Girls Night and Serious Questions

May's tail swayed and swished softly as she rested comfortably on some cushions on the floor of her actors' room leaning back against a beanbag for back support. The pink strawberry scented face mask was cool on her skin as were the cucumber slices on her eyes as she exhaled peacefully with some quiet background music for ambience. She raised a hand carefully, taking a cucumber slice from a bowl and putting it in her mouth, crunching it with satisfaction.

"I don't think you're meant to eat the slices off your face May."

The monochromatic two commented, he was also wearing a face mask. It was blue and blueberry scented with cucumber slices over his eyes, he was also lounging comfortably, tail swaying in contentment.

"I know that's why I sliced extras," her voice was sing song like as she carefully rattled the bowl for him to hear, "you know you wanna crunchy crunch on a cucumbee~" He snorted a soft laugh but reach out clumsily finding the bowl and taking a slice happily popping it in his mouth with a grin as she lightly gasped to herself, "He got the cucumberrr."

"Yes he dooo~"

The other two singsonged back and sighed.

"Gosh this is nice, and you say you and Matt try to do this once a week?"

"Yup, sometimes we make little fruit salads with slices and chunks of all kinds of fruits. God it's so good, unfortunately I didn't have any fruit in so we got cucumber masks and unhealthy snacks. Peak girls night material." the other two snorted in soft laughter.

"Girls night Girls night."

He playfully chanted before settling back into a comfortable quiet.

"So, I heard your manager had a baby?"

He queried too curious not too.

"Yup, indeed she did."

"I heard she had it naturally?"

"Al dente indeed yea, no cloning, didn't know that could happen."

He hummed softly in agreement.

"What does that mean for you then?"

"Uh, my manager is more busy than usual and I'm probably gonna have to babysit I guess."

He made a soft ah sound as he chewed the inside of his mouth.

"Does it bother you?"

"What you mean?"

"Well, you and your manager have a complicated uh relation to one another."

"Yea she's cloned from me."

"And she had a baby, does that mean you could too?"

May went quiet and thoughtful before clumsily stretching a leg to try to kick or at least nudge the other two.

"Why? Wanting to get me pregnant or something ya dork, you're an absolute pervert." Her voice was entirely playful and jokey.

"Hey!"

He reached to nudge her back.

"That is slander my good woman I hope you have a good lawyer that is not why I was asking!"

His tone was mostly mock offended easy in nature as they continued to lightly kick and nudge the other with May giggling softly.

"I just meant like, is that something you could see happening for you down the line?"

"Girl time really unlocking the deep personal questions, what is girls night if not for crimes and personal stuff I guess." May laughed softly before humming in thought, "I dunno, I don't, think about my future a lot, but I can't really see myself with a kid personally I'm not responsible enough for that."

"You take care of Matt don't you."

He joked playfully as she mock gasped in joke offense at him being right.

"Yes but that's differentt, he's my optional pest whereas a baby is full time pest." the two snorted out loud giggling and kicking his feet a bit at May referring to her hypothetical child as a pest.

"You're so mean to your babyyy."

He joked as she laughed.

"Fuck them kids."

He snorted a laugh as she started to giggle.

"Fuck them kids."

He repeated, laughing to himself at the absurdity.

"What about you huh, babies on your bucket list? I can see you settling down eventually with a lovely woman," she nudged him playfully with her foot, "you two could make a cute little baby."

"You two?? Me and who??"

He asked, completely baffled.

"Your wife!" she boldly started giggling as he made more confused noises.

"What wife?? Where is this wife?? Show me this woman?"

He playfully demanded as she laughed and giggled harder.

"I dunno! She's somewhere! You'll find her and you'll luuuuuuv herrrr. And I can make jokes about stealing your pretty wife."

"You can't have her, she's mine."

"I could seduce her from you."

"Is that why you picture me with a wife so you can steal her from me?"

"Yes."

He playfully kicked at her laughing at her weirdness.

"You are so bizarre!"

She laughed as well saying, "I knowww, Its just me getting you back for stealing my drinks, you're a horrid little coffee thief I'm a horrid little wife stealer." He snorted loudly, absolutely howling and hollering as he kicked his leg into the floor.

"THAT IS IN NO WAY EQUAL EXCHANGE YOU CRETIN?!?!"

"YES IT IS BITCH!" She yelled laughter in her voice as he cackled.

