personal character design headcanons + brainrot
Note: the re-bound!au does NOT belong to me, it belongs to @chipper-smol I’m just not normal about it lol
#I SAY PERSONAL BC ITS MY OWN SPIN ON IT. NOT CHIPPERS CANON UNLESS THEY DECIDE TO OR NOT YOU HEAR ME /LH#I made a banner and everything this time. PLWEASE send them your questions not me JAJFHDSF#I thought it would be cool if macaque has two separate forms as a shadow and inside a mindscape. like I wanted his shadow form to reflect#him in his prime and then the mindscape form as what he looked like when he died. or a more vulnerable state at least#based on LBD appearing to MK as the ivory lady when she died in the S3 special. I don’t know exactly what it was but my first thought seein#the white void was she was appearing to MK in his mindscape to talk to him. so I built on that#I wanted to give him a more ‘Smokey’ look as a shadow just based on how he manipulates them in the show like in shadow play. I hope this#makes it look cool and immaterial. and then his mindscape form would be more battered up and tangible#the last couple images are chippers ideas though since they said the monkeys are drawn to MK when macaque is possessing him lol#and the fact that macaque doesn’t have any senses unless he’s possessing someone + literally sniffing out wukong in the scroll 🤨📸#I also have a vivid image of macaque moving from the mindscape to physical form like umm. kind of like when he passes the boundary between#physical and spirit/mind(?) it’s like the shadow covers him like ink. or pulling Saran Wrap over your face and it clings to your skin#so it kind of makes the shadow seem like a sort of shell or covering.. and I love the idea of MK meeting macaque in the mindscape for the#first time too. like the moment mac rescues him from LBD and MK sees him all battered and tired looking brooooooo#I’m not even sure if that would count as a mindscape but it rattles around in my brain like loose marbles#god I fucking love this au. gives me imagination fuel swear to god#my art#doodles#lmk#Lego Monkie kid#Monkie kid#lmk au#re-bound!au#rebound au#lmk sun wukong#lmk swk#lmk macaque#lmk six eared macaque#lmk mk#lmk xiaotian

Is Six Ears an Aspect of Sun Wukong?
I've seen some people claim that Six Ears is not an aspect of Sun Wukong's mind. They either ignore the references to "one mind" and "two Minds" (and the Buddhist philosophy behind them), or they just say it's allegory and nothing more. Well, there are actually internal story details from chapter 58 that support the close connection between the Monkey King and his doppelganger.
1) The Bodhisattva Guanyin and her “eyes of wisdom” (huiyan, 慧眼) can’t tell them apart:
The various deities and the Bodhisattva stared at the two for a long time, but none could tell them apart (Wu & Yu, 2012, vol. 3, p. 106). 眾諸天與菩薩都看良久,莫想能認。 [And later:] Pressing his palms together, our Buddha said, “Guanyin, the Honored One, can you tell which is the true Pilgrim and which is the false one?” “They came to your disciple’s humble region the other day,” replied the Bodhisattva, “but I truly could not distinguish between them …” (Wu & Yu, 2012, vol. 3, p. 114). 我佛合掌道:「觀音尊者,你看那兩個行者,誰是真假?」菩薩道:「前日在弟子荒境,委不能辨 …
2) The tight-fillet spell works on both Monkeys:
Asking Moksa and Goodly Wealth [a.k.a. Red Boy] to approach her, the Bodhisattva whispered to them this instruction: “Each of you take hold of one of them firmly, and let me start reciting in secret the Tight-Fillet Spell. The one whose head hurts is the real monkey; the one who has no pain is specious.” Indeed, the two disciples took hold of the two Pilgrims as the Bodhisattva recited in silence the magic words. At once the two of them gripped their heads and rolled on the ground, both screaming, “Don’t recite! Don’t recite!” The Bodhisattva stopped her recital … (Wu & Yu, 2012, vol. 3, p. 106).
(If someone disagrees with this one, they need to show where it says Six Ears is faking the pain.)
