Might as well post all the Calem songs too.
Paris by Caro Emerald - this is The Calem Song for me. Spot on how I view him during XY. Could break it down line by line but it really is the whole song. Encapsulates his journey.
Look Over Your Shoulder by Kwabs - another good vibe song for how Calem is during XY (and even how he is prior to XY). Vices and bad decisions slowly catching up with him.
These get their own section since are from a Team Flare Wins AU of sorts? Labeled as Dystopian AU in my doc and I decided on most of them while channeling the Team Flare Wins AU since Calem (along with Serena and Shauna) stay with Lysandre and Team Flare for a while after Lys successfully fires the Ultimate Weapon. They do eventually run away (and are found by Lucas who’s traveled the destroyed region with Giratina) but Calem is having a relationship with Lysandre while in the group before the running away part. Calem is not not going to fuck the guy just because he whipped out (what he thought was) the rest of humanity. Boy has poor coping mechanisms at the best of times, he’s way worse here. (And on Lysandre’s end he’s maybe not as happy with the outcome of things as he thought he’d be so why not distract himself with Calem when the doubt starts to build).
So these are Lysandre/Calem songs but don’t work for Mainverse. But they count as Calem songs for me since are all from his POV
Won’t Win by Fractures - This one can kinda sorta work for Mainverse a little. Ish. Honestly though this is just Team Flare Wins!Calem and how his story progresses down that branch. Lysandre may have “won,” but Calem does bounce back.
Your Joy Is My Low by IAMX - Fully a Team Flare Wins AU song. Very spot on vibe for how Calem would feel in the immediate aftermath of the situation. But also they’re fucking about it.
What Kind Of Man by Florence + The Machine - Okay 100% this does work really well as a Lys/Sycamore song but still. Is my “well…if I made them endgame!” song. So Team Flare Wins AU but Calem doesn’t leave. Or just in the fantasy themed AUs where they’re together (Fire Emblem AU being one). Like sure they might be endgame, but it’s still Lysandre so can’t see them as being happy.

Over on the fankid discord, I was talking with @moenecropyromancer about her fankid for Lysandre, Florian, and was impressed by some of the similarities with my Lysandre fankid, Casimir (chief of which being that Florian’s name was Casimir in a past life).  So obviously I had to draw the sorta-same name, half brothers together!

Fankid Week Day 6: AUs/Crossovers: Fire Emblem AU - Main 4
An AU that I’ve actually toyed with for quite a while, although the premise for it stems from a oneshot I started of Calem being rescued from bandits by lionman!Lysandre while fleeing his conquered kingdom.  But as everything I do is omegaverse, the fankids still exist in it.
Juri - The daughter of a villager turned sniper to save his village and the mysterious dark mage he feel in love with along the way.  While Juri does inherit a small amount of Lucas’ magic, she mostly takes after Barry, having trained with him from a young age. The archer of the group.
Casimir - The result of a forbidden affair between a runaway noble and the beast man who saved his life.  Lysandre is more of a wolkskin in this AU over a laguz, except he’s a lion (lionskin?), so despite being half-human, Casimir retains the fighting abilities of that part of his heritage.  He’s able to transform into a lion-like creature, although he shuns the ability and mostly fights with a sword.  The rest of his siblings being fully human only adds to his complex.  Takes the role of the “lord” in the group.
Kyra - An onmyoji-in-training whose mother is a high ranking priestess in Sinnoh while her father works for the royal family.  She’s raised with the expectation that she too will use her abilities in service of the kingdom and it shows in her suggestions on how the group should handle conflicts.  The main elemental mage in the group who doubles as the healer.
Colm - The younger brother of Juri who takes after Lucas in fighting style, having inherited his affinity for dark magic more strongly than his sister.  He has a dour outlook on things and would really rather avoid fighting altogether.  The dark mage of the group, although he has a hidden ability for healing magic as well.

The Allegri (+ Voclain) Family Tree
The only additions on this one compared to the previous tree is a character in grey circle with a shedinja halo means they’re dead.  The difference between a crossed out loveball and just a dotted line means the characters are divorced over the relationship having just ended.
The drama with Lysandre is what makes this tree more complex, since both of his children are the results of flings/one night stands.

