[notes: I’m working on the FORT info files now, so I’ve gone back and fixed some of the map descriptions, and I’ve determined that 如月学園高等科 is best translated as “Kisaragi Academy for Advanced Study”, so I’m going back now to fix that in the profiles. There’s still a distinction between advanced studies and schooling that doesn’t take you on to college, but it’s the more formal name of the entire school, not a division made within the school.]

These are the named character palettes/sprites that appear in the face file: Midou AKiRa, Matsumura AOI, Nagashima AYA, EDWard Steiner, “FOO” Meiling

Tazaki HIRoshi (confirmed him and not Hirooka by viewing palette), Hino HoNOka, INAgaki Shunichi, Tohno KEI, Hoshino KuNIo, MAZ: Arthur Mays, Nozaki MIKa, Kamishiro NAMi, Hidaka NAOto, NRA: NoLA Dobereiner (possibly supposed to be Norah??)

 NaTsuKi Venevskaya, RAY Platiere, RAZzly/Lazuli, Takano Reiji (viewing file as palette confirms it’s him; RE-G would be pronounced Rei-ji)

Yamase RUI, Unami RYOu, Enokida ShIGeru (Shi sound is part of the sa-shi-su-se-so line in Japanese and is often written Si by Japanese native speakers)

Naruse ShiNJi, Yamato TADashi, Saijou AtsUKI, Kamishiro YAYoi, Sakai YuMiKo, Yamase YUI, and Ookura YUZi/Yuuji.

So this might confirm the intended spellings of Foo Meiling, Norah Dobereiner, Razzly Portman, and O[o]kura Yuzi. ...except they don’t seem to have given Foo to the in-house translators, since her name is spelled Fu in-game. And even if REG is a pun on its pronunciation, that doesn’t account for Arthur.... Maze?? 

Then we have...

Okay, well, the characters who weren’t named above are:

Inoue Takuya, Kiryuu Hibiki, Makino Sayuri, Andou Mako, Hamana Katsuhisa, Handa Ai, Kagami Kyousuke, K. Suzu, Lil, Liu Yee, Midou Kenichi, Graham Miller, the cop character with a sprite, Noguchi Kenzou, Tazaki, Kamada Touma, Melody and Mint.

According to my ability to decipher images that look like the above, I can figure out that:

Z01 is Kiryuu Hibiki

Z02 is Graham Miller

Z03 is Tazaki

Z04 is the nameless cop

Z05 is Noguchi Kenzou

Z06 is Hamana Katsuhisa

Z07 is Kagami Kyousuke

Z08 is Kamada Touma

Z09 is Hirooka Tomoyo

Z10 seems to be a scrapped sprite for Mint that ultimately wasn’t used for her lines:

Z13 is Makino Sayuri

Z14 is Midou Kenichi

Z15 is Tsuji Anan

Oddly, Liu Yee doesn’t seem to be present anywhere here. HAHA sorry I missed that RYU is... the highlighted file in the first picture I posted. That’s him in between Ryou and Enokida.

Note after some trial and error if you’re doing this yourself: Use Tinke to ‘Open as...’ a Palette first. THEN open the same file as a Tile (set as 4bpp or 2bpp) and increase the height until you can see the whole thing. That gives you something much easier to interpret. Viewing as a Map will also give you a decent picture of the file, but again, view it as a Palette first. Also, this method is only working for me in the English version of the game.

WOW! This weekend was full of surprises! I got to go to animebluescon and work with h.NAOTO at his booth and fashion show! A few hours before, he decided he wanted the staff to also be in the fashion show (which meant MEEEE!!)

I was super busy the whole time, but getting to do what I love and help people I really admire was so awesome!

There are two new Moi-même-Moitié items for their 20th anniversary. A chiffon stole and a pouch. They are available now online and at KERA SHOP. 

Also available at the stores and websites are two new stretch lace tops. They are very nice and fit up to an American size medium, however the neck is tight when fastened. The tops look fine even with the neck unfastened. The lace is pretty and the cuffs are gorgeous and dramatic.

Mr.Ken Nikai, a Japanese film director and an artist has finished his short movie "PARACELSUS’ HOMUNCULUS".   It was shot in h.NAOTO+Harajuku last year and main cast members wore h.NAOTO items.     We will hold a movie preview and talk show with Mr.Ken Nikai, Takeru from SuG and Naoto Hirooka at h.N GALLERY on May 23. If you buy h.NAOTO items more than 13,000yen in h.NAOTO shops in Tokyo, you can get a ticket of the event. You also get a post card with autograph of Mr.Ken Nikai and Takeru from SuG.
