Been having a wonderfully wholesome family bonding opportunity this week
#star trek#star trek voyager#star trek lower decks#Had a mutual dm me a link to watch Lower Decks online so I got kinda sucked in#My dad's been starting to rewatch Voyager around the same time so I just stuck around and watched it with him#He's been telling me a bunch of random facts about Star Trek too it's so sweet#ALSO APPARENTLY ONE OF MY FAMILY NICKNAMES I'VE HAD ALL MY LIFE COMES FROM FUCKING VOYAGER?????#My parents have been calling me freaking Kess for years and I never knew why until I saw the episode where my (nick)namesake#just ducking evaporates and turns into an energy being.#Had to physically restrain myself from quoting “Drop back into the physical and roll! Drop back into the physical and roll!”#You know from the Lower Decks ascension episode that I assume was referencing that one.#We don't pay for Paramount+ so my dad hasn't seen Lower Decks :(#So yeah learned family lore this week.
