#My biggest fear is miscommunication I promise I'm trying

Ok so I've explained most of this in previous posts/reblogs but ik my blog is not organized so I'll try to be succinct and coherent (masterlist someday? I hope). Ik this post was vague bc I was trying to keep it short and not repeat the same things every day.
yes, imo all of Yuuji's suffering is little compared to Sukuna's (we have to look at his life during the Heian era, and the way that he acts because of it in 2018). Links to this at the end!
The fight with Mahoraga - I'm not saying that this was against his will or a trauma response. Do you feel that it was wrong of him?
Sukuna knew where Megumi was. Other people were hiding away. Sukuna doesn't have the six eyes (though I used to suspect that he did tbh). Shibuya was full of curses, curse users, and transfigured humans. Even if we pretend that Sukuna had some way of being aware of each individual non-sorcerer's location... He had a limited amount of time to defeat Mahoraga. If Sukuna had wasted time luring him away to a 100%, no doubt, secluded area first, Yuuji would have been thrust into that fight, and he was no match for Mahoraga. Sukuna also needed to make sure that Haruta stayed alive until it was over. Megumi would have died if these things were overlooked.
Things that Sukuna did wrong, are killing Nanako and Mimiko - this was a trauma response (and for a long time, I held it against him. Tbh I do still have a lil theory that they're fine, but I'm getting distracted).
I've posted a little about Sukuna becoming the monster, just like Gojo, on the other side of the same coin - there's probably more to elaborate with there, but for now I'll just say that Sukuna becomes the monster in a desperate grasp for his own autonomy.
About Sukuna's first impression - I speculated that was foreshadowing of the merger. He doesn't seem to enjoy killing helpless people, or seeking out a fight.
Ripping out Yuuji's heart - yeah, a desperate grasp for his own autonomy. He tried to talk to Yuuji, but Yuuji ignored him from the beginning. I think that if Yuuji and Sukuna were able to relate to each other, then they could have had a symbiotic relationship like Hana and Angel. Though in defense of Yuuji, Sukuna might have been speaking like an ancient poet, and not making very much sense to him.
I'll add a few links to this, I tend to be lazy w uploading manga panels so I'll find some that go deep with receipts and context. My own blog isn't rly organized, I'll own up to that. Just be aware that these links have links, there is a lot to read, and I love it so much. I love that we can find out about the villain if we just put the details together.
A short summary of Sukuna's life is that he was starving - the way he came into this world, and the way that he left it.
He was deeply alone, his birth was like an affront to God, he was demonized and enslaved and deified and always used as an object.
I know my interpretation of JJK is unconventional, I've been through it so many times and my favorite characters and theories have changed a lot. Yuuji was my first favorite character and I don't think I could ever hate him, I'm just. Unable to shut the fuck up about my thoughts and feelings lmao.
I love this post so much, here is part 1 of Sukuna's loneliness, it goes into his name, trauma, discrimination, etc. It was super enlightening, and of course worth reading the whole series.
Actually, their masterlist has a section of links about Sukuna.
I tend to blame everything on Kenjaku (maybe he didn't hit Rika w his car, but I can't prove that 😤) because I think he really is plotting and responsible, and sukuna feels like his scapegoat. I mean, Gojo scheduled a date to fight Kenjaku, who made Sukuna substitute for him. It seems like the reincarnated sorcerers are coerced and uncomfortable with Kenjaku, but agreed to something for another chance at life. Idk man I'm just rambling now but here's a link to Sukuna's relationship with Kenjaku and the other sorcerers, etc.
@thepersonperson is far more in-depth and coherent and citing sources, their posts take time to read but are so enlightening it's unbelievable.
I've found that most of the time I read or see something and don't get why it's there, that's because I'm missing some cultural or historical significance.
The majority of the hills that I choose to die on, my theories and headcanons can align with the above... Sometimes I know my beliefs are a bit off the rails (mostly that Geto did nothing wrong, and Kenjaku drugged him into saying weird shit w Toji's worm).
I hope this makes some sense, I'm going to post before I get too distracted ok bye
Tumblr pls stop suggesting posts wishing that Sukuna will suffer as much as Yuuji when Sukuna has suffered more than anyone in jujutsu kaisen, I beg (being an unwanted child, a slave, an object, etc).
Maybe I'll go through and make a master post to link the history bc a lot of it is easy to miss (I suck at finding posts on my own blog), you have to be familiar with trauma and history and translations but everything harmful sukuna has done was against his own will or a trauma response. Sukuna is just trying to grasp for his own autonomy. he's constantly being restrained, neglected, and challenged. He doesn't even want to reverse the roles. He exists for leisure like Nanami, he just wants peace. To be left alone. And it's too much to ask for.
And if Yuuji had actually listened to Sukuna (he listens to everyone and matches their energy but not the spirit who is trapped in his body, so it's weirdly out of character) then Yuuji's suffering could have been almost entirely avoided. They could have had a symbiotic relationship.
