#Or if it's something Kubo chose specifically for the Ishida family

One thing I find neat is how each Ishida shares one kanji in common with the previous Ishida.
Souken and Ryuken share the “弦” kanji, meaning “Bowstring”.
Then we have Ryuken and Uryu sharing the “竜” kanji, meaning “Dragon”.
Presumably, any child of Uryu would thus share the “雨” kanji, meaning “Rain”.
#Bleach#Ishida Uryu#Ishida Ryuken#Ishida Souken#I don't have much else to say I just thought this was neat#I wonder if this is a common practice in Japan#Or if it's something Kubo chose specifically for the Ishida family#I imagine probably the latter
