Concept photos and clip

JM's first concept photos dropped, and what can you say? The man is 🔥🔥

Walking in the Smeraldo flowers garden.

Same belt?

The minute I saw this photo it felt a little familiar.

And then it hit me.

JK's 2D shoot.

Now, I'm no photography expert, but it looks like the same kind of slow exposure technique is used for this photo.

And then we have this:

How far will you go for love

To the moon?

To tell the whole world that you want that one person you love, even if your love may be considered as wrong or ugly to some?

To enlist together, being the first idols EVER to do so?

I guess pretty far.

Yeah yeah, I know not everything is about Jikook. This is JM's album, JM's photo concept, JM's creation. And yes, not everything is about them as a couple. There is definitley plenty that isn't. But with saying that, we have seen, time and time again, referencing, coding and mirroring of one another. Not everything is about them as a couple, but yet, I do believe that some of it is.

And then we have this next photo.

Now really?

If you are sitting there and denying the second you saw the tie you didn't envision this:

then you are lying. Either out right or to yourself.

The tie, the crop top. Even the pose with the shoulder tilt and the lifting of the chin gaze looking down.

Reminds me of someone else that had some mirroring going on and was called a copycat and so much more and worse.

I can assure you that was one among many photos taken in that shoot, and yet, that was the photo chosen by JM.

Third photo.

Besides the fact that JM is beautiful, no need to even state the obvious, we get a few more details from this photo.

First we get the 13 on his cheek.

In the Face shoots he had the studs/thorns and scar under his eye, and now he's proudly wearing the number 13, a number that means so much to him that he has it permanently tattooed on his arm.

His nail art.

In the teaser clip we had the crescent (probably right hand) and now we get two parallel lines. An equal sign perhaps?

We also have a little bit more sharing going on.

I guess Jikook do love to share their outfits and accessories when it comes to these solo shoots specifically.

Another coincidence? I think we are way past the point of believing that it is.

We have shared belts.

Same pants.

Different parts of the same outfit.

Same singlet.

Same necklace.

We also got this message:

I find a few things curious with this one.

First of all, using the terms "boy" and "beautiful".

JM being an almost 30 yo man choosing the work boy is a little strange here, and knowing that every single thing he does is done with thought, just like the use of the non binary singer emoji for the 30 minute reminder or the tteokbokkibyjk.

And what about the use of the term beautiful, a term usually used as an expression of feminine good looks rather than masculine (not by me, btw, but by many).

Another curious thing I found was the dialogue, and more so, the question asked by JM: "Is that how you see me?!"

Question mark exclamation mark.

Is he asking us if we see him as a boy? Is it about age or gender? If we see him as beautiful? Is this about me overthinking? 🤣🤣

And then we have the clip:

So, JM in the dark, looking away from us.

Then the place lightens up and the camera goes into a close up of JM's face, and he's looking into the camera, or at us.

He's literally looking into my soul.

What to expect?

With JM I think we have gotten used to expecting the unexpected, in the very best way possible.

Sorry but I will only be trusting Jimin and JIMIN ONLY when it comes to explaining what HIS music is about.

As much as I somewhat "appreciate" Jin, I still haven't forgotten the way he lied about "not knowing Like Crazy" during the fanmeet or how he "only heard Seven before it". When HE was the same dude who kept commenting and congratulating Jimin during FACE era and even wrote to him on weverse demanding that Jimin send him a signed copy of FACE, during the SAME two weeks after "Like Crazy" achieved the Historic #01 on BBHot100 with the very caption starting with "Hey, Mr. Billboard Number One Singer--".

Like come on, man who you trying to fool here?

Smeraldo Garden Marching Band

Is it pronounced Smeh-rall-doe or Smar-all-doe? Or even Smarl-doe?

Ngl, soon as I saw kids in the MV I knew there would be no sexy in it... (me is a thirsty ho after all)... but Jiminie can't help being Jiminie in all his glory anyway.

My very first impression was that it was NOT what I was expecting but when is it ever? Never. So now that I'm past that....

There's not enough skin, Jimin (slaps down my inner thirsty ho...go away, its not time).

