Ok, I pissed him off.

Matt and I were just talking the other day until suddenly, he brought something up. “You know, y/n/bsf is kinda cute”. I just looked at him a little confused. “What did you say?” He just looks at me with a weird look. 

“You heard me, she’s just kinda cute”

“Don’t say that Matt, we’re dating” I tell him, chuckling slightly.

His tone gets slightly more aggressive. “I just said she was cute, calm down”. I’m shocked. Why is he getting mad at me over this?

“Don’t tell me to calm down, you’re calling my best friend ‘cute’ and we’re dating, Matt! Do you not see the issue?” He looks angry now. “Y/n stop! You’re being so fucking dramatic!” He says, laughing sarcastically. 

“I’m not being dramatic! Don’t call my best friend cu-“ I get cut off with him screaming in my face, “GOD HOW DO I PUT UP WITH YOU? YOU'RE SO ANNOYING BRO!” My expression drops. Seriously?

“ok sorry” I chuckle nervously. My body language changes and I feel almost numb. I am being dramatic but god, hearing it from your boyfriend is rough. Tears form in my eyes and I just stand there silently. Then finally, his facial expression changes. “O-oh my god baby. Y/n, I'm so sorry. You know I didn’t mea-“ “you didn’t mean it?! you didn’t mean to call my best friend cute and call me dramatic?” My tone is still aggressive as I’m about to cry. He just stands there silently. “I’m gonna go”, I say to his face, walking towards his bedroom door. “No wait!” I ignore him. I walk to the front door, put my shoes on, and leave the house. Suddenly, my tears fall as I walk to my car. I step in my car and just sob for a second until I finally feel like I can drive away.

Silence. Something I don’t get a lot of. I sit there in silence, driving back to my house with tears falling down heavily from my eyes. I can still hear his aggressive and loud tone he gave me. Maybe I am dramatic. No, I’m not… any girl would be mad about that, right?

Incoming call: matt ❤️

I look at my phone and realize that Matt's calling. I just cry harder. I can’t bring myself to answer the call. Everything in me knows exactly what he’s gonna say.

“Baby, I’m sorry. You know I love you so much. I’m sorry for what I said, cmon baby. Forgive me, please?”

The thought of those words makes my stomach hurt. I never wanna hear those words out of his mouth but especially not right now. I keep driving until suddenly, I’m finally home. I immediately get out of my car, unlock the front door, and run to my room. I cry more, god, maybe I am dramatic. 

Incoming call (2): matt ❤️

This man is gonna drive me insane. I now feel obligated to answer it, so I take a deep breath and pick up my phone to answer his stupid call. His first words.

“Baby, I’m sorry.”

His words hit me like a brick. Is he sorry? Or does he just miss me? Even worse, does he miss me? Or does he just miss my body? I stay silent, waiting for him to talk again.

“You know I love you so much.”

Does he? I mean he just called my best friend cute a little while ago. Does he love me? Or does he just want me back to make me sound gullible. He keeps talking,

“I’m sorry for what I said, cmon baby.”

Sorry?! No way he’s “sorry”. He called my best friend cute, called me dramatic, called me annoying, etc. And he’s “sorry”?!  And now he’s calling me baby again. Another tear falls silently as I listen to him speak one more time.

“Forgive me, please?”

I'm numb. What the fuck. Forgive him… for what? I mean in reality, what did he do? But in the same way, what did I do? I’m coming to realize neither of us really did anything wrong in the first place. But I can’t forgive him that easily.

“I can't just forgive you, Matt.” My voice is

shaky, he’s gonna notice i’m crying.

“Baby, are you crying?” His voice changes to concern. I don’t just wanna tell him “yea I

am”. 

“Yes, Matt! Obviously I'm crying! You just yelled at me for just being a little jealous!” I raise my voice and my voice gets slightly shakier.

“Babygirl… I’m sorry. You know I am, baby. Just breathe. Take some deep breaths sweet girl.” God those fucking nicknames. I listen to him and take deep breaths. Suddenly, my brain goes quiet. Why was I even mad at him? 

“I-I’m sorry Matt. I didn’t mean anything I did. I-I love you” His face softens. He grabs my chin softly and kisses me. I kiss back as tears stream from my eyes. He pulls away and wipes my eyes for me.

 “Don’t cry sweetheart… shhhhh it’s okay. I love you so much,”

It’s about to be movie night!!!