3) Both the Jade Emperor and the imp-reflecting mirror can’t tell them apart:
Issuing a decree at once to summon Devariija Li, the Pagoda-Bearer, the Jade Emperor commanded: “Let us look at those two fellows through the imp-reflecting mirror, so that the false may perish and the true endure.” The devaraja took out the mirror immediately and asked the Jade Emperor to watch with the various celestial deities. What appeared in the mirror were two reflections of Sun Wukong: there was not the slightest difference between their golden fillets, their clothing, and even their hair. Since the Jade Emperor found it impossible to distinguish them, he ordered them chased out of the hall (Wu & Yu, 2012, vol. 3, pp. 107-108).
4) Only omniscient beings like Investigative Hearing (Ksitigargbha's mount) and the Buddha can tell the two apart:
[T]he Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha said, “Wait a moment! Wait a moment! Let me ask Investigative Hearing to listen for you.” That Investigative Hearing, you see, happens to be a beast that usually lies beneath the desk of Ksitigarbha. When he crouches on the ground, he can in an instant perceive the true and the false, the virtuous and the wicked among all short-haired creatures, scaly creatures, hairy creatures, winged creatures, and crawling creatures, and among all the celestial immortals, the earthly immortals, the divine immortals, the human immortals, and the spirit immortals resident in all the cave Heavens and blessed lands in the various shrines, rivers, and mountains of the Four Great Continents. In obedience, therefore, to the command of Ksitigarbha, the beast prostrated himself in the courtyard of the Hall of Darkness, and in a little while, he raised his head to say to his master, “I have the name of the fiend …” (Wu & Yu, 2012, vol. 3, p. 112) … [...] Smiling, Tathagata said, “Though all of you [Guanyin] possess vast dharma power and are able to observe the events of the whole universe, you cannot know all the things therein, nor do you have the knowledge of all the species” (Wu & Yu, 2012, vol. 3, p. 114). 如來笑道:「汝等法力廣大,只能普閱周天之事,不能遍識周天之物,亦不能廣會周天之種類也。」 […] [After the Buddha explains the ten categories of life and the four types of celestial primates (see the introduction here), he says:] As I see the matter, that specious Wukong must be a six-eared macaque … (Wu & Yu, 2012, vol. 3, p. 115). 我觀悟空乃六耳獼猴也 …
In short, the twin monkeys are so hard to tell apart simply because they are representations of the true and illusionary minds (refer back to the article) within the same person.
So what does this say about Shadowpeach? I know LMK is a separate entity from the novel, but applying canon to this ship would make it more self-love, right? I'm sure those with creatively perverted minds know what I'm taking about.

Mm, Chaos and Order is actually what Yin-Yang is about. What ShadowPeach does that remind you of. The symbol has also been drawn with two serpents before.
i’d say pre-jttw shadowpeach had Wukong leaning towards chaos with Macky pulling in order (or at least some critical thinking behind his actions) but present shadowpeach has them in reverse in s1-3
by season 4 & 5, i wouldn’t really place either monkey in the chaos or order box because both seemed to find some common ground and they aren’t the same people they were pre- and post-jttw. they’ve grown and processed their shit (Macky is a lot more mellowed our after s3 and i think that’s truly bc he’s no longer in survival mode or have to worry about LBD) and it’s almost like they’ve reached a dynamic that could be viewed as similar to where they used to be, but it’s also so different
they’re in a blended kind of dynamic where neither pair is exactly the ying or yang/order or chaos. but of course, s5 ends with Macky gaining a new power up that resembles Nines’ chaos magic and Sun Wukong is, technically, a celestial monkey with OP powers of strength, transformation, and magic. Macky and swk are both clever and cunning but swk is more robust and loud unlike Macky
they’re very complementary with each other but not so much that lmk’s shadowpeach would be each other’s ying and yang. maybe their og jttw characters 🧐
#idk if i worded this right#but what i was trying to say was that i personally wouldn’t place shadowpeach with the ying/yang thing#they’re too interconnected#‘but fluffy is the ying/yang not also interconnected?’ yes but more in like the vast vacuum of space x our earth’s atmosphere#that’s how i see at least and also i think the ying/yang fits MK a lot better than shadowpeach#sort of like how MK doesn’t fit the hero/Warrior label 100% ya know?#shadowpeach has the sun/moon that is not truly a chaos/order#but two celestial bodies where one is burdened with giving the system warmth and the other reflects that warmth#they provide light and guidance to the beings of earth for every revolution the planet spins#which just has a very different vibe to ying/yang i think#for me#specifically#lmk#lmk sun wukong#lmk six eared macaque#lmk season 5#lmk s5#lmk shadowpeach#lmk spoilers#lmk s5 spoilers#lmk season 5 spoilers#asks#liukong

imagine if inky mk and macaque interacted would that be crazy or what haha
#✘ — *twangs lute mysteriously* ( ooc. )#season 4 spoilers#dfjskkfj#granted i don't think we have enough context yet on what that creecher is yet BUT i'm very much getting the impression#it's meant to resemble mk's inner demons#considering the theme of this season seems to have a lot to do with him repressing shit and feeling like a screw up#or maybe it's the scroll's curse itself latching ONTO his inner demons#since it seemed to do that with wukong's in the first ep#probably the latter#haha#now i'm sitting here wondering what an inky macaque would be like#the scroll reflects one's greatest regrets... right ?? haha

I finally drew LMK wukong... while also making him yandere because uh.. i like yanderes, we need more yan!Wukong content pls 🙏🥹 anyway Heres my rendition of what yandere lmk sun wukong would be like.. maybe ooc, ive only watched season 1...
