It had been a very long time since The Great War between the Decepticons and the Autobots, however there were still rumors that a group of Decepticons were on the planet known as Earth.

The Autobots on said planet were a team of repair bots who were known as, Optimus Prime, Bulkhead, Prowl, Ratchet, and Bumblebee.

There had been rumors that a Decepticon known as Shockwave was on the same planet and in hiding waiting for commands from Megatron, there had also been suspicions that Shockwave had been the Decepticon spy in the Autobot boot camp.

It had also been said that the scout Bumblebee had fallen in love with Shockwave’s disguise; Longarm and had been courting him at that time.

It had been said that the scout had signed a contract with the spy, not knowing the tragedy it would bring…

REC: Neon Inkwell - Of That Colossal Wreck

a long-anticipated limited series by Jonny Sims and Sasha Sienna, exploring what it means to be human, how identity is shaped, and what can be done when all seems lost.

first standout thing about this series is the sound design (and the music.) it’s GORGEOUS, discordant and haunting, and really just sets a mood before the story even gets its stride. reportedly, the RQ production staff got to mix things up and try out new roles for Neon Inkwell, so Katie Seaton actually got to do the music and sound design for this series. i have to assume this means she was responsible for bringing the alien “whistlers” to life — and i just think they’re so goddamn cool. i want to know everything about them. check out this post for a sampler of that. i was so impressed overall that i’m currently checking out some of Katie’s other work.

obviously, i knew i was going to enjoy the writing — Jonny Sims has produced nothing but bangers from TMA to both of his published novels, and what i’ve seen of Sasha Sienna’s writing in the TMA bonus “What the Ghost?” episodes, as well as their ttrpg work, left me with no doubt that i would enjoy any characters that they helped to develop. but i was still really moved by how each character interacts with the others individually. despite being a fairly short series, there’s somehow room for the development of all six characters — in fact, for the majority of the cast, they’re as in the dark about their own personalities as the audience is at the start of the story, so you get to go on that journey together. i thought that was a neat new spin on the classic amnesiac protag trope that i see so often in this flavor of sci-fi.

this story is at least partially a space survival horror. that being said, the worldbuilding necessitates some pretty daunting existential questions about human ethics, community, and personal identity. from a narrative standpoint, i was wondering how such a short series would even be able to deliver satisfying answers to all of this, but i think it was pretty well done. no spoilers, but man — that finale was like a whole round of emotional gutpunches. a surprisingly hopeful finish.

i already miss these characters terribly ;_; i didn’t even have them very long, but they’re all so lovable and their group dynamic has so much potential. highly recommend checking it out (but mind the content warnings for each episode.)

BOŽE koliko mrzim ove majmune koji izmišljaju nove reči koje su em netačne em glupe ko kurac i koje vrlo često već postoje, kao ono za prilog. Moraš da imaš manje od miligrama mozga da tretiraš pozajmljenice kao najveći problem s jezikom umesto činjenice da deca ne umeju jebeno da pišu. Reč košmar je direktno preuzeta iz francuskog a sintagma noćna mora je pojava u skoro svakom evropskom jeziku u obliku mare, Mahr, mara itd, jel to znači da nam treba "nova srBska reč!!11" i za to? Možda zlospavačluk ili tako nekakvo sranje? Vlada je puna debila, narod je pun debila, dijaspora je puna debila i to se najviše ogleda u činjenici da više ne umemo da pričamo. Izvini za ovoliku poruku.

Kontam da ću svakih 10 godina imati krizu identiteta gde ću se izgubiti potpuno: i šta volim, i koga volim, i šta želim, i gde dalje. Juče me devojka pitala koji su moji hobiji, ja sam zurila u nju nekih 5 sekundi i onda rekla “čitam... filmovi, serije”, kao da se upisujem u leksikon u petom osnovne. Nemam više nikakve hobije, nikakve ambicije (što je paradoks jer svaki slobodan trenutak koristim da čitam, učim i spremam se za doktorat - ali mora tiranin-perfekcionista u meni od nečega da živi), i imam osećaj da mi ni do čega više nije stalo, što bi Bebi Dol rekla: Samo ovde pijem kafu i samo sam hrišćanka. Kao zmija što skida košuljicu, tako ću ja da skinem ozbiljnu sebe sa sebe, da podivljam i da podetinjim. 

Živiš i misliš: obići ću sveta, imaću zajednicu ljudi oko sebe koji me vole, ostvariću nešto u svom životu - kuća okućnica deca stalan posao - a onda se bližiš tridesetim sav jadan i nikakav (mada možda nisi tako jadan i nikakav, jer si MLAD i ni ne znaš koliko možeš), srećan ako ne piješ lekove za smirenje, ako te partner voli i poštuje, i ako imaš jednu, dve osobe s kojima možeš da odeš na kafu, a da ne požališ posle. Jebiga, to ti je život. 

