The way I’m making a playlist to make a fake KARMA (Nico’s band) album so I can make Maya art about a fake YouTube channel dedicated to album reactions and also making seb to react to karma too. Shhshshs

bruce wayne -> phoenix wright (honestly the inspiration for this came from a post about how from an outsider’s perspective phoenix seems like a crazy prepared genius but when you’re playing as him you know he’s just bullshitting his way through life and i thought tht that’s how batman should be)

talia al ghul -> miles edgeworth (why not harvey? in all honesty i didn’t realize a district attorney was a prosecutor at first but by the time i figured that out i decided talia worked better for his character anyway)

ra’s al ghul -> manfred von karma (gregory is talia’s mom whose name i forget, assuming she has a canon name anyway)

i haven’t decided who’s maya but i’m considering duke thomas or zatanna zatara (in the second scenario zach would definitely be pearl)

harvey bullock -> dick gumshoe (just seemed most obvious tbh)

damian wayne -> franziska von karma

i want to say harvey dent/two-face -> diego armando/godot but i’m not 100% on that

barbara gordon -> ema skye (i guess this makes jim lana?)

tim drake -> apollo justice (short king, unhinged and Just Some Guy at the same time, sarcastic bitch, it all fits)

dick grayson -> trucy wright (i reserve the right to mess with the ages as i see fit. i think i’m keeping him as an acrobat but i might make the graysons magicians if i deem it necessary)

conner kent -> klavier gavin (yeah that’s right baby. i think match will be kristoph but who knows. also the gavinners are the ravers instead and byron stark is daryan solely because he’s the raver i find most interesting)

tommy elliot -> pal meraktis because i thought that would be funny

harper row -> athena cykes (honestly it kinda just goes as far as girl associated with technology whose mother was mysteriously murdered when they were young)

jason todd -> simon blackquill (this made more and more sense the more i thought about it. formerly polite young men but became jaded from trauma and hardship. still compassionate and kind underneath despite everything. extremely dramatic. rude. strong honor code despite the Scary Criminal persona they uphold. fucks with people for fun. names their pet after the species they are. the white streak. literally willing to lay down their life for the sake of others. likes blades)

debating making natalia knight/nocturna -> aura blackquill but idk

stephanie brown -> kay faraday (it's cluemaster instead of yatagarasu, and in this universe arthur was like. a decent dad. i think i might make the riddler tyrell badd because cmon thats amazing)

"Okay, wow-" Maya's jaw looked almost unhinged from how open it was. "Oh my god- It's so...spacious. Like, really spacious. Can we really- Oh my GOD- It even has a walk in closet! Oh my g-"

Franziska's forced cough was enough to snap the spirit medium out of her shock for a moment. Though, a soft grin appeared on her face a moment after. "You're really this infatuated with just the bedroom? There's a whole house here, you know."

"I know! But- Jeez, Franzy! How are we gonna afford all this? I mean, Nick doesn't even pay me and I don't have any other job that I can really qualify for, well, I guess I could try and find a part-time job but I don't know what I'd do and I could end up being really ba-"

"Maya." The prosecutor shook her head, sighing. "You don't need to worry about the payment. I can handle it for you."

"But Franzy! I want to help pay for it-" Maya was once again interjected, but this time with a kiss from her girlfriend. Her face flushed a peachy color.

"Like I said, you needn't worry," a smile tugged on her lips. With a bit of cheekiness, Franziska added, "Stealing from poor fools isn't very interesting, anyways."

"Fran!" Maya pouted, but couldn't help a giggle or two. "I'm not poor nor a fool!"

"Oh? Then what are you?"

"I'm, ummm..."

Franziska's smug grin widened and Maya frowned back at her.

"Oh! I got it!" Maya suddenly exclaimed, slamming her fist into her palm. "I'm Franziska von Karma's girlfriend!" she shouted maybe a little too loud.

"Gah- Maya!" It seemed it was Fran's turn to be flustered, her face reddening. "Don't say that so foolishly loudly, you foolish fool! We haven't even begun to tell anyone that we're..."

"Oh, sorry, I just felt like yelling that. It felt right," the spirit medium's response was almost too composed for such an embarrassing sentiment. "Y'know...it's the truth. I'm only making it louder."

"You...!" the prosecutor crossed her arms. "You're insufferable...What if someone had heard?"

"This is our house, Frannie! Who would've heard?"

Franziska couldn't argue with that. She sighed. "Still, I'd...rather not have people know. Not yet," she murmured.

"But we've been dating for almost two years now! We have to tell everyone sometime!" Maya frowned. "It's been hard enough for me to have to keep lying to Nick and Pearly...They're just so insistent! And they're like...my family! I don't like lying to my family!"

"I know, liebling, I know," she soothed in slight German tongue, going to grasp her girlfriend's hand. "Lying to my brother isn't something I find easy either, but...I'm worried. I don't want them to have a negative reaction."

"Fran, Nick and Edgeworth are gay!" the slightly shorter spirit girl threw her arms in the air in exasperation. "They're dating, everyone knows, and they reacted fine! I doubt that they'll be any different towards us." After a moment, she added, "And since we're living together, we'll have to tell them soon, anyways."

"I...suppose."

"I don't get why you're so hesitant, but... if it makes you feel better, we can keep quiet about it. Just for a little longer."

The prosecutor mumbled a quiet thanks. 

"Okay! Now let's go check out the kitchen!"