Kenjaku thanked Yuuji's friend from the occult club for being good to his son - and Yuuji's grandpa saying "you had it too easy". The thing is that for Yuuji to be a functional cage for Sukuna, they couldn't be able to relate to each other. Yuuji spent his life with superhuman strengths, but he blended in. He was never demonized nor deified for his differences. Yuuji was a loner by choice, and he had the freedom to choose his own path. To uninvite himself from school clubs, the strength to beat up bullies that didn't even involve him.
Even the choice to consume Sukuna's finger had to come from Yuuji's own free will - and despite the manipulation that Kenjaku put into this (having Mimiko and Nanako plant it at the school, etc), it was a choice that Yuuji made on his own. He wasn't really coerced into it - Fushiguro told him not to do it. Yuuji consented to sharing his body, whereas Sukuna did not.
it seems like irl Sukuna has a shrine and is remembered as a hero, but regarded more as a criminal by the government. Sounds a lot like Gojo. And if the higher ups were still around a thousand years later, how do you think he would be remembered? Or spoken of in history lessons to sorcerers?
I've already rambled or reblogged everything that I have to say but ughhhhh
Yuuji is the last person who could teach Sukuna about love. He might be capable of a listen-no-jutsu, though it's kind of late for that.

20 and 22 for the ask game?
20. you can only change one plotline in the entire canon—what would it be and how would you alter it?
FUCKKKKK ONLY ONE? hmmm....
I do think there is a part of this question that is phrased strangely, I understand the "only one plotline" thing in theory because it requires you to limit yourself to one decisive answer. But that also kind of implies that the One Plotline you're changing has changes that are all self-contained and ultimately return things to the status quo, which is typically not why I would make a change in plot to begin with. If I'm making one big major change in the plot, typically its going to be something major enough that the rest of the series is affected, which kind of conflicts with how the question is intended...
With that in mind... I mean the easy answer is something Aaron-related, but honestly most of his issues stem from a character standpoint given he rarely ever drives the plot forward meaningfully unless he's literally killing himself lol. There's not a lot of single isolated plot issues for him, I don't know if I could fix him without really going back to the roots and really domino-effect-ing him and how he interacts with the rest of the plot moving forward. sooooo...
If I had to do a more self-contained plotline change, it'd be the circumstances around Garroth's S1 betrayal. Easily.
Judging by how quickly everyone forgives him, the series itself seems to forget that people got hurt, killed, and had years of their life stolen because Garroth got mad that Aphmau maybe romantically liked someone else. It relies on miscommunication and poor characterization to even be executed at all. Eek.
Canonically, one of his biggest weaknesses is that he invests too much into people. He couldn't kill Zenix despite Zenix actively trying to kill him multiple times because of how much time and love there had been between them. Are we really expected to believe he'd betray Aphmau on the off chance she might've done something that could've hurt his feelings? Are you kidding me? This is stupid.
Seeing as how the series treats him as if his motives are already easily forgivable and justified, just changing the motive to be... actually that, keeps the change relatively self-contained here. So! Lets give him a motive that actually makes sense here:
Zane promises the war will be endless unless Garroth gets him what he wants. He's scared of O'khasis' military might and knows what they can do. Lillian is still a method of coercion, mostly as a contact point between him and Zane.
He's trapped in a lose-lose situation, both actions causing Phoenix Drop harm, growing sick and locking himself in his room from fear and indecision. It culminates in his betrayal in the S1 finale, his fear of O'khasis and Garte outweighing his trust in Aphmau and Phoenix Drop. This leads into a much more viable change of heart in the S1 finale, and a much more natural redemption afterwards.
22. who's the character that you most identify with and why?
looks up to my url. looks back at this ask. looks up at my url again. looks at you. looks to my icon. looks to my header. looks to this ask. yeah it's vylad why do you ask.
No but on a serious note, I think it's natural to put pieces of yourself into characters, and with Vylad that comes very naturally to me. He has always fascinated me, even since before we had much confirmed about him (I very vivdly remember trying to talk to people about him being the Elusive Third Sibling of Garroth during S1, only to get VERY confused responses). When he got properly introduced in S2, only to justify basically everything I had ever theorized about him to be right, it was very satisfying lol. I don't think I can fully answer the "why" here without getting very personal, but here's some stuff I feel comfortable sharing!
Green and red are important colors for Vylad, and they're important for me too!! Green has basically always been my favorite color since the dawn of time, although I did go through a strong purple phase when I was younger.
The way he acts and behaves can be very easily read as autistic/otherwise neurodivergent. I saw/still see a lot of my behaviors in him in a way that made him very comforting to me when I was first watching the series in 2015, and still makes him very endearing to me now ^-^
I am a sucker for characters who go through a literal death + transformation afterwards. Big fan of symbolism. Somewhat for transgender reasons personally, but also stuff beyond that.
speaking of transgender: nonbiney :) and while we're at it hes one of the most explicitly lgbt characters we've got. gay people!!!!! woooooo!!!!!!!!!!
we've both got freckles heehee :D
This comic was based off some very personal musings of mine, so much so that I almost didn't post it lol. His strange relationship with not-religion is very important to me.
