She probably concerned about that nosebleed, but she is RIGHT THERE for this moment for him, and for ME, because she had him self conscious about his powers (accidentally, but meaningfully), and now he gets to look right at her and feel just as valuable as he thinks his friends are.

Now. Maya kinda is jumping to conclusions. Cow over the moon conclusions...

We don't know enough about Eleni to know whether or not Maya's theory is valid, but to me, I really doubt it. Like. I guess there could have been forshadowing that she would go against the family by her not listening to her parents and by befriending and getting tricked by the Lord of Shadows, but Maya really don't have nothing but that to potentially base this idea on. How you know she not held captive or something? These darkbringers be ruthless. Or even a mind control thing where she got deceived.

It just feels harsh for Maya to assume this about this girl who is presumed dead by her whole family and the whole world. I'm with Eli too. I know people go bad, but Elleguá seems like a good parent and Idk what would provoke his child to turn on him.

Now that umm... fairy commander bitch? She turned on family, and from how he was talking to her, I bet she was related to his wife. Because the accusations sounded real personal. But that half sis AND a potential other relative turned on the family would be a lot for me to take.

Chapter 23 was good compensation for the attacks on me that occured in Chapter 22.