The best night when you have literally the funniest people with you

Once everyone figures out what snacks they need and actually sits down

you plop next to Joongie for some secretive snuggles

Yunho is literally dying as he waits for your answer

so Yeosang is really confident about your relationship and loves you a lot 

but he's shy about letting other people know

but when he notices that Jongho has been making extra efforts to be near you lately, he doesn’t take it lightly

he wouldn’t be nervous if Jongho knew you were in a relationship

but since he doesn’t, Yeosang is worried that he might try and make a move on you

Jongho had talked to a couple of the other guys about his infatuation with you

but he had suspected that Yeosang also had a crush on you so he had held off

but the other guys told Jongho to go for it, since they didn't know the truth either

So as Yeosang is watching Jongho talking to you one day, he notices that Jongho’s fingers keep “accidentally” grazing yours

He’s getting angrier as he watches

but he isn’t angry at you or Jongho, just angry with himself for being to scared to say anything

eventually, he musters up some courage and saunters over to you and Jongho and takes your hand

right in front of Jongho’s salad

And Jongho is immediately like “crap” and walks away

and you’re super confused because what in the world am I missing what just happened

But Yeosang just kinda giggles and asks you if you wanna go get lunch

now San I think is one to actually get pretty jealous

like if he sees someone trying anything with you, he’s gonna be big mad right away

But it is much more difficult to get mad when it’s Seonghwa who is after you

San is definitely afraid of coming off as disrespectful to his elder if he tries to step in and stop anything

highkey hopes that you’ll say something so that he won't have to

One day Seonghwa actually comes to San

to talk about you

he’s just rambling on and on about how cute he thinks you are, totally oblivious to San’s irritated expression

San is fuming

eventually he’s gonna snap and be like “LOOK BRO WE’RE DATING”

and Seonghwa is like O.O

then San is apologizing like a mad man because he really didn’t mean for it to come out like that

he just legit couldn’t listen to someone else talk about his girlfriend anymore it was infuriating

Seonghwa’s like “...it’s cool, I get why you’d be mad”

then he assures him that he won’t try anything now that he knows about you two

But he also scolds San for not telling him sooner lmao

When other tall boy, Yunho, also proclaims that you are his ideal type during a revealing round of truth or dare

Suddenly Wooyoung leans over and whispers in his ear

“we are gonna try to get y/n to say she wants dare so she will have to kiss Yunho”

finally, your turn comes around and all the guys start making up excuses as to why you should take a dare

Mingi is smiling again and thats all that matters really and he snuggles you for the rest of the game

Wooyoung is pretty well-attuned to things that happen around you

always watching you out of the corner of his eye like a stalker

it’s just cuz he loves you tho

so he notices Mingi hitting on you pretty much immediately

honestly finds it kind of amusing for a little bit

but then little things come up in his memory

fans saying that he was too short for you and that you’d be better with someone else

gets down on himself really fast thinking about that kind of stuff

still watching you and Mingi talking

the last straw that finally breaks Jongho’s resolve is when he catches San pressing a kiss to the top of your head

San and Wooyoung look at each other like “are you the boyfriend”

They start squealing and demanding details about your relationship

Jongho just smiles to himself as they throw questions at him

then you wake up and slap San on the boob for waking you up and then flick Wooyoung for being noisy too lmao

Ruki: “What did you just say to me Livestock?” his voice is surprisingly calm as he slams his book shut, his eyes never leaving your figure as he places said book on his side table and gets up.

Steadily walking towards you, Ruki runs his hands through your hair before yanking it back roughly. “You better learn to keep that filthy mouth of yours shut before I shut it for you.”

Kou: His eye flashes red as he looks at the girl,

“You really mean that, huh?” His voice growing quieter and darker wirh each word he spoke. All because you refused to help him change he had been mocking you and once you got fed up, you told him off.

“How about,” he gets up from his bed and walks towards you, grabbing your throat and squeezes roughly.

“I make it so you’re pretty mouth never speaks such foul words again.”

Yuma: “Oi! Sow get back here!”

You had made a comment to Yuma that really pissed him off and now you were literally running for your life. You struggled your way through the garden before being shoved to the ground roughly. Pinned down by the weight of the vampire on top of you.

Azusa: He doesn’t actually register what you truly mean until Ruki tells him. Poor baby feels so bad for pissing you off, so he finds you as soon as he can.

Now get ready for some soft warm Richard besitos bbcitaaa ~

First of all i definitely imagine in this scenario that it’s you who is very insistent that you guys spend date night wandering around downtown. Like Richard knows it’s cold as hecky and it’s gonna be rough out there in his pretty boy outfit, but he lets it slide anyway. He likes to do whatever makes u happy aw.