Also not proofread— At ALL
⋆˙⟡ — Cw : Yandere, Dub-con, ooc lmk Wukong?, art is wukong x oc but writing is Wukong x reader, not proofread.
I imagine Yan!Wukong to be the type who taunts you about his past actions, how feral and rebellious he was, able to defeat the entire heavenly army and scared the Jade emperor out of his wits just for existing in flower fruit mountain. This only happens when you disobey him ofc, you left the cabin? Denied his wants to feed you himself? Maybe its time to remind you who he is
" See how i was back then? I was a Savage, untamed even if i had that stupid crown around my head. You wouldn't want me to be like that now do you, Peaches? "
He's a sweetheart, Patience and Virtue is a thing he learned the most during his years of living. Yet, unpredictability is also his nature. Especially as a monkey king. There are times when he would tolerate you acting bratty, a bit Defiant is all fun, but when the day comes where he's fought too many Yaoguais, Demons, and Alike. All he wants is your comforting touch soothing him of his worries. The last thing he needs is your uncooperative attitude.
" Peaches... im not in the mood for this. Eat the food. Now. Ive been kind to you. It's either you eat the food or ill get rough."
Wukong is canonically someone who hasnt experienced any romantic nor sexual attraction, the moment he does. He doesn't have a clue on what to do. All he can think of is being in his monkey nature, which includes being possessive, territorial, dominating, and providing you with nutrients. He doesn't trust others enough to help him with his feelings, barely have the guts to ask Bajie if you're in a bad mood. He prefers to wait for others to give him advice (not that he'll take to account).
"MK doesn't know anything, he's a kid! He doesn't understand love like i do... like us adults do. Im doing this to PROTECT you, peaches!"
There might be times where he'll be more touchy than usual, conditioning you to feel comfort and used to his physical affection. Wukong is nothing but patient, he knows how to pavlov you into feeling relaxed once you feel his hands. You'll notice his punishments ranged from letting him groom you, mark you and finally letting him eat you out.
The euphoric bliss whenever he touches you or caught a whiff of your scent is tantalizing, Due to this, he prefers to be the one to serve you rather than you serving him. A king needs his Queen to bleed his heart into, not a concubine who perfoms.
" ah, ah ah~ Remember what i said? You either let me groom your pretty head or i might change things up a little..."
Wukong who gloats about the ring around your finger, making sure everyone. Even the heavens. Know, who you belong to. Theres no such thing as divine intervention, HE willed this fate, HE knit the red threads of fate till it spells your name. Theres an endless amount of love flowing through his heart for you, it seeps through timelines and past reincarnations. Even if your current life is done in this world, he'll continue on finding you. Binding you with him, gripping your heart so close till it beats in harmony with his. He'll make sure to leave an imprint of himself in your soul, even your future consorts needs to know him in order to understand you.
While you came from another world, your own destiny is temporary in his. Wukong will fight tooth and nails to defy the stars just to have you as his permanently. He'll create his own thread. His own happy ending with you.
