The way he never took her seriously when she said the mouthwash cancels any desinfectant, even tho she still knows more about medicine than him due to her being a nurse alone. The rape didn't fucking happen just because Curly didn't have the guts to get mad at him, he is a fucking mysoginistic piss baby.

If me reminding Jimmy is the villain means I'm somehow being a Curly apologist here, then I'm sorry, but at least I'm not the one taking accountability away from a rapist.

Curly is in the wrong. He did wrong for not doing anything. He did let the crash happen. He refused to acknowledge how dangerous Jimmy may be despite being aware of the red flags (the birthday scene) simply because he chose to believe in the "good" instead of the "bad." There's a reason why we still play the game from his POV. Fuck I'm even almost willing to call him an antagonist even given the intentions behind the game. But he isn't fucking Jimmy. He isn't the main character in this story about horrible men refusing to aknowledge bad and evil. We don't play most of the game from his pov as much as Jimmy for a reason. The reason being that as bad as Curly maybe for not aknowledging how bad Jimmy is. Jimmy is still responsible for his own sin. He is still the one who refused to see the bad parts in him and thus let himself. That is the difference between him and Swansea, btw. Swansea saw himself for what he was and tried to improve as miserable as it made him.

But none of you wamt to fucking aknowledge that shit regarding Jimmy. Because Jimmy can't be aknoweldge as anything but a fucking card board with no depth. Because you Twitter braiwash idiots have genuinely started to think that the less serious you are "discussing" serious topics like rape the more morally correct you fucking are. As if any in-depth discussion regarding things that are considered morally reprehensible somehow is synonimpus with "nuance." It makes me sick. Rape isn't something you can just toss away like this by just shoveling into a box for you to not care. Rape is an actually devastating thing. It's something to be taken seriously.
