’t have.

“I’m sorry,” Neil said softly, wishing he was sober right now for about a hundred different reasons. The water had made it into his system enough that he was more aware of everything around him but he still felt off.

“Shut up. Yes or no?”

“Yes. Always yes,” Neil said breathlessly.

Andrew just sat down next to Neil on the bed and kissed him once softly on the lips. Neil sighed.

“Are you mad at me?” Neil asked.

“No. I love you.”

“Hug. Yes or no?” Neil asked.

Andrew just nodded and Neil wrapped him in a tight embrace. They stayed wrapped in each others arms for long minutes and right before Neil pulled back he whispered, “I love you too,” against Andrew’s neck.

Andrew got his answer. Neil was a sappy drunk.

- first meeting outside the restaurant. ohh how I love how awkward yet endearing they both were when they finally introduced themselves to one another. rewatching it made me realize that JY was already smitten by SA since the start. (like literally since the start y'all!!! he didn't even know her yet and wanted to stop the car to get SA an umbrella and this was in the first ep!!)

- when JY switched coffee cups with SA bc she spilt her cup and he started drinking it so she can’t refuse even though he doesn’t like coffee. Like he just did it bc he was compelled to do so?? like dude what if she already drank from it??? This scene was so funny to me and I love it cuz I dont think SA is used to being the one taken care of like that so it was just v cute

- when the noona was trying to get them to talk banmal but SA was like oh noooo he’s a superstar. This was cute bc you can actually see that JY was disappointed. Also they keep sneaking peeks at each other lol cute fools 

- waiting for taxi scene- this was so freaking adorable. shows how considerate they both are for each other and it’s so freaking awkward when they both realized they were standing there waiting for each other to get a taxi- but like in the cutest way

- when they were both outside that restaurant and SA asked if JY enjoyed his performance at granny’s house and I think this was the first time someone asked our boy if he likes what he does for a living and you can just tell his heart went soft for her(same dude same)

- spontaneous non-date date. ohh I love the first time they ate together at that beer place. they really started to get to know each other there. the mood and how that scene was filmed was just chef’s kiss~~

- rehearsal room we should be friends scene. when homeboy transitioned from moonlight sonata to happy birthday, y'all knew it was over for SA- god damn I would have swoon over too

- when he ran to SA to give her his signed CD. He was so worried about her he forgot about JK lmaooo. Also the fact the he validated her as a violinist when SA was at a very low point... I mean... boyfriend material ugh

- the scene when SA told JY every little thing he does concerns her and that she didn’t want to feel that way about him anymore. As soon as SA said that homeboy PANICKED!!! I don’t even think he knew how much he liked SA until she said that :’)

- the lunchroom scenes 1) when they were teasing each other and 2) when JY announced that they were dating lolol I love how stoic he normally is but for SA he becomes a softie hehe

-ice cream day date; lol when SA won’t let JY tie her shoelaces bc she didn’t want to fall for him lol ok girl

(Also let’s include all the other times we see JY actually use that handkerchief- especially after they broke up. like homeboy was holding on to it for his dear life bc it was the only thing he had of SA~~ my fragile heart!!) ps did we ever see SA get a handkerchief from him???? - when MS was telling JY in the car that SA has only openly confessed liking two things in her life and one them was JY. He was so flustered and couldn’t hide his smile and dimples... bruhhhhh he was full on swoon. Also when JY heard SA say that she really likes JY like he was so proud of himself lmao he’s like “yeah my gf LIKES ME” lolol

- when the lovebirds fought who was gonna clean up the broken glass at JY apartment. I love loveee this one bc SA has been beaten down so much by everyone calling her talentless that she didn’t even consider how important her hands is to her as a musician. And JY being like honey ur a violist and a musician too- UR HANDS ARE PRECIOUS. This was just v touching. Again showing how JY has always considered SA as an equal despite all the shit people say about his gf. luv him :’)

-all the moments JY just stood by SA’s side and held her hand when she needed comfort. I love how he’s just there for her. His silent support was just enough. (One thing that would have been nice is if we saw SA do the same thing, I felt like the writers were almost there but just didn't go all the way which is a shame tbh)

- Their lil day trip to JY’s hometown. I like how JY was so open to SA here. When he proclaimed that he never felt “this way before”  I screamed!! It was at that moment you clearly knew as a viewer that JY never really loved JK. He might have he loved the idea of her, yes. But he never truly loved her the way he loves SA. And his realization of this in that particular episode just made me so so so happy

- Handholding in the bus scene. That shit was so freaking tender bc you can tell how content JY was. He was beyond smitten- homeboy was IN LOVE AT THIS POINT

- when JY dropped SA home. I mean everything about this scene really makes ur heart soft right?? How both of them were beaming? How SA feet probably hurt bc homegirl was wearing heels the whole day and walked another 30 min just so she can spend more time with JY? How she literally ran back to him and JY just had this impression watching her like “my gf is cute af”?? How SA said something along the lines of JY having somewhere to belong to now and you can tell this had a double meaning for him bc at this point he prob considered SA as his home..I was literally mush oh my god. 

