Every time I see a 'Tara cheats on Willow with Buffy' scenario:
Which is a surprising bit, I just think that if you want Dark Willow to have an entirely valid axe to grind and to be pushed with the straw that breaks the camel's back in Season 4 or 5 that's exactly how you'd get it. Willow forgave Tara pretty swiftly for the events of Family......because in the end there was no literally smacking her in the trauma button with a sledgehammer. This scenario, after the way things ended with Oz, would 100% be that.
Though if I wrote it, it'd be the same casual 'secrets for me, transparency for thee' standard Tara kept up and biting her and Willow just shrugs, moves to L.A. and stays there quite happily and leaves the Scoobies to themselves in Season 4 and avoids the whole Dark Willow thing entirely while being drawn into everything with Angel Investigations instead thinking she was out but whoopsie.
Since it's also Willow I see her doing this in radio silence and deciding to repay the same treatment with compound interest and one fine day her friends just realize she didn't show up for a while and then she's in Los Angeles doing her own thing and leaving people to the mess they made in Sunnydale. Would it be an entirely rational response? No. This would reopen old wounds with someone who really didn't handle them well in the first place and as Willow gains the power to do increasingly greater damage without the Hellmouth to screw with her magic, she'd have no real reasons to go back to Sunnydale at all.
Doesn't mean the Scoobies would just sit back and accept this or that either Buffy or Tara would admit that maybe it was playing with fire to do this in the first place given canonically Buffy has the self perception of a rock and Tara at multiple points is a shameless hypocrite, though her own bad actions never went to 'destroy the world in a suicidal spasm' levels as Willow's did.