And if theres anyone who dares to leak the rough details about your hostage love life... hes not known as the god of trickster for nothing
" if the moon and stars are reflection of the past, would they know how many lifetimes have i been loving you before our souls reconciled in this one?
Because i couldn't possibly have just learned to love you this much, all in this single lifetime"

THE WAY I WOKE UP AND DECIDED "HEY, LET'S MAKE INKY A REDESIGN FOR THE CURSED AU" AND THEN PROCEEDED TO WORK ON IT FOR THE ENTIRE DAY
Anyway, the main idea here is that I wanted Inky to kind of look like the opposite of MK, like Macaque is supposed to be the opposite of Wukong in some ways. Not like in a The Sun and The Moon kinda way, but more like the Star and its reflection in the water

have i talked on here about the amount of death flags they're dropping for Macaque. like sure technically quite a few of them are in reference to the death he's already experienced but i swear to GOD the way they keep dropping these is starting to make it seem like he's gonna die again-
"he got away right? he always gets away, right?"
the overly shown sacrifice stuff with MK and Wukong being more subtly reflected in Macaque's actions (getting trapped in the pagoda so the others can escape, using a spell that clearly hurts him/extremely drains him in order to save them, etc). its more subtly cause he hasn't done anything that actively puts him at risk of death yet, but he's still showing those tendencies. while Wukong has his fear of death and MK to stop him and MK has just gotten the "don't fucking sacrifice yourself" message hammered into him (as well as having Wukong himself to stop him)- nobody has given this message to Macaque. i want to put EMPHASIS on this- none of the characters have noticed Macaque's sacrificial tendencies. i feel like that means no one would think to keep an eye on him/stop him.
the chaos magicccc like are you KIDDING that has death flag written ALL OVER IT.
the repeated hints at Macaque's prior death- hear me out. yes this is building to the big reveal. but listen. that reveal. would hit so much harder story wise. if it happens at the same time/in the same episode where Macaque gets killed again. ( could you imagine if they cut between his JTTW death and this death. showing the parallels between them. one moment it's Wukong striking at Macaque, the next second it's whatever's killing him this time around- could you IMAGINE).
im just. head in hands i cant HANDLE this lego monkie kid you can't DO THIS TO ME

Uncovering the Connection ★
Don't you just love how the monkeys are immediately attached to Macaque? There must be more to it; they had to have been attached beforehand. Here's my take on that. (Fanfic)
As Mk approaches Flower Fruit Mountain, he heads towards the tiny house where he knows Monkey King sometimes resides. Upon entering, he finds the Monkey King sitting in a relaxed pose with a small clay pot of tea in front of him. "Ah, so that's what brings you here today. We didn't have training today, huh?" Mk nods in agreement and hesitantly begins, "Umm, actually... I wanted to ask you something."
Monkey King's eyes light up with curiosity as he leans forward. "Ask away! What's on your mind, bud?"
“Uh, it's about Macaque.”
His excitement momentarily fades as he hears the question about Macaque. He leans back, his expression becoming serious.
"Macaque, huh? What do you want to know about him?"
Mk fidgets nervously in the cozy confines of Wukong's house, the warm sunlight filtering through the wooden slats and casting playful shadows on the floor. He senses a subtle shift in the Monkey King's mood, the lighthearted atmosphere around them taking on a more serious tone.
With a hesitant glance at Wukong, Mk takes a deep breath and continues, “Well, I was wondering... Why are the monkeys on Flower Fruit Mountain so attached to Macaque? They seem really fond of him.”
As Mk speaks, he can't help but look around at the various trinkets and artifacts that adorn Wukong's home—each one a piece of history, perhaps reflecting the bond he shares with his fellow monkeys or his journey to the west. He thinks about the bustling chaos outside, where the other monkeys play and chatter, their joyful sounds trickling in like music. Mk noticed how they look at Macaque with a mix of admiration and affection, almost as if he holds a unique place in their hearts.
Mk shifts his weight, feeling the warmth of the wooden floor beneath him. “Is it just his strength that draws them to him, or is there something more?” he muses aloud, his curiosity growing. He remembers how Macaque used to live on Flower Fruit Mountain and currently too is in the process of moving back, and how Macaque seems to effortlessly get affection or tackled from the group of the mountain’s monkeys especially the younger cubs.