-break up scene. I know, v painful- but this was a rare one in kdramaland where I actually thought it was necessary for them to split (still wish it was done earlier but alas I'll take it) It was a graceful and needed breakup. Also when JY pulled out that umbrella for her.... bish it was over for me

- SA’s recital. I MEAN HOW IN SYNC COULD THEY BE. I normally skip the musical performances whenever I watch dramas that are music related- but this show makes it so magical I simply could not. PEAAAKKK ROMANCE

- JY’s recital- when he played that last song I was a big mess cuz we all knew it was dedicated for SA :’’) (I listen to this piece all the time now and im so emo when I hear it bc like god WHEN)

- First I love you scene. JY just going for it and chasing his happiness without caring if SA might reject him. We love to see it

- basically all the scenes at the end of ep 16. I wish all of them were longer. I wanted to see more of them dating and happy!!! But I just love how they are both so INTO each other and you can see how happy JY is bc he finally has that person back that understood him since the beginning and it makes you feel so warm knowing they’re each other’s support system ahhhh I love their love !!

“Hahah, so that’s what happened?,” A light giggle comes out of Bianca’s lips as she listens to Grayson speaking through the phone.

“Yeah! Like Isla tried to talk to me once again, but Ethan was like— ‘leave my brother alone’,” the other person talking with her replies, as a light chuckle escapes him. In fact, her giggle is lowkey contagious, it makes him laugh.

“Well, you do deserve someone better,” Bianca lips form into a smile, though she knows that he can’t see her smiling. It’s been 3 months since the night Grayson saved her from the abusive monster named Declan Hayes, and ever since that night where he promised her that he’d never leave, their bond grew even stronger than before. They haven’t said anything about making things official, but they’re definitely more than bestfriends. Everyone knows that.

“Fuck yes,” he replies briefly. Bianca remains silent as her mind wonders.

What if the better one for Grayson is her?

“Bianca?,” Grayson calls for her name, breaking the silence between them.

“Yeah?”

“Nothing, just making sure you’re still up. Or are you falling asleep?,” he guesses. It’s not a secret for him that Bianca is a fast-sleeper. She falls asleep easily anywhere, anytime.

Bianca take a quick glance at the clock on her nightstand, with her hand rubbing her eye. It’s 2 minutes to 12 am, luckily tomorrow’s Saturday. “I’m still up, a little sleepy, though, but I’ll be fine,” she mumbles sleepily.

Grayson’s smiles grow a little wider as he listens to her sleepy voice. He knew it. His mind wanders, thinking about sleepy Bianca laying in her bed, struggling to keep her eyes open to talk to him. God, she’s the cutest.

Grayson glances over at Ethan, who’s laying on his bed with his phone in his hand, scrolling down through his messages to text Mabel, the girl that he has been talking to for the past 2 months. It’s obvious that Ethan’s so into her that he stays up late lately only to text her, or sometimes to talk to her through the phone. His other hand is grabbing 2 prom tickets, obviously for him and Mabel.

One crazy idea comes into his mind out of nowhere.

“B—Bianca?!,” Grayson pretends to stutter as he calls for the girl one more time. Bianca, who’s slowly falling asleep on the other line, quickly opens her eyes the moment Grayson calls her name.

“Gray? Are you okay?,” Bianca frowns.

It works. Grayson smiles to himself as he goes on with his own scenario.

“I—I need you to save me,” he tries to hold himself back from laughing. He can clearly picture her sitting on the edge of her bed, wondering about what’s happening with him.

“Grayson?”

“Bianca, s—save me...”

“Save you from what?”

“From...”

“From what?! Grayson, what’s happening?!,” Bianca nearly cries. He really got her good.

Feeling bad for scaring her, Grayson takes a deep breath, leaving her wondering in complete silence.

“Grayson are you there?!,” Bianca yells once again.

“I—I’m here, so... I—I need you to save me from...”

“Tell me,” she whispers, her voice is shaky.

“... Save me from going to the prom alone, Bumblebee, please? Will you?,” Grayson tries to speak in the calmest way as he can.

Another silence.

“... Fuck you, Gray. Fuck. You.” Grayson can hear her grunting on the other line. Hearing her grunts got him bursting into endless laughter.

“You scared me! The fuck, Grayson?,” a deep sigh comes out of Bianca’s lips as she throws herself back onto the mattress.

“Look, hey, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, but I mean it,” Grayson coos. He feels bad for giving her panic attack. “Bianca, baby, will you?,” he asks once again.

“Grayson, say sike right now,” Bianca sinks her teeth into ther lower lip, though deep inside, she thinks she’s about to melt.

“Bianca Reine, my Bumblebee, will you save me from going to the prom alone?,” he repeats once again.

“Grayson?,” this time, Bianca calls for his name.

“Yeah?,” he replies, pretty anxious about her reaction.

“You know— I don’t want to be rude, but prom isn’t really my thing...,” Bianca sighs once again.

