I love that Bellamy genuinely seems to know the name of every kid in the camp

god can you imagine if the kids came down and there genuinely wasn’t anyone on the ground? I mean, it shapes their whole experience so much, and I can’t even imagine how things would have gone...with the delinquents on the ground...with those up on the Ark...if the Grounders weren’t there as a threat

I will forever love how the people on the Ark are like ‘we have to all split up in separate stations so that important people don’t all get killed’ and yet Kane and Abby suspiciously end up sitting right next to each other and they keep giving each other ~significant glances~ like srsly guys could you be a little less obviously In Love

god Kane trying so hard to sacrifice himself to save everyone else and Abby looking at him like she’s never seen him before and desperately trying to come up with a way to not make this happen and this WHOLE SCENE MAKES ME SO EMOTIONAL

“You’ll see your daughter soon. And I’ll see my son.” wow imagine if Jaha didn’t actually make it off the Ark and genuinely sacrificed himself as planned, how much would we love him as a character? How fondly would we remember him? It’s so like...fascinating but endlessly tragic that Thelonius Jaha just lived too long, because this was his moment and he should have died up there on the Ark in a noble sacrifice to save his people, but instead he ended up on the ground where he had no right to be, and he got so warped and twisted and turned into someone who almost destroyed the people he had sworn to protect and he basically became everything he hated and it’s so sad because he was genuinely someone who only wanted what was best for his people and yet little did he know that the best thing he could do for them was really to die up there in space to save them, because his life caused more harm than good in the end

and Jaha sitting there alone, in the cold dark station hundreds of miles from the rest of his people, finally getting to rest after having done his duty and saved them all..if only it had ended there....

the soundtrack to season one is fucking amazing by the way
