I’ve been doing research on the sorts of names & surnames Orphans have been given through history, for my Sims save, because I just don’t personally see Bailey as the sort to want to give their own name to any of the orphans. The implications are just... They don’t seem like they’d like ‘em. And I’d say name them after the town or something similar but we don’t Know that - possibly intentionally.

So I’ve been a little bit torn between giving them all a basic shared orphan surname (Though idk what that’d mean. Might just look at the meanings of common foundling surnames and go from there to fit the UK setting?) and the other option of giving them different, but very obvious and simple surnames based on where or when they arrived.

(This of course having the exception of orphans that are old enough at arrival to already have names, of course. Like, Robin to me might have their own surname. Idk. The way they treat PC as being the older of them despite them being the same age lead to me headcanoning that Robin showed up as a little kid rather than as a baby)
