Trying to read Mass Effect fanfic can be so uncomfortable sometimes bc you can tell some parts of the overall lore completely go over ppl's heads and they end up treating species like the batarians as if they are an "evil" race

#Like yea let's ignore the fact that the council fucked them over and they're now struggling with minimal to no support after the alpha relay #No no they're all murderous slavers and terrorists ignore Illium that's Good Slavery :)#Common theme when there's an enemy in a mass effect fic it's highly likely to end up being Batarian Slavers(tm)#anyways I'm a batarian apologist and I hope we get more batarian rep in the next game #mass effect