Royalty AU for Trevor/Serena?
Characters: Trevor, mentions of Tierno, Calem, Serena, Lysandre, Augustine, and Wikstrom
Pairings: Lysandre x Calem (or at least the beginnings of it in the background), and Trevor x Serena. A couple other’s can possibly be inferred if you consider my main verse as a whole.
Summary: Trevor as well as the rest of the court awaits for the king’s intended to arrive, only to be besotted at first sight by the noble lady knight who accompanies the foreign prince.
Word Count: 978
Notes: This is more an introduction of sorts over any actual relationship development, as I got caught up in the worldbuilding.
Trevor fidgeted nervously, pulling at his cuff for the umpteenth time that evening while the court waited for the king’s betrothed to arrive.  This would be the first public appearance of the king’s intended in the Kalosian court, and anyone with a connection to the throne, whether noble or retainer, was there to catch a glimpse of the lucky omega who had claimed their king’s hand. Trevor himself would rather be anywhere else but here right now, but as he was expected to start taking over some of his father’s duties in court, he had little choice.  His parent’s flighty attendance over the years had already left a mark on their house, Trevor continuing that tradition would only continue to worsen the situation.  And while he himself may not overly care about his own reputation, for the sake of his sister, he had to maintain a certain level of standing.  Whatever it took to keep her happy and safe.  And really, this whole thing was more tedious than unpleasant.  Especially as their honored guests were well past the point of being late.He caught Tierno’s eye from across the hall, who gave him a bright, reassuring smile.  Seeing his closest friend in attendance made things a bit easier, even if they weren’t close enough to talk.  Tierno was stationed with the other knights, positioned beside Lord Wikstrom, the man he was currently training under.  From what Tierno had told him, Lord Wikstrom had been tasked with personally providing protection for the king’s intended while he was visiting, meaning Tierno himself would be getting an up close and personal attendance with the mystery omega.  Not that he had seemed to care past the excitement of being tasked with an important mission by his lord. Tierno didn’t even seem to realize the covetous position he was in, since if all went well, he was guaranteed to both endear himself to their king, as well as secure his position amongst his order.
Trevor was happy for him though.  Despite Tierno’s less than noble heritage, things were looking up for him.  Hopefully whoever the king’s intended was wasn’t the type to cause trouble, so all would go smoothly.  And considering their king’s usual temperament…for the omega’s own sake, he hoped they weren’t a troublemaker as well.  While King Lysandre wasn’t a bad ruler, he had little tolerance for things he deemed unworthy.  A firm and usually just ruler, but not someone he would describe as kind.  Although from how Lord Augustine always talked about the king whenever Trevor would accompany him on field research, perhaps the harshness fell away in private.
There was a firm knock on the door, interrupting Trevor’s private musings, which hopefully was a sign that the honored quests they were awaiting had finally arrived.  The guards stationed nearby pulled the heavy iron doors open, revealing a small group of people who stepped inside.  The cobalt emblem many of them sported clued Trevor in that these were thankfully the people they had all been awaiting.  With how many people there were, it wasn’t immediately apparent who the omega they were all looking for was.  An older gentleman stepped away from the group, approaching the throne and bowing gracefully before their king.
“My apologies, your majesty.  We ran into a bit o’ trouble on the way here, that delayed us,” the man spoke. “Without further ado, may I present his lordship, Prince Calem.”
There was a shift in the audience as everyone leaned in to try and get a good look at the figure who stepped forward. The young man who stopped before their king had a regal beauty about him, dark hair falling just to his shoulders. It was difficult to size up a person by just the way they looked alone, but Trevor got the impression that this omega had a bit of an edge to him. Not somehow to lay about and look pretty beside their king. Someone with a fighter’s edge and a sharp mind. Which considering their king’s value for strength, was perhaps a more suitable match than someone who was simply beautiful. Although the prince was that as well.
“Again, apologies for our delay, your majesty,” the man spoke, although from his tone, he didn’t exactly sound apologetic, a bit of amusement leaking through. “I hope we can both come to a mutual agreement during our time together over these next few weeks.”
The king opened his mouth to say something in reply, but it was at that moment that Trevor noticed the figure that stood a step behind the prince, and whatever the king said went completely unheard by him. The women must have been his personal knight, judging by her placement and the decorated armor and sword she wore. Whereas the prince was beautiful, she was something beyond that.  Stunning and powerful, judging by her strong stance beside her lord. Someone who wouldn’t hesitate to step forward and protect the prince with her life, if the situation arose.
Trevor found himself having to avert his gaze he was so overcome. He didn’t believe in the concept of love at first sight, since how could one love another without knowing them, but for the women before him, he thought he might understand where the idea came from. He certainly felt something deep from simply a brief look at her.
Perhaps it wouldn’t hurt to ask Tierno about her.  While he hadn’t been planning on bothering his friend for details on the prince while he was here, surely Tierno would acquire information about him during his protection of him.  Maybe it wasn’t such a bad idea.  At least to know her name. He had no shot with someone like that, but it never hurt to have the name of the woman he was sure to dream about.

