Today's airbrushed style pinup photo features Gelsey in this tropical salute to P-51 Mustang. As Gelsey walks through the USAAF base, her vibrant Hawaiian attire turned heads faster than the roar of P-51 Mustangs overhead, making her the most dazzling sight on the tarmac. With each flutter of her skirt, she left behind a trail of envious glances from the pilots, who couldn't decide whether to fly or follow her.

💙💛 Russian military bloggers report that today's attack on temporarily occupied Crimea was with the use of 4 Storm Shadow cruise missiles fired from a Ukrainian Su-24 bomber.

Three missiles attacked the ammunition warehouse in Vil'ne (Vesoloye airstrip) and one missile attacked the repair base of military equipment in Novostepove. All rockets hit the target.

Jason Everman Jason Everman is a musician and former member of the bands Nirvana and Soundgarden. He was born on August 16, 1967, in Kodiak, Alaska, USA. Everman was a guitarist for Nirvana in 1989 and played on their debut album "Bleach". However, he was kicked out of the band before the release of their breakthrough album "Nevermind" due to personality clashes with the other members. After leaving Nirvana, Everman briefly played with Soundgarden before leaving music altogether and enlisting in the United States Army in 1994. He served as a member of the Army Rangers and later in Special Forces. After his military service, Everman earned a Bachelor's degree in philosophy from Columbia University in 2008. The Fascinating History of the Avro Canada VZ-9 Avrocar

The Avro Canada VZ-9 Avrocar is a unique piece of aviation history. Developed in the 1950s by Avro Canada, this experimental VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft was designed to explore the potential of disk-shaped flying machines. The Avrocar was part of a secret U.S. military project during the Cold War, aiming to create a high-speed, high-altitude fighter aircraft. Despite its ambitious goals, the project faced numerous technical challenges and was eventually canceled in 1961.

The Avrocar’s design featured a circular shape, resembling a flying saucer, and was intended to utilize the Coandă effect for lift and thrust. Although it never achieved operational status, the Avrocar remains a fascinating example of innovative aerospace engineering.