“Oh...,” The smile on his face slowly fades away as he listens to her answer. “So, you’re not—“

“... unless I’m going with you, Grapeson,” Bianca quickly cuts him off, followed with a light giggle.

Grayson’s smile quickly makes its way back to his face, and even grows wider than before. “Now sleep, Bumblebee, I know you’re tired, and it’s late for you,” he says.

“You know me way too well sometimes,” Bianca yawns. “I’ll talk to you once I’m up, yeah?,” she tucks herself in as she speaks.

“Goodnight, Bumblebee,” Grayson whispers. “I love you.”

“I love you too, Grapeson,” the sleepy girl replies.

Grayson waits for her to hung up in silence, but “night, Grapeson” isn’t the one that he gets. Instead of a goodnight, the only thing he gets in return is the sound of her soft snore. She fell asleep before she even got the chance to end the phone call.

“I love you, Bumblebee, I really do,” Grayson whispers once again, hoping his own sleeping beauty hears him in her sleep.

Here they are sitting in Grayson’s Porsche, at the beach, once again. The place where they confessed their feelings for each other that night. They left the prom an hour ago, like— who cares about prom night as long as you got your favorite person with you?

Bianca’s cheeks turn pinkish as Grayson compliments her once again. Her hand makes its way up to the top of his head to toy with his short hair. “And Grapeson in a suit? You look so, um...,” Bianca pauses for a while, struggling to find the right word.

“Hot?,” Grayson teasingly whispers in her ear as a sly smirk comes across his lips.

Bianca spats his hand away from her cheek as she laughs. “Ew, Grapeson,” she shakes her head.

“Graaaaay, it tickes,” she tries to pull away, but Grayson notices her attempt that he tightens his arms around her. “Okay, okay, yeah, you’re hot, now let me go, please?,” she begs. So Grayson stops as soon as he gently pecks her lips as the final kiss.

“Can’t help myself, you look like an angel, Bumblebee,” he snickers, replied with a giggle from Bianca.

Grayson’s phone beeps, and he quickly pulls it out of his pocket to check for the notifications. It’s Ethan.

E: “bro, where ya at?”

G: “the beach”

E: “at what time did you leave? smh you didn’t tell me”

G: “an hour ago?? sorry, needa little time with my Bumblebee away from the crowd”

There sits Bianca, with her dress straps down, trying to reach her back to unzip her dress. “Can you help me with this?,” she looks up at him innocently.

“Bianca, w—what are you—“

“Um...,” she pauses, her cheeks are redder than before. “I heard that some people be— you know—,” she speaks nervously.

Grayson sinks his teeth into his lower lip to hold himself back from laughing as he tries his best to pay attention to her explanation.

“They have— y—you know—,” Bianca stutters once again.

“I thought you’re not ready for that? The last time that piece of shit asked you to do it with him, you cried, and you told me that you’re not even ready,” Grayson hums.

“No! No! It’s... different. Wait— you don’t want to?,” she frowns.

“I didn’t say that, I’m just making sure, Bumblebee. The last time we talked about this, you told me you ain’t ready,” he shakes his head. “Or maybe you want to save your virginity for marriage?,” he teases her once again.

“No, it’s just— I want this night to be remembered, Gray. I want it to be special, and—“

“Okay,” he quickly cuts her off as he takes his suit jacket off. Then his hands quickly move up to untie his tie, and throws it to the backseat.

Bianca bites her lower lip as she watches him doing so. In a quick motion, Grayson pulls her onto his lap, and rests both of his hands on each side of her waist.

God, he’s having an angel on his lap, and that angel is Bianca Reine; his Bumblebee.

Bianca awkwardly rests her palms on his cheeks, cupping them lovingly as she rests her forehead against his. Grayson emits a light chuckle as a reaction before he adds, “Bumblebee, it’s okay, it ain’t a fucking Biology exam, calm down, don’t be nervous.”

“J—just go slow, okay? Grayson, this is my fir—“

“Shh, hey,” Grayson coos as he takes her hand in his, gently drawing circular pattern on the back of her hand to calm her down. “I’d spend the rest of my night with you. Chill, we have a lot of time,” he whispers, just right before he attaches his lips onto the skin of her neck to nibble on it gently.

“G—Gray...,” a light moan escapes Bianca’s lips as she tilts her head aside for a bit to give him more access.

Grayson hums softly as his hands quickly makes their way to the back of her dress to unzip it. As soon as it’s completely unzipped, Bianca pushes it down until it reaches the level of her waist, leaving her upper body exposed to her bestfriend. Grayson continues to suck on the skin of her neck, but this time he moves his hands back to her fore part. He gently cups her breast as he continues to tease her.

“S—shit,” she whines. Grayson gently brushes the pad of his thumb across her perky nipple as he pulls away, to find her sitting on his lap with her upper body fully exposed.

“Jesus Christ, Bianca,” he mumbles. “You look so fucking perfect.”

“You think so?,” Bianca whispers, her hands making its way to his chest to unbutton his shirt.
