Hiii!!! Omg this the first time im asking an author something ahaha, i just wanted rant abit. Gosh im so awkward lol.

N E ways i got reminded of two of your works when i was listening to this AI cover of jungkook singing Enchanted by Taylor Swift.

Taylor just has the best lyricism when it comes to romantic songs or songs in general and it went so perfectly with the fsnfic i litterally cried.

Jungkook being the hopeless romantic he is covering the damn song (even tho its AI hushush) mayhaps made me blush. It went so well with the first meet fics you wrote.

One was the poetic one with jungkook and oc being strangers and him falling asleep on her shoulder and was her crush for a bit. (P.s the bridge of the song was so heckin perfect for the bittersweet fic i wss losing my mind)

And the other is a one that i enjoyed but my dumbass didnt save or reblog and i couldnt find it in your masterlist T_T. It was about jkxoc meeting on a bench and oc shares her granola bar with him. OC also was in a record/stereo shop as the fic started.

Idk just something about the way those lyrics went:

gonna go ahead and say this even though this wasn't one of my fave eps (i didn't entirely think it was good, or like, i preferred ep 5 and 6 much more): imo rop is better than the three lotr movies. there.

like. sauron is badass and evil??? WAY better than the fucking eye

yeah there were weird bits in the battle like that horse jumping strangely (which i've seen haters point out), but if you'd stop looking at lotr through rose-tinted glasses, you'll remember that the things legolas got up to with cgi was just as fucking weird (the elephant thing, off the top of my head)

i didn't like this ep much because the battles dragged on and on and on (lotr also suffers from this imo), and rushing a wall in siege warfare is also very odd to my unknowledgeable self (lotr also suffers from this) and hmm mirdania and celebrimbor and sauron all talking on top of the wall and not getting shot at? (again, lotr suffers from this. but i don't see people complaining about lotr)

i'll get to the good stuff soon. heccc the good stuff was good

btw where is isildur in all this? haha

but what i really love about rop is the choices people have to make! will durin come. will that orc refuse to fight. the whole notion of 'does adar want to kill sauron more than he loves his children'...

i think the nine rings might... be a s3 thing? they get away from sauron so he spends s3 chasing after them or whatever. and giving them to men

okayokay lemme interrupt with the good stuff!! omg brimby and sauron, that convo was aahgfhghfhgh. yeah, i agree with what the internet said, that was some good shit re abuse. but the real icing on the cake was when brimby said it was my fault 😭😭😭 and galadriel blames herself too 😭😭😭

and and and brimby figuring out that he's sorta in a time loop kinda (not really, but like, ... idk how to put it exactly, but his surroundings keep cycling/repeating/are in stasis? that's really cool)

also YESSS the mithril was sauron's blood, like some people figured out :3

and i loved brimby trying to destroy the nine rings. but lol it was kinda funny when he tried to pass them off to galadriel, before you find out that he's gonna go back to sauron/sacrifice himself basically. before you learn that, it kinda looks like 'oh no i definitely don't want to be carrying those rings around bc it'll be an instant target on my back! here galadriel you have them' 😂

okay so i have a question about the orcs. i thought they couldn't go in sunlight...?

also damn the river got dammed (?) fast skjfngkjfng (i dont have an issue with this btw)

adar should've probably done a rousing speech to motivate that one orc skjsnkfjg

on the other hand, durin's rousing speech was... ooookay... i was half expecting his dad to rock up/notice from all the noise and be like WTF

AH, nearly forgot to mention: the galadriel and elrond kiss. it was fine in itself, imo you get that it's a distraction, but i really disagree with the music. i think the music makes it confusing. anyway, nbd

anyway, as i said, this isn't one of my fave eps, it's hard to hold tension with long battles i guess (to me anyway). i'm starting to wonder about the stranger though lol, maybe he'll spend two whole seasons finding his stick??
