My tiktok fyp has recently been filled with the amazing music by @yaelokre (definitely go check them out) and the hyperfixation became so real that I made a meadowlark oc (This is Ada named after the Ibong Adarna, and they wear a magpie mask) skakdks I'm also really inlove with the art style and I tried to replicate it as much as I can 😩

Okay, quick thingy before I go to bed cuz I’m tired but can’t get this off my mind so I need to share ittt

Notice how Clémentine’s pinky (finger) is painted with blue, as if they had nail polish. Now, this is interesting because it’s just one finger and it’s BLUE (stick with me PLS). We can see that the storyteller has all their nails painted with the same blue (or if not a very similar one) EXEPT for one, the ‘ring finger’, replacing the color blue with YELLOW. Notice how all of the Lark has emblematic (if it can be called like that) colors (based on the picture of their silhouettes), Cole’s color is yellow and Clémentine’s color is blue, this can also be tied to the Harkers.

As we know, the Bellringer and the Storyteller are married, which could mean the blue color as they are more ‘connected’ to each other ?? (I hope this makes sense) leaving the ‘ring finger’ in yellow could also mean the connection they have onto themselves as they have come to be (I’m literally delusional omg idk what I’m doing). Clémmie’s finger could mean that their journey has just began, as they don’t really understand and are getting to know themselves and their relationship with Cole.

I also have to add that the nail polish does not always appear on Yaelokre’s illustrations which could mean they just made it for fun and I’m eating out of an empty plate 😭

I will be talking more about Meadowlark cuz it’s my newest bigger hyperfixiation and I literally can’t stop thinking about it, thanks for reading if u did cuz this is literally me tipping nonsense

Ever since you came to the Manor no one has seen your face. It's not uncommon for people to not show their face. The Ripper or Melly for example. So no one thought much of it.

It has been a while since you came to the Manor and you've been making acquaintances.

You don't talk much. You don't really like interacting with people so socializing is quite hard for you.

Ithaqua's the same. Which caused you two to not engage at first.

There were times that you were forced to talk to people which exhausted you so you'd find an empty and quiet place.

Ithaqua was usually there too. He didn't like socializing either.

You didn't feel overwhelmed when you were around him which caused you two to slowly get to know eachother.

You felt at ease with Ithaqua.

Ithaqua never once asked why you wear that mask. He found it cute in fact. The bunny mask made him feel like there was alot more to discover about you.

Ithaqua himself wore a mask. But unlike you he sometimes took it off even around the other hunters.

Days passed and your relationship got stronger.

You two are dating now.

It's been months since he confessed to you.

That day he tilted your mask a bit so he could kiss you but didn't go farther than that.

He wanted you to show him your face.

Today is going to be a special night.

You feel safe with him. You trust him. So you decided to show how much you love him tonight.

You avoided Ithaqua all day.

Candles, petals, inscenes. The room became cozy. The romantic ambiance filled the room.

You wrote a letter to Ithaqua that said to meet you in your room at midnight.

You wore a nice outfit and waited patiently for Ithaqua.

As the clock hit midnight your heart started to beat faster. Nervousness washed over you.

Ithaqua was no different.

His mind was wandering all over the place.

He didn't know what to expect which is what made him worried.

Your heart skipped a beat when he knocked on the door.

“It's open.” You say.

He slowly opens the door. When his eyes land on you he petrifies.

His mind is completely empty. The only thought wandering around in it is how gorgeous you look.

He could feel his heart beating faster and faster.

You haven't made eye contact with him since he came in the room.

As you're looking to the floor you ask “Are you just going to stare?” In a low voice.

Ithaqua comes to his senses and closes the door. Then he slowly walks towards you and sits infront of you. Then he tilts your chin a bit higher so your eyes fall on him.

Your face turns red. “What?”

A soft smile appears on his face. “You're beautiful.” He says.

He comes closer and his lips fall onto yours.

You feel him slowly push you onto the bed and as you feel the mattress behind you butterflies in your stomach flutter like they never have before.