Weirdly enough though, I'm not a sibling! I very very frequently find myself identifying with characters that have strange sibling relationships, but I'm an only child! I don't know why this keeps happening.

Hi! I'm Nisha and I'd like to request #4 from admin jk please
@gracious-musiclover
Hi Nisha! This is your If You and Jungkook were a couple reading!
Before I jump in, I did just want to mention that before I flipped all the cards over to read them—I did get a strong vibe that Jungkook is definitely the emotional one in this relationship! And I do want to warn you that your reading may have a slightly negative(not the right word but idk how to explain it rn) tone, but I promise you that you’d want to read until the end!!
For you:
So this is really interesting. I pulled the Moon card to represent you overall and then I pulled Taurus and Sagittarius for your energy in the relationship. And I wasn’t surprised when I saw the Taurus mainly because when I was pulling cards for you—the energy felt very clear cut and to the point and I just knew that you were going to have earthy energy lol. Although I pulled a Taurus, I actually keep feeling like you’re potentially a Capricorn tbh hahaha mainly because the energy I felt from your piles remind me of my Capricorn bestie lol. (Feel free to critique me if I’m completely off!) But for sure is interesting because, you are very sensitive, but you have a very strong front. Sometimes Sagittarius energy is though to be very light hearted and free spirited, but the actual vibes that I get is that you’re a hardworking and you’re not afraid to say what is on your mind. Like you’re a blunt person who has a very elegant aura!
For him:
Jungkook is definitely the nurturer in this relationship, which doesn’t mean that you’re not nurturing—no. The feeling I’m getting is that he’s usually always panicked lol. He’s very communicative, talkative, and highly sensitive to everything you say and do. Mainly because, he can’t read you as well as everyone else. I’m chuckling a bit because his energy is literally scream “HELP IM BABY, JUST TELL ME YOU LOVE ME!” (I’ll touch on this on the how he views you part haha) but I can’t emphasize enough that Jungkook is like SO sensitive and emotional in this reading.
How you view him:
Once again, when I was drawing cards for you—I was mildly surprised at how straight to the point it felt lol. But the way you see him is: you view him very highly. You really see him as your partner, someone you can trust and rely on and someone who is wise and ambitious. You see that he rarely asks for help when he needs it. To you, he is so kind and just so loyal. There’s a feeling that you greatly respect Jungkook and love him deeply. But it almost feels like you’re not super big on displays of affections. Like you are a traditional sense of romance where you express it through what you do for him and how you help him. I almost want to say this feels like a noona-lover relationship? Like maybe you’re older and more mature emotionally and mentally. Because you see him as a great father figure or like husband in this relationship.
How he views you:
On the other hand lol, Jungkook is definitely struggling in this relationship—BUT not because he doesn’t love you! My god does he love you. But I’ll start with the rocky info first. (Remember, I told you he was sensitive lol it looks like his cards wanted to rant and complain first!) He feels as if he’s not being heard or listened to. And he feels that there is a lack of verbal communication coming from you. The reason why he feels this way is because he does view you very highly—he thinks your are amazing at communication and that you are so dedicated to the relationship and so intuitive and smart—and he feels that you’re not trying to communicate with him. He also feels like you’re physically distancing yourself and that the relationship needs a break. He fears that you might be eyeing other new potential lovers and so you’re pulling away from him to rethink about the both of your relationship. And he sees that you’re just someone who is ready to dump him because you’re just so amazing and wonderful. You know what you want and what you’re looking for and you’re intelligent and not afraid to make things happen. To him, he sees you as like the perfect mother figure and someone who he really wants to be with.
Obstacles in the relationship:
In case it wasn’t clear enough on Jungkook’s half lol, the boy is INSECURE! Like he’s head over heels and terrified of losing you. The biggest obstacle that you guys will face is definitely finding balance in your relationship (temperance legit flew out and landed face up when I was still shuffling lol). The balance being finding how to communicate with each other on a level that the other would understand. All the cards pulled indicate there are a lot of miscommunication going on in the whole relationship (probably due to the different love languages that you and jungkook have). And due to the miscommunication, it created a lot of self doubt in both of you and it actually does bring you both to question if the relationship will last. And the biggest fear is a new beginning for you both.
Overall relationship:
BUTTTTT. Y’all will last. Both of you started the relationship very shaky and neither of you two were satisfied with the relationship. But there was a change and you both did find the balance! And you both worked harder and fell even more in love with each other. The communication between you both blossomed beyond belief—like completely 180 and it really brought you two both so much closer and pushed you two in a new direction. Both of you will have found that your individual wishes were both granted and the lessons that you both have learned will have bound you both even closer to each other moving forwards.
//
I just want to say that this reading was SO realistic and I actually really related to your reading on so many levels. I was really surprised and I hope that it resonates for you! If it doesn’t, please feel free to let me know and give me critiques too 🥺🥺
Thank you so much for your patience and I hope you liked your reading!
Much love~