Smaraju me opšta mesta - svi hoće da budu programeri - bolje je roditi dete dok si mlađi nego kad si stariji - u Srbiji je loše - treba kupiti nekretninu / naći dodatni posao gde malo radiš a puno zarađuješ, a onda opet, lako je govoriti to nekome ko ima nekretninu, muža/ženu programera i decu je izrodio do tridesete. U suštini, nisi pametniji, nisi bolji, samo te ne svrbi na mestima gde se drugi češu. Tebe svrbi na mestima koja ne možeš sam dohvatiti, pa ili ti treba štap, ili ti treba neko da te počeše. U svakom slučaju, loše ti je, ali ne toliko loše, i bolje da ćutiš. 

“Bolje je da ćutiš” i “Ćutanje je zlato” uvek govore i pišu ljudi koji mnogo govore i pišu. Takva sam vam, eto, i ja. Ali dugo me nije bilo, pa praštajte.

I've been trying to commit to actually FINISHING pods lately, which is hard for me. I always try to hold off, savor things. I have a hard time saying goodbye to any show. (Books less so, interestingly, but I wonder how I feel about series. I have to admit I don't read them that often.)

I listen to a stupid amount of audio dramas. There's soooo many more on my active and "want to" lists. I'm pretty sure it's gonna wreck me, but I'm in a finishing mood, so I'll probably finish out a few more in the coming days. You will be receiving an update about each and every one.

And this is your every now and again reminder that audio dramas are a labor of love. As someone who is super suspicious and oft-betrayed by media, I go into audio dramas KNOWING NOTHING AT ALL ABOUT THEM. I don't always like them. Sometimes I'm actively repulsed by them! But so far I have NEVER felt like they were in bad faith. Generally speaking, they're indie productions, an attempt to tell an amazing story that the creator(s) really really care about. They're often not based on existing (or at least widespread) genre conventions but on audio drama conventions which, again, tend to be founded on rich and meaningful storytelling. All you weird nerds like me, you're gonna love it.

Eu não julgo você ter se afastado de mim tão facilmente, eu mesma já tava cansada, cansada de você e das suas 100 versões diferentes. Da super obsessão por macumba literalmente sufocante , do desespero e extrema obsessão com os garotos e a vitória, de ver problema na relação de todos menos nas suas, em um dia julgar todos e no outro, me corrigir por fazer o mesmom(?), do hábito em achar defeitos no meu namorado(que eram iguais aos do terceiro amor da sua vida desse ano), da sua total falta de respeito com os meus sonhos ou desejos só por que você não acredita(FINGE!) em família felizes. Eu acho que você me poluiu, e eu já não sou muito limpa das cabeça.

Mas quero dizer que estou sentindo muitas coisas agora. Deca diz que você tem uma certa dor de cotovelo..que você é amarga e infeliz. Eu não gosto nem de pensar nisso. Acho ofensivo pensar assim de você. Mas as pessoas falam com tanta certeza... (mas é você que tem família e eu não tenho nada? Kk) essa conta não é exata pra mim. Nova sezona “Kako se sluša koncert” od 30. septembra na Kolarcu

Nova sezona edukativnog programa Mala škola bontona/Kako se sluša koncert počinje u subotu 30. septembra, kada će na velikoj sceni Kolarčeve zadužbine nastupiti mladi saksofonisti.

Ciklus Mala škola bontona/Kako se sluša koncert, koji organizuje Centar za muziku Kolarčeve zadužbine, namenjen je najmlađoj publici i njihovim roditeljima. Voditelj ovog jedinstvenog programa je Miloš Milovanović koji je po obrazovanju muzičar, a po zanimanju televizijski voditelj i deci poznato lice. On na veoma specifičan i originalan način decu vodi kroz ovaj program. Uz Milovanovića, mališani saznaju istoriju Kolarčeve zadužbine, nauče kada se i zašto aplaudira, šta piše u programu, kako se treba ponašati na koncertu i u jednoj instituciji kulture, šarmantno im prenese podatke iz istorije muzike i zajedno sa njima pravi opuštenu i prijatnu atmosferu na programu.

Na predstojećem koncertu, koji je deo serije koncerata Mini SAXperience, mališani će imati priliku da saznaju sve što ih zanima o saksofonu.

Banda saksofonista je oformljena 2014. godine pod mentorstvom profesora Milana Savića, sa ciljem da mladi izvođači steknu iskustvo kamernog muziciranja. Nakon nekoliko godina veoma aktivnog koncertriranja, Banda saksofonista je izrasla u sastav sa atraktivnim i raznovrsnim repertoarom. Jedinstveni su po kratkim i iznenadnim nastupima na otvorenom koji doprinose popularizaciji saksofona među širom publikom. Osim nastupa na otvorenom, ovaj sastav nastupa i u okviru koncertne serije Mini SAXperience koja se tokom cele godine održava na različitim lokacijama u Beogradu uključujući i Veliku dvoranu Kolarčeve zadužbine. Na ovaj način deca imaju priliku da čuju i vide ove izvrsne saksofoniste i nauče nešto novo o ovom zanimljivom instrumentu. Program 30. septemra počeće u 11 sati, a ulaznice, po ceni od 300 dinara, u prodaji su na biletarnici Kolarca.