Wukong could only sigh softly, his eyes lost in memories as he gazes at the trinkets that surround him. "It's not just his strength, Mk. Macaque might appear aloof, but he has a way with the younger ones, especially the cubs. It's almost as if he brings out a protective, nurturing instinct in them." He pauses, taking a sip from his clay pot before continuing, "But there's more to it than that. Can you keep what I'm about to tell you a secret?"
Mk nods vigorously, a mix of anticipation and curiosity in his eyes. "Of course, Monkey King! I won't tell a soul."
Wukong leaned in closer, his breath barely a whisper as he spoke. "The bond between Macaque and the monkeys of Flower Fruit Mountain is profound, intricately woven into the fabric of his past." A haunting look crossed his face, eyes clouded with memories as he continued, "Macaque... He once called this mountain home for many years, a time that shaped him in ways few truly understand."
Mk momentarily got confused. “Wait. . .he didn’t always used to live on flower fruit mountain even before the best friend breakup?”
Wukong leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a quieter tone. "The connection between Macaque and the monkeys of Flower Fruit Mountain runs deep, rooted in the events of his past." A wistful expression takes hold of his features as he continues, "Macaque... He once lived on this mountain for a significant part of his life, you know."
"When Macaque first came to the mountain, many years ago, he was more open, more friendly. The monkeys, especially the younger ones, took an instant liking to him," Monkey King recalls, a hint of nostalgia in his voice. "He would spend hours playing with the young cubs, letting them climb all over him and treating them with an unexpected tenderness," he continues, his eyes distant as he delves deeper into the past.
"But then," Monkey King's expression darkens for a moment, a flicker of pain and sorrow in his gaze, "something happened. Something that changed Macaque, making him more reserved, more solitary."
“Is it that thing that happened, the one I have no idea about because you two refuse to talk about it, but it’s clear that you’re both still a bit bitter?” Mk exclaimed, his exhaustion evident as he struggled to understand the tension hanging heavily between Wukong and Macaque. Wukong responded with a somber nod, his expression a mix of regret and resignation. "Ah, yes. That’s a crucial part of it," he said slowly, his voice barely a whisper. "Our friendship... it didn’t end well. There was a deep betrayal that shattered both of us, especially Macaque, leaving wounds that run deep." Mk gazed at him, his eyes pleading and curious, conveying a silent desire to uncover the truth of what really transpired between them.
"I know, I know," the king said, his voice tinged with a weariness that spoke volumes. He ran a hand through his hair, the weight of unspoken memories heavy in the air. "You've approached me about our falling out on several occasions, and I truly wish I could divulge the details. However, this is a matter that Macaque and I must confront in our own time, away from prying eyes and restless hearts."
Mk's lips curved into a slight pout, a hint of disappointment shadowing his expression as he lowered his gaze to the floor, the vibrant colors of the surroundings fading momentarily from his focus. However, lifting his eyes once more, he turned his attention to the Monkey King. Wukong, noticing the glimmer of disappointment in Mk's eyes, responded with a warm, reassuring smile, as if trying to infuse some light back into the moment. "Hey, don't look so down," he encouraged, his voice carrying a gentle tone. "There's so much more to the story. Macaque's history on Flower Fruit Mountain goes a little deeper than just our fallout."
"After our friendship ended and Macaque… well, I suppose he came back," the Monkey King says, his voice tinged with sadness. "He wandered for a while, but eventually he found his way back to Flower Fruit Mountain despite everything that happened. I don't quite understand why he could return so easily, but the monkeys always seemed to welcome him back with open arms, no matter our past."
Monkey King straightens a bit, his eyes lighting up as he dives into a vivid recollection of the monkeys' lively behavior. "Ah, the bond between the monkeys and Macaque runs remarkably deep. When he first returned to Flower Fruit Mountain, thanks to your efforts, Mk, the monkeys wasted no time in welcoming him back with open arms. The younger ones, in particular, reacted as if time had stood still; they scampered toward him with uncontained joy, climbing over him with the same carefree exuberance they had displayed in the past, eager for his presence and playful companionship." Yet, Mk couldn’t help but wonder how Macaque managed to create such an atmosphere of comfort and familiarity among them.