You leave the house and you’re totally prepared, fluffy coat, hat, scarf, back up gloves, the whole deal. Richard would make fun of how much clothes and accessories you have on, but you’d just fire back with “at least im warm, you’re gonna be out there freEZING with all your random accessories- why are you weariNg motorcycle gloVes huH??”

And he’d do his little sly smirk, a little too cocky being like “at least i look good aha” and pose for you. You roll your eyes and he would wrap his arms around your puffy clothed body, planting a firm kiss on your lips. “Let’s go baby,” he’d grab your hand and you’d be on your way.

The streets weren’t as chilly as you thought they’d be, but maybe that was your five layers of clothes speaking for you. Because when you’d pretend not to pay attention for a bit, you could catch Richard shiver a little in your peripheral, his hand feeling shaky in yours. You’d look over at him and he’d immediately stop, trying not to make it obvious that he was definitely wrong earlier and should seriously be wearing a jacket rn.

“Ta’ bien, mi amor?” You nudge him with your shoulder, catching his attention as his teeth chatter the slightest. He plays it off cool. “Ye ye I’m aight, you good baby?” You nod nonchalantly and give him a glare through squinted eyes that tries to tell him you know he ain’t good. He catches on and covers for himself, still not trying to give in to his own fault.

“Well you look kinda cold, you sure you good?” He’s talking fast and starts to ramble. “Mira- there’s that coffee shop you like, how bout we go in and get you un cafecito to warm you up.” You laugh out loud at his ability to cover his own ass by pretending it’s you instead, letting him lead you quickly into the shop. His relief is almost instant, you see his shoulders release the cold tension and relax.

He goes up and orders your usual, and you admire him trying to take care of you even if it’s him who needs it more. He sits next to you in a little booth and almost snuggles himself into your jacket with you. His cold arm brushes against your skin and you snap.

“Richard Camacho you’re freezing.” His eyes go wide as you scold him and start taking off your scarf. He has no time to resist or argue before you wrap the scarf around his neck like an angry mother and attempt to wrap your tiny body around his broad shoulders to warm him. He chuckles and lets it happen, definitely not about to argue about it.

You lift your head up to look at him and his big eyes look back down. “Thanks,” he squeaks out with an almost embarrassed smile. “You’re lucky i came prepared,” is all you say, whipping out your extra gloves and shoving them over his hands. He laughs at the bright cheesy patterns that adorned them and shrugs. He was warm now, how could he complain??

After a lil more warm snuggling in the cafe, you guys get back out and hit the streets. This time each of you with one headphone in, walking shoulder to shoulder, almost wrapped in each other. He presses shuffle on his phone and sweet calm music fills your ears. Your heart is on fire and you kiss his lil nose out of habit. He blushes and that for sure makes him feel a lil warmer too.

You walk on and can’t help but feel like you’re living out a romantic scene in a movie. The lights in the street and across the buildings shimmer and tiny speckles of a slight snow falling crosses their path. The warmth of the coffee in your hands and Richards body squeezing against yours is probably the most soothing feeling you’ve ever felt.

Its one of those moments that you wanna sink into forever, but time passes you up quick. Before you knew it, the twinkle of city lights and the scenery around couldn’t distract you from the intense cold that finally settled down. The chill hits you like a wave and a shiver goes down your whole spine. Richards grip around your waist pulls you in and he talks low in your ear.

“Cmon it’s time to go babe,” you wanna hesitate to stay just a little longer and he senses it. His lips curve up into a sincere smile, it’s soft and makes your insides feel funny. He closes the distance and kisses you good, right there in the middle of the busy sidewalk. His hand is on the small of your back and you have to tippy toe up to him a lil. Drops of wet hit your face from the cold air but the way the scruff on his face brushes by, you warm right back up.

His lips are soft n warm but his nose is cold pressed against yours. He smells like his cologne mixed with something sweet from the coffee shop- cinnamon you’re betting on. You pull away finally and it feels wrong to not have his lips on yours for even a second now.

“We can go home now” you give in and bite your lip to hold back, wanting to taste him one more time here in the middle of the city. You wanted to imagine how crazy you guys looked, outfits and all in the midst of all these beautiful night lights. He watches you think, totally knowing what’s going on in your mind, bc it’s the same exact thing in his too.