Calem
I've put off talking about this for a long time, but figured it was time to start discussing how my characterization of Calem made him and Lysandre being a thing even possible. Since I realize it's one of the more out there aspects of this AU. I'm going to preface all of this by saying Calem is 17 during the events of XY, which means he's legal as per my personal headcanons for what the age of consent is and when people are considered adults in the Pokemon universe (it varies by region, but it's generally younger in all regions than it is for their real world counterparts.  Age of consent is 14 in Kalos, and Calem would actually be considered a young adult starting his journey, not a teenaged minor).
For some background, out of all the Pokemon games that have come out at this point, XY is the one I like the least. It wouldn't be inaccurate to say I hated it after I finished the game, which was partly fueled by how much praise it initially received. I adored BW and B2W2, and felt XY were a huge step back. I don't dislike it quite as much as I use to, but when I was first coming up with the stories for what happens to the cast of XY, my dislike for the games was still running high. As such, I made the most extreme decisions for this cast, since part of my goal for this AU was I wanted to do something completely different wth each protagonist’s story.
My characterization of Calem became a bit extreme as a result. Essentially, he's a mess before he comes to Kalos. He’s selfish and distant, has few friends (the few he does have being superficial at best), and he's prone to sleeping around, particularly with older men. The reason he ends up moving to Kalos is because he gets involved with a married man, and the fallout from the affair being discovered is bad enough Grace feels she has to move Calem out of the situation (she's much more livid with the guy than she is with Calem, but is upset that he keeps doing these things, and hopes that a complete change in scenery will help Calem).  Using her fame from being a top Rhyhorn racer, she pulls some strings to get things set up with Professor Sycamore that as soon as they arrive in Kalos, Calem will start his Pokemon journey (up to this point, while he doesn't dislike Pokemon, he never bothered to have one of his own.  He'd also never felt any particular urge to travel and was fine just continuing his schooling, lacking any larger goal or dream for the future).  Grace specifically requests that Sycamore try to find a trustworthy group of other young trainers to help Calem start his journey, since maybe if Calem had a support network other than her, it would actually help him.
Calem is extremely unimpressed by the whole thing. He's fine wth the idea of moving (as the fallout from the affair was bad for him as well), but as soon as he's greeted by Shauna and Serena at the beginning of his journey, he knows Grace set him up. Serena is the only one he finds vaguely tolerable at first, but Trevor, Tierno, and Shauna all seem like idiots. All of them seem irritating and boring, but he decides to go along with their whole “best friends starting their journey together” shtick for lack of anything better to do. Plus, there is a part of him that feels bad about Grace having to uproot her life for him, so he figures he'll at least go through the motions of getting along with his “new friends” for her.
He plays a part with all of them, being the hero and friend they want him to be, but really, he couldn't care less. He enjoys battling more than he thought he would and truly does come to adore his Pokemon (they're honestly what starts him down the path of getting his shit together, since he wants to be a good trainer for them), but he still sleeps around with various people he meets on his journey (pretty much anyone up for it, really). He ends up propositioning Lysandre almost immediately after they meet at Sycamore’s lab, since he follows him out as he leaves the lab (Lysandre is basically “his type” and since Calem is shameless, he figures he might as well go for it).  Lysandre is thrown off at first (really Augustine, this is the type of young man you entrust your research to), but since Lysandre isn't exactly the pinnacle of moral high-ground, he goes along with it. Really, it’s only due to Calem’s perceived connection to Sycamore that Lysandre doesn't immediately turn him away.  But if this is someone Sycamore chose, it might be worth getting closer to him to see what's there.
The two exchange contact information afterwards (presumably for a future booty call) and then each go their sperate ways. The events of the game are largely unaltered, the only real difference being that Calem and Lysandre meet up a couple more times than shown in the games to have sex. Where Calem really messes up though is when he calls up Lysandre to ask him if he wants to spend his upcoming heat with him.  While Calem would have probably ended up pregnant, regardless of who he chose, he unknowingly ends up pregnant with Lysandre’s child. By the time Calem finds out, Lysandre has already revealed his true colors concerning Team Flare, so immediately Calem realizes telling him will mean nothing.  As such, he doesn't bother telling Lysandre anything. Lysandre doesn't find out until the final battle, but it really doesn't mean anything to him.  Past decided to keep Calem alive if he wins, it doesn't alter his plans any.

