Random Jude thoughts I’ve been chewing on for a while. Not so much theories but I’ve just been curious about them. Under the cut for spoilers.

I wonder if he went to a “ragged school” prior to his being sent to public school.

Ragged schools were charitable schools for the poor in the 19ty century England/Scotland. They were often ran by churches.

Apparently, the name ragged school comes from the fact that children wore ragged clothing and rarely had proper footwear.

What made me wonder this was the kid from the Cruiseline event. Jude specifically mentioned the kid may have a chance if he finds a charity school. Hmm, I think Jude going to a ragged school would be possible, especially if he went to a nobles paid public school later…hopefully he would have at least reading foundation gained from the ragged school atp. But maybe not? Maybe he had to learn to read at the public school?

Also, if he did attend a ragged school then that would’ve put him in contact with the church. Idk about you all, but I’ve noticed some settings with Jude and the church.

Black wedding event, his first BD event, and he refused to go in a church in Ellis’ route. Well, the reason for that is he claims he doesn’t care to know about Ellis’ past. His 2nd wedding event is just to have or literal wedding, but he did have the pastor leave because otherwise he couldn’t sign the contract with his wife.

Hmmm, did he suffer abuses as a student as these schools? Is there resentment there? Or is he uncomfortable because they represent everything opposite of what he is….such as things like light and truth versus things like darkness and dishonesty? Did they also look down on him when they should’ve been pinnacles of support?

Ah, I’m not saying these institutions were like this irl, I’m just saying for lore purposes they could be this way. These institutions were meant to help, but well people are people.

I’m rambling now. I need to stop. But the part about truth is something I’m interested for other reasons…..

Anyway, I can’t wait to learn more about our cute and clever little Jude.

Well I originally logged on to this account to reblog my haphazard analysis/theory on Kirumi's character (and I still will in a moment) only to get these messages in my DMs:

Now, I normally fine with individuals not agreeing with me--I've stated multiple times that I encourage people to think for themselves and come to their own conclusions.

If there is someone belittling my analyses/theories for content, that is a matter of disrespect.

I've been thinking about Frozen lately (big surprise, I know), more specifically about what Frozen 3 and 4 will bring.

I have no idea what the story could be about, nor the setting. However, something I'd like to see is Elsa losing her powers, just for a short time. It doesn't need to be the main plot point. But I think the idea of her losing them after she finally came to accept them could be truly interesting to see. After all, not having those powers was, for years, everything she wanted. And suddenly, now that she found a purpose for them a real reason, she loses them.

I can see her curious to explore life without ice, perhaps even enjoying it for a brief moment, until she realises what not having her powers truly mean. What having your essence striped from you means.

I'm the first to say Elsa deserves to be happy, over all things. But she's such an interesting and complex character, I'd love to see her struggling to come to terms with something like that.

In the livestream on Friday Mark mentioned there was an official trailer for The Edge of Sleep and kept saying he'd love to make his own version (not wanting to diss the creator of the official trailer, he just has his own preferences for these things), then waffling back and forth on it before finally saying he would post the official trailer on his channel right after the stream ended.

Two days later, no trailer on his channel.

At this point it's not even a theory, this man is using his weekend off to make his own "fan" trailer, isn't he?

I just love the subtle hints CC!BBH places into his lore. It's so good.

My favorite right now is q!BBH always picking up or placing flowers when not thinking/talking. It's something just, there without thought.

A flower a day q!forever would give, to help q!BBH gain back his color.

The question is, what does this mean now? Is he trying to heal himself? Remember something that he can't grasp? Or is it a hint that the old Q!BBH is trying to get out but can't?

We will have to wait and see I guess!