And him being him, he’s the one to risk it all. To lift you off the ground in his arms as you squeal with laughter, smothering your face with besitos before he plops you back down, his smile beaming in the night. His hands would cup your face entirely and now that’s the last one. He raises one brow suggestively and nods his head motioning to the car.

Your body feels electric and it takes nothing for you to grab his hand one more time and start bookin it, running as fast as you both could in this cold ass weather, just two dumb kids in love trying to live life as stupidly as possible

Cathedral Tower Defense Game character ideas and stuff so far! I’ve talked about some of these before but I wanna just compile it in summary form, and try and get thinking about more to add. It’d be so cool if I could make it like an early suikoden game where you have the world’s biggest party selection! Or at least have that equivelant but with recruiting shopkeepers and townbuilders and stuff.

So... long post ahoy!

* Protagonist (Sir/Lady/Master Amity) Your selectable renameable main charrie! A badass disabled veteran who lost their family in the war and ended up defending this cathedral town of strangers in order to prevent another tragedy. They’re generally distrusted at the beginning, have a lot of doubts about what philosophy they should take in life, and its up to you to decide how the story plays out. But no matter what, this protagonist is a cool grumpy comically-serious nerd gramp! (or gran or etc) i really REALLY like the idea of changing them to be an older veteran character, it just works so much better and seriously WHY are there like zero grandma protagonists in anything ever? I will vow to make this one as amazing as possible!!

* Florin Generally supportive yet sassy and lazy deutorogonist helper guy. He’s your first ally in this world and maybe kind of a tutorial, lol. Even though he’s a total cinnamon roll, he’s as distrusted as you because he’s a demon. Even the protagonist kinda wonders why on earth he wants to help them, and whether he’s some sort of enemy spy... His elemental realm is over plants, and he has no greater joy than taking a nice nap amoungst the flowers~

* Malachi At the moment the only fully developed idea I have for another party member, aside from Florin. Though I’m not sure if I want him to be optional or mandatory? In either case when you recruit him he’s the catylyst for a lot of character development for Florin, and they end up becoming like a lil adopted family ^_^ Anyway, Mal is a very young and adorable demon child that the party finds sealed away beneath some ruins. Precociously innocent, he seems unaware that he’s become a monster. I mean, everyone eats rocks, right?

* Admiral Chiffon (wip name) A major recurring enemy turned ally! Chiffon starts off as just the eccentric comic relief member of the opposing army, kinda harmless and kinda entertaining. And you might pity her quite a bit, because her coworkers treat her like absolute shit. I basically invented this character because I got sick of seeing the ‘ha ha flambouyant gross comic relief villain’ thing in recent fire emblems, and wondered what it would be like to have a villain whose LGBTQ status is treated as a sympathising aspect instead, leading to a redemption when she finds people who dont treat her like those damn writers treated everyone :P So yeah, she’s a transgender woman who faces a lot of predjudice in her career, and I hope I can make it very heartwarming when she finds true friendship with our heroes! And also I hope it can make the non-comic-relief villains seem extra disgustingly unforgiveable after you see how badly they treat their own teammates. Her personality is gonna be kind of a greedy merchant sort of person, but what if that archetype was a good character instead. She remains sassy and greedy even when she’s been redeemed, i like a good ‘ol vice-filled hero yknow! Character development is my jam! Also all i know about her design so far is that I think I want her to have stylishly skunk striped hair, to represent greying streaks and all. I was imagining her as the token grandma of the cast before I decided to age up the protagonist lol

* Currently unnamed church matron duo, aka Timon And Pumbaa One of my early-ish undeveloped concepts for non-battling town members. These two are florin’s equivelant, they’re the town workers you start off with before the game really starts. I’m thinking they’d be like nuns/priestesses that worked at this place before you came along, and you have a bit of a rivalry here because they pragmatically know they need you to defend the stronghold but they’re also very wary of you. The ‘timon’ one would be the main one who actually holds all these opinions, a sort of crusty matronly mega paranoid lady who thinks you’re gonna backstab us all at any moment! And she’s some sort of super scary chronic sufferer of resting bitch face, even though she sees herself as the ultimate arbiter of justice everyone else thinks she’s terrifying. Just imagine her trying to hug a baby that just cries as if it saw the face of death! Life sucks when you’re a lawful good character stuck in a chaotic evil character design! And then her partner is a funloving pumbaa-esque team chef, who’s actually kinda too loving and innocent to ever distrust anyone. But she always just falls in with whatever her boss says, its like a pinky and the brain situation. Oh and I’m already kinda preemptively shipping these two before I’ve even finished designing them XD

* Depression jail janitor Starts as a prisoner you take from one of the enemy raids, but he ends up winning your trust and joining your team. Entirely against his will! he’s a chronically depressed man who was forcibly drafted into the evil army even though he doesnt believe in their cause, but now he feels like he’s unforgiveable anyway. So he spends all his time trying to convince you that he is indeed pure evil! But the more humble he is, the more everyone believes in his genuine kindness. Alas! It doesnt help that he also kinda has chronic hero syndrome and cant resist helping out in every possible way. So that is how a prisoner ended up becoming the one in charge of the jail keys! And he’s like Everyone’s Dad. (Even the people decades older than him...)