Jimin is singing live in the MV which is 3:46, the song itself is 3 minutes. He had a point to make and he made it clearly with a live vocal performance MV.

This song is very light, fun, romantic, flowers, butterflies, and Jimin playing Mr. Matchmaker... which I found interesting... after he sang the lyrics:

As I write this, the SGMB MV is trending at #11 on Youtube for music.

And there's this:

Yes, you read that right... 2.38 MILLION posts.

I wonder what went down in the barracks when the song and mv dropped. I just wonder what element JK latched on to and is endlessly repeating it every spare moment while waiting for the vat of tteokbokki to simmer.

I saw the ratings review for it produced an "ineligible" result. There's nothing that seems like it would keep it from being shown anywhere, its so squeaky clean. Not sure what happened for the ratings to fail.

I love this reference to Jimin's Serendipity stage:

He had said last year that when he was making the songs for Face, he had some difficulty dredging up the feelings he had that inspired some of those songs. He also said he was past all of that depressing stuff. And now we know he was working on this song and Closer Than This, amongst others, while simultaneously working on Face.

His outlook was positive and he was moving forward. What else happened last year? He and Jungkook were able to spend some time creating something together (that we've yet to see) before enlisting together. Something fun they said! I can't wait! They were so happy. They see their freedom at the end of the tunnel. I see it too.

Anyway, I love his happiness in the music he's creating. That's all that matters to me.

The all kills are happening, the #1's are happening, the dance challenges are dropping, the media is talking, trends are trending, let's keep it up for Jimin!

Smeraldo Garden Marching Band is sunshine in a song. Its extremely cutiepatootieness is all because of the beauty that is Park Jimin. The call backs to the little universes he's inhabited and is now free from. A dream of a flower that DID bloom.

His happiness is addictive. His soul captivates you and never let's you go. He said so.

I don’t know how to properly explain this but Jimin is giving me Mayufu vibes in this concept.

If you ever watched GIVEN, remember that first time Mafuyu was able to PROPERLY sing?

That explosion of power and emotion? I have a feeling that something similar is about to happen. This whole concept has such a “I’ve got something to say” vibe all over.

I’m hella excited for WHO NGL.

Ex-stream-ly Important Pep Talk

We seem to be battling streaming fatigue this week. Numbers have been dropping off significantly. So if you need some inspiration to keep going for the coming month know that at current rates on Spotify:

Who will reach 400 million within a week

Muse will reach 1 billion within two weeks

SGMB will reach 200 million and Be Mine will reach 100 million in September.

Obviously this only works if we can maintain the streaming energy of the last few weeks. It would be nice to have some good news for Jimin by the time Jimtober comes around.

JM MUSE Setlist

Setlist landed. And what an interesting oh so like JM way to build up to the release.

So JM to have his IMBT as CUTE.

And we know who thinks JM embodies that wholeheartedly, don't we?

And the "JM's most recent favourite food" being TTEOKBOKKIBYJK. Couldn't stop laughing at that one. JM you minx. And the fact that BYJK could have easily been left out without any impact to the crossword.

A choice.

Once again.

One of many those two make time and time again.

We are getting a collab with Loco (for Smeraldo marching band) and featuring Sofia Carson (for Slow dance).

Also, Jon Bellion, who took part in the producing of JK's Seven and SNTY is also listed as one of the producers for JM's Who.

Makes me wonder if JM's English studies had anything to do with maybe a couple of songs in English in this album... perhaps Who and Slow dance.

Again, we will wait and see.

Oh oh oh.... remember me talking about the use of mint green and the meaning of it...

Rebirth, renewal... JM rising from the ashes (end of SMF2) white clothes, start of something new.

I just love his mind.

As did I say in my previous post, we are all in the dark here and so am I, Album not landed yet, songs not released, lyrics, MV, even concept photos not out just yet.

And yet, there is something in the air, isn't there?

Messages unfolding.

Some as clear as day,

some not just yet.

I love this.

I love JM.

I love his mind.

I cannot wait for 19 July 2024 (and before that for our first song release - Smeraldo marching band - in a weeks time).

Oh, I do have thoughts about Smeraldo marching band, the connection to TTU. Will wait until the song drops to see just where those take us.