"You are positively insane."

"Thank youuu," She snickered.

"Not a compliment!"

"I'm taking it as one you fuck!" She laughed as he let out a laugh like exhale as he ate a cucumber slice before asking.

"So, if I got a husband you'd steal my husband because I drank your drinks."

"Hmmmmmm….I dunnoooo….cause like…" She moved her hand limping her wrist, "but also like it depends. How hots your husband." He made a confused sound.

"What the hell are you on about? I heard you move but I can't remember."

"Oh yea." She laughed at her mistake, "so like, girls."

He made a hum of agreement bringing his hands to his stomach.

"Yea, girls."

"I like girls."

"..oh.."

She didn't catch his disappointed tone, "but also sometimes like, boys."

"Oh? So like, both?"

His tone slightly intrigued.

"Sometimes? I don't know like attraction and orientation hard, I flip flop a bit because I'm not sure, I go yea I like both, then I go ages without like feeling attracted to guys so hm maybe just girls but then ohoho a cute guy so like 80% of the time I'm like woman and 20% I'm like but that dude though, ya know?"

"Hm, I understand what you're saying, yes. Have you, seen any attractive guys in a while?"

She made a noise humming for a while her tone going strange saying, "I mean yea but it's whatever." She made a pft sound waving off her hand, her tail thumping the floor softly, "You thirsty? I'm thirsty, imma make milkshakes, you want milkshake?"

He chuckled to himself as he lifted a cucumber from his eye to watch her hurry past him, smiling a bit to himself. He could push and tease about it as he could tell she was embarrassed, but, then he might not get a milkshake.

"Yea I'll have the one you're having."

"You can have your fucking own!" He snorted softly.

we are through with the two episodes! it is very late for me so i'm gonna sit and think on what i've seen so far and shitpost a little. i did really like seeing my rebels blorbos again even if the live action actors don't quite have their groove yet. obviously very excited to retrieve ezra <3 so yeah that was that and i'll be back for more next week!

May I ask you a question: why do you like Diego and Ismelda? I'm not their hater, just neutural on them, but I can't get why some people like them.

Oh that's okay, nice of you to ask (some people would just attack). (Please excuse the length and any misspellings).

For starters, I have a tendency to like unlikable characters, yes as simple as that. No, no characters like Merula who you're supposed to hate or be enemies with, but characters supposed to annoy or make the person interacting/reading roll their eyes. That's how I made some of my best friendships in school.

I won't go in depth why I chose them to ship with my ocs (I encourage you to go through my shipping tags if you'd like) also because it's a whole other topic and I'll end up writing a bible here. I'll try as much as I can not use headcanons cause those will mean nothing to you, but I think is worth to say what I, Bee, think of them is not what my MC thinks of them and I would say she has a rocky start with these two as anyone.

First Ismelda.

I guess my liking if Ismelda gets a bit deeper than just liking a character I find nice, I actually see some of my school experiences on her. I wasn't emo doing grusome comments at all, but I was this outcast who thought of herself as this unappealing, unattractive, and uninteresting person who almost everyday wished she could be homeschooled because I just didn't have the patience to witness other people's bullshit. I wrote sad poetry for people just like her! I took 6 years in the same school to finally find a real friend because the others kept leaving me.

So in some points I can't help but sympathize with what she's going through. Being alone, seeing the only friend you have slip away to someone you can't possibly compete with - I was not an MC in school, I was Ismelda! -, being unattractive in a place where everyone looks at least cute, getting the side-eye for going against the grain. I have no sister, no negligent family, but as human I can empathize with her troubles.

Besides points I can sympathize with, I like some of her attitude of screw everyone and what everyone thinks, which is a perspective I sort of took after years of being laughed at. On the gruesomeness aspect, my last fandom, that I'm still in, is Hannibal, so I'm not unfamiliar to gruesome and cannibal jokes, characters being terrible to each other and we still shipping them and joking about them, and idk stabbing people? In media ofc xD

Also HER BARK IS MUCH HARSHER THAN HER BITE. People often comment negatively about her on the things she says, but it's obviously for shock value, when threat appears she's pissing her pants and it's not fooling anyone. It's hilarious to me like watching a lil baby puppy trying to seem threatening, sometimes we even place a finger on their mouth so they can bite us softly.

