#Niina's thoughts on Sleepy Hollow

I read Sleepy Hollow for the first time this month. I'm from Finland, did not grow up with it. I know it is an American classic and all. I did not expect that 90 % of the book is about Ichabod thinking what he is going to eat next. 10% is the spooky horseman and everything else.

The book is great read, esp. before autumn time supper.

In all fairness, I believe the food is a symbol for Crane's gluttony. They did that really well in the old Disney animation, when everything he saw just turned into food.
