Day 7 - First kiss

Only one day to go ! This year NND Week was really fun ♥ It was a lot with the comic but I enjoyed it !

I told myself I wasn't gonna participate because I had too many things to finish...

But I caved this morning, and I made at least one piece for the prompts.

And if I looked at the prompt list right, it's Day 3. Which is Domestic Bliss.

And because it's a challenge/prompt type thing, I used the timelapse thing again. I realized I forgot the flour as it was exporting, so that is not in the timelapse. I caved entirely because this is the idea that came to mind when I saw the prompt list.

Amber- Mom, , what was it like when you got married

Ruby - Well…your mother used to have a bad habit of dying

Penny - It's true. Everyone is a hater

Ruby - And I realized she was the most important person in the world to me, and that I didn't want to spend any more of my life without her knowing

Penny - She said she liked my bow ^^

Amber- So like Aunt Yang

Penny- Things are very gay in the Xiao Long house

Ruby - So I took some of the metal from your sister

Amber- I don't have a ….

Penny- She means Crescent Rose dear

Amber- The scythe ?

Ruby - ANYWAY , a weapon is like a huntresses soul, and I thought it was romantic to give Penny a piece of my soul

Penny- [shows off her hand with the ring] It has been safe with me ever since

Ruby - And I proposed to her on a Moonlit Vacuoan night

Penny- The moon was so bright ! All our friends saw

Ruby - [shakes head]I was so focused on Penny that I didn't see any of them until I heard Yang scream that I was too young for marriage

Nuts N' Dolts Week - Day 6: Future WIP

@nuts-and-dolts-week 2023 may TECHNICALLY be over, but that doesn't mean MY entries are over. The skecthes for days 6 to 8 have been done for a while, but due to work & other life shit, i wasn't able to finish this challenge in time.

But i'm still working on it whenever possible, so here's a sneakpeak for the lineart of Day 6: Future. This + Day 4's linearts are proving to be difficult due to how detailed the art itself is & how thin i have to make the lineart due to the size of said artwork

Penny: Why? Is this not supposed to be a social event?

Ruby: No no, it is! I'm just not great at that stuff. Socialising. Besides, I don't know how to dance in these things. I don't think I fit in here.

Penny: This is unacceptable! This is supposed to be fun! I will ensure you have a fun time!

Ruby: Ah! Penny wait!

*Cue fun ball shenanigans*

Ruby and Penny: Ha ha ha

Ruby: Thank you Penny.

Penny: I'm glad I could make the experience more pleasant for you! Ruby, may I ask for one thing to make the experience more pleasant for me?

Ruby: Of course Penny.

Penny: Will you share a dance with me?

Ruby: Uh sure but I'm still not a great dancer.

Penny: It's ok Ruby! I'm confident we can figure it out together.