What if Casimir ever met Lysandre's ghost?
I’m honestly not too sure how this scenario would play out.  I’ve actually given a lot of thought to how Casimir would react if he were to somehow meet Lysandre, whether this be an alternate dimension version of him (since there’s dimensional nonsense going on in my verse and this is the most likely way he could meet him), or even if Lysandre was somehow just not dead.  I haven’t given much thought to him meeting his ghost though, largely because I don’t think Lysandre would remain behind as a ghost.  Or if he was a ghost, it would more likely be the vengeful spirit kind, or some sort of shadow creature similar to what Lonan is.  Considering he blew up his base to kill everyone inside, himself included, I don’t think he would hang around as a remorseful spirit that could be talked with.  Thus, his ‘ghost’ would be less him and more his feelings and regrets that were left behind, and then manifested as something else.
But let’s assume he did hang around as a more benign spirit that could be talked with, or someone was able to summon his spirit while Casimir was around.  Casimir’s initial reaction to most of his problems is to run away from them, so he wouldn’t react well to meeting his spirit at first.  In the scenario where it was known there was a spirit hanging around somewhere that could be Lysandre, Casimir would avoid the place, while if his spirit were to be summoned, Casimir would immediately try to leave, since he wouldn’t want to face him.  But his curiosity would eventually win out and he would go back to try and talk with him.
I don’t see there being any kind of resolution between the two of them though, or any heartfelt words exchanged on Lysandre’s part.  Casimir’s main question has always been “why?”  Why did you try to do what you did, what drove you to the point where killing everyone seemed like the only solution.  While public opinion on the matter typically just chalks it up to Lysandre being crazy all along, Casimir has talked about Lysandre quite a bit with Sycamore.  And while Sycamore acknowledges Lysandre’s faults, he still tends to paint a much more positive picture of him.  So Casimir’s always been torn between just who exactly Lysandre was.  Was he a crazed monster who tried to wipe out everyone, or a man who started out with good intentions, but was eventually broken down by all the ugliness he saw in the world.
He’d want to hear Lysandre’s reasoning for why he did what he did, but I still think that, in the end, Casimir wouldn’t find peace from this.  Even if Lysandre’s spirit did try to explain himself to him and not just say he wouldn’t understand anyway, Casimir truly wouldn’t understand Lysandre’s reasoning.  His actions are too extreme, Lysandre doesn’t have a justifiable reason for trying to do what he did.  And while Casimir has always known this, a small part of him wants to believe that maybe Lysandre did have a good reason.  Or that if he were able to meet him, maybe Lysandre would express regret about what he tried to do.  But spirit Lysandre’s main regret is that he failed, and now the world will just continue to deteriorate.
The other reason why I don’t think Casimir meeting Lysandre’s spirit would play out positively is because I don’t think Lysandre would be all that affected by the idea of having a son.  While I haven’t gone into the specifics of Casimir’s conception, basically Calem makes poor decisions on who he sleeps with while he’s traveling around Kalos (he tends to hook up with random people sometimes, and when he sees Lysandre while leaving Sycamore’s lab that first time, he decides to pursue him since he fits his “type.”) Their “relationship” is more of a one-night stand kind of a thing (that happens a couple times but the same basic idea applies).  When Calem’s heat is approaching, he calls up Lysandre to invite him to spend it with him, and while normally Lysandre would turn something like this down (gotta focus on the plan afterall), he decides that as this will likely be the last time to engage in the frivolous pleasure of the current world, he can indulge this one time.
Even though Calem is on birth control, he still ends up getting pregnant with Casimir.  He doesn’t realize this until pretty close to the final showdown with Team Flare, and as Lysandre has shown his true colors by this point, there’s no way Calem’s going to call him to tell him what’s happened.  But since a pregnant omega gives off an obvious scent, during that final battle where Calem faces Lysandre, Lysandre is able to tell that Calem is pregnant. And given the timing, he’s the only logical person who could be the father.  But this still doesn’t cause him to hesitate in completing his plan, all it really does is make him decide to keep Calem and his two friends alive if he wins.  He still tries to kill all of them when he loses.  His goals come first and since he wasn’t bothered by the idea of killing his unborn child, I don’t think he would feel that strongly for Casimir if he were to meet him.  Casimir would simply be a bit of a curiosity.

Tentative design for Casimir, my Nobelprideshipping (Lysandre x Calem) fankid.
Basically the result of a crack pairing I took too seriously, but I liked Casimir enough that I wanted to make him canon in the main Omegaverse timeline, even if Lysandre/Calem isn’t endgame.
His traveling companions are Juri (Clingy!kid) and Kyra (Ironwill!kid).  I consider Fennekin as being Calem’s starter, so given his parentage, Vulpix seemed like an appropriate starter for Casimir, who was gifted to him by Sycamore on his 10th birthday.  Sycamore dotes on the kid, partly due to guilt over failing to save his dear friend all those years ago. Where he failed Lysandre, he hopes to make up for it by looking out for his son.
I imagine it would be hard to get around the fact his father tried to destroy most of the world, so even though he’s never met the man, Casimir has quite the complex about that.  This is one of the main reasons he leaves Kalos as soon as he starts his own Pokemon quest.