The 'haha I wish Voldemort was back' is her being at the same time an idiot, a product of her house (let's not forget at this period in time Slytherin is full of straight up DE kids with DE ideals), and unknowledgeable about what it all means. She hasn't been, as far as I know, directly affected by the 1st Wizarding War like Barnaby or Merula - those two literally had their stupid ass parents taken away.

I also like to watch JC try poorly to build her an arc. The placing of Crushed for example is off, happening after many dating SQs, but is there her arc begins - she has a stiff moral compass that gets a lil loose after that -, then we have the Sphinx club where she's way less hostile, the Quibbler SQ where they do all sorts of weird stuff to her but I wanna talk about it another time, and the Great Cook Off where she actually apologizes for overreacting. She's not a fully baked character, she's a caricature of the emo girl and I like to watch her development, and even when there's no visible development, I find humor.

I don't like everything she does or everything she says - but I don't even like Barnaby a 100% of the time - but I know it's fertile ground where a great character can grow.

As for Diego this might be shorter because I've known him for less time in the game.

Diego is extroverted, he's confident, and he's always eager to help. People's problem with him comes mostly from he's flashy, he has a grandiose sense of self, and that he s flirty. And none of those things are aspects I take trouble with.

I've said before, this talking in third person, calling himself 'great', 'the best' is a way of asserting himself to himself and others. And there's nothing wrong with that as there's nothing wrong with being a shy introvert. So far, he has placed himself high without ever placing someone down and he gives praise where praise is due.

As being flirty, which people really seem to hate and I really see no harm. Is not like he tried to kiss MC or said something inappropriate. I find it quite endearing actually. I'm gonna guess JC wanted to make him a Don Juan but landed on Johnny Bravo and I'm here having a laugh about it.

The 'omg he thinks he's the best but but MC never lost a duel to him' argument is so stupid to me, because the duels we do value nothing, if we lose a duel the game makes you pay to do another one as many times as we need. The value is in things known and said, Diego is literally a dueling instructor - probably placed as such by Flitwick. Unfortunately when we duel him is not like the game allows us to lose, is different from Penny's potion making, where she makes it while we sit and watch and even before we see her doing a potion, we're told she's the best at it and she's knows she is.

Diego has shown to be, besides his more prominent characteristics, to be thoughtful, always willing to help, and enthusiastic. He never shies away from the blame, he encourages others, and he's eager to listen to others. But like Ismelda he's really underdeveloped and underused.

One point to make would be his personality vibes with my MC's personality. She's an extrovert, she likes to think she's desired, she takes pride in the abilities she acquired along her curse breaking.

To conclude, do I think you should like them? It'd be nice for me to have someone to talk about them with, but it's not about what I want. You don't have to like them, all I ask from people is respected, specially on other people's content. I have characters I don't like in the game (I didn't max out Tulip on purpose, and Andre who was starting to grow on me had a big reset lately), so I won't try to force them down your throat, but you won't see me dragging them down.

Your ask was why I like them and if all said wasn't enough, the simple answer is they're both ridiculous and the make me laugh and smile. I'd like to have them as friends.

1. Grace is so amazing I can't even explain how much I love her rn like I was not sure if I'd like her at all back in ep 1 but she's currently my favourite girl in the group (sorry Claire) she is so awesome. The way she talked to Supot? Queen.

2. THE CHANONPOM GAVE ME LIFE. Honestly I am absolutely certain Non didn't actually want revenge on Pom and that Supot just made him think he did, like how Pang accidentally made Nac believe he hated him. It just doesn't make sense to me, like not one bit. I'm certain it was Supot manipulating him. I think if he really hated Pom more he would have gone to him from the beginning.

3. THAT WAS THEM TELLING US PANGWAVE IS REAL OKAY THAT IS THE ONLY EXPLANATION FOR THAT SCENE NO I DO NOT TAKE CRITICISM

4. KORN!!! I'm still so sad I hated him, Supot really did a number on him and all of us huh. I'm glad he can finally sleep again, even though I personally don't understand why he would give a potential like that up. I have nightmares so not needing sleep sounds like a blessing to me but then again, to each their own. I'm just glad he's okay now.

Also I can relate to wanting to expose your school the Principal of the school I graduated from was super evil too, like briefly went to jail for hiding a child molestation incident after I graduated evil and I had a lot of issues with school authority that year and she straight up hated me it was great. We never really can do much about how badly schools treat us when we're kids tho. It's a sad reality.
