Love Live! Sunshine!! Ruby VA Ai Furihata's 1st Photo Book Hits Stores April 20

Publisher Genkosha announced today that 25-year old voice actress Ai Furihata's first photo book "Itoshiki" is set to be released in Japan on April 20, 2019. She is best known as Ruby Kurosawa in the Love Live! Sunshine!! franchise and as a member of its nine-member VA unit Aqours.  

  After graduated from Amusement Media Academy's voice actor course, Furihata made her professional voice actress debut in Allm's online action RPG KIRITIA released in 2014, then was chosen as the voice of Ruby Kurosawa in the following year.

  The theme of the 112-page book is the four seasons in Japan, and its photos were taken by four different photographers for each season: Haruna Kamata (spring), Shoichi Asaoka (summer), Yoshinobu Nenoto (fall), and Suzuka Yamada (winter). Its title "Itoshiki," written in hiragana, literally

means dear in Japanese, but also includes the word "shiki," which means four sesaons. The shooting

sessions were held over one year from the spring 2018 to the winter of 2019.