* Former bully powerful friend The one other main child character, cos I wanted Malachi to have some friends. They start off at odds and she initially joins in with everyone bullying him, cos she wants to fit in. But he ends up helping her deal with her insecurities and realise she was only resenting him for being ‘weak’ because she saw herself reflected in him. or rather, the traits in herself she’d tried to hide to make everyone like her, even if it meant joining in with bullying and only having horrible asshole friends. So she sacrifices her popularity with the main clique in order to defend malachi, and ends up finding her first true friend with him. They’re better off being outcasts together! So yeah cutie malachi will have some sort of stronge deliquent friend with a heart of gold, and I’m not sure yet whether she’d be playable or not? i kinda feel like its not right to have someone that young join the party unless they have magic powers to protect them. So maybe she can fight by teaming up with malachi, actually? like, she rides atop his stone dragon golem form and supports with ranged weaponry or something. or just acts as an advisor? I liked the idea I had that there would be a buffs-only type of magic stone, and people could cast it on themselves to have enhanced senses at something or other and improve their supporting skills. Like the protagonist would maybe have an eyesight-enhancing buff crystal to act as a sniper scope!

* Rival warrior buff teen person Very undeveloped cos I just came up with them ysterday, lol! I’m thinking possibly make this character female just cos this archetype doesnt get to be female all that often. Kind of a draco malfoy type snooty rival, but with a more sympathetic side and ultimately you do become friends. Theyre just a simple ordinary citizen who was doing the best they could to protect their family before you came along, and now kinda resents the fact you’re all BETTER THAN EVERYONE and taking their job as guardian! They have a lot of anxieties over the fact they struggled so hard to become self-trained and now you’re here making it look easy. So the plot has a general theme of believing too much in ‘destiny’, and that some people are just born with talent and you’ll never succeed if you werent lucky enough. This character started off trying to act like theyre inherantly blessed with that talent, because they’re terrified that they aren’t... Oh and I think once you befriend them I think they might be like a ryuuji/junpei type of friend? But without the weird sexism and homophobia randomness that persona 4 threw onto yosuke. Just like a bit of a cheerful cliche ‘bro’ who isnt all that interested in books and likes to be all ‘cmon do it for the vine’. A good polar opposite to the protagonist who could have some cute interactions!

* Rival warrior’s chilled out older sibling figure of reasonableness Every rin needs a yukio! I think they’d be maybe a bartender or owner of a restaurant or something? Just some sort of super chilled out job where they act as an agony aunt to their customers, the place is very popular because of the great service. (Though also everyone is kinda like ‘yo you dont have to run it all by yourself, yo you dont need to give us bonus extra special treatment, seriously get some sleep dude!!’) But anyway they’re this perpetually relaxed super kind soul who’s always the reasonable response to their lil sib’s ohohoho angry rivalness. But the bad side to it is that they’re also a lil depressed and apathetic about their own life, they’re kinda like someone who really lives for their family, in a bad way. They’ve been like a single parent to their sibling because they had kind of a tragic backstory, and big sib has just grown too used to sacrificing everything in order to help other people and never taking care of themself. And they have a lot of trouble even.. feeling emotions. The outwardly chilled and happy-go-lucky facade covers up just a void of nothing but self hate and emptiness. They feel like they’d already been tainted by the way their abusive parents used to treat them, its too late for them and all they can do is try and save other people from falling down the same path. Oh, and I think maybe the two siblings are actually immigrants from the villain country? Like, when older sib ran away from the abusive family they ended up here, and now they try and keep it secret, to the point that even the younger sibling doesnt know where they were born. Basically I just wanna have a LOT of different subplots showing how the ordinary citizens of this country aren’t all evil just because their government are the bad guys in this story. And especially covering topics like characters who’re part of that ethnicity and get treated like they’re inherantly terrorists even if they were born and raised in a completely different country!