Wukong let out a soft chuckle, a glimmer of admiration flickering in his eyes as he spoke. "Ah, that’s a tricky one to pinpoint. Macaque possesses a remarkable affinity for the younger monkeys. There’s something almost magnetic about him; they’re simply drawn to his presence as if enchanted by an unseen force. He has this unique ability to connect with them on a level that transcends words, creating an aura of safety and comfort that wraps around them like a warm blanket."
"He might not always express his feelings outwardly, but deep down, he truly cares for them—albeit in his own aloof manner," Wukong continued, his tone softening, laden with affection. "You see, he’ll allow them to climb on his back, their tiny fingers gripping his fur as they playfully chatter away. He’s always watchful, ready to protect them from any harm that might come their way. The monkeys, especially the young ones, possess an instinctive ability to sense his unwavering loyalty and trustworthiness, which fosters a deep bond. It’s no wonder they feel so comfortable around him, their innocent hearts instinctively reaching out for the warmth he offers."
The Monkey King leaned back, his eyes sparkling with mischief as he regarded his companion. "You know," he said, his voice rich with intrigue, "if you truly wish to understand the bond that Macaque shares with the monkeys, the best approach is to observe him in their company. Experience speaks volumes, after all." He paused, a playful grin tugging at the corners of his mouth. "And don’t underestimate the power of curiosity—perhaps you should consider asking Macaque directly. Though, be warned: he might not reveal his secrets easily." With a slight shrug, the Monkey King continued, "If you manage to coax him out of his shell, however, you just might catch a glimpse of the hidden ties that bind him to the monkeys of Flower Fruit Mountain. It’s a connection shrouded in mystery, but worth every effort to uncover."
Wukong leaned forward, a touch of seriousness in his eyes. "Just be prepared, Mk. Macaque can be a bit prickly, so don't be surprised if he shuts you down or deflects your questions. He's not exactly known for being an open book, you know?" With a touch of seriousness in his eyes he continued. "Just be prepared, Mk. Macaque can be a bit prickly, so don't be surprised if he shuts you down or deflects your questions. He's not exactly known for being an open book, you know?"
Mk burst into laughter, recalling moments when Macaque had been nothing short of closed off and aloof. Wukong couldn’t help but grin, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Oh, trust me, I’m well aware," he replied, his tone playful. "Macaque has a remarkable knack for shutting people out when he feels like it. Yet, beneath that gruff exterior lies a flicker of warmth, particularly when it comes to the monkeys. It’s a side of him not many get to see."
"I've seen moments, brief as they may be, where Macaque let his guard down around the monkeys," he continues, his smile softer now. "A gentle touch, a small smile, a word of comfort or protection. It's clear he cares for them in his own aloof way."
After his insightful conversation with Monkey King, Mk thanked him and stood up, a determined gleam in his eyes. As he walked out of Monkey King's tiny house, he set his sights on finding Macaque.
Mk was having some trouble trying to locate Macaque as he realized something quite obvious. Mk chuckled to himself as he realized his oversight. "Ah, of course. Where there's monkeys, there's also likely to be Macaque. Of course, why didn't I think of that?" With the unmistakable chirps of monkeys serving as his guide, Mk headed in the direction of the lively commotion. He navigated the familiar landscape of Flower Fruit Mountain, following the sound of laughter, chirps, and the occasional ruckus. As he drew closer to the source of the noise, Mk could see the vibrant scene unfold before him. The monkeys were engaged in a lively game, their cheerful chatter filling the air. And sure enough, perched on a nearby tree branch, was Macaque, lazily watching over the monkeys.
Mk paused for a moment, taking in the scene. Macaque looked at the monkeys with a mixture of both annoyance and affection, his expression a contrast to their boisterous energy. He seemed to have a sort of aloof but devoted attitude with the mischievous creatures.
Mk's rushed approach was abruptly halted when he stumbled over a pesky rock, causing a few of the monkeys to startle in surprise. One particularly brave cub, in a surprising turn of events, landed right on Mk's face. Macaque, who had been perched on the tree branch, raised an eyebrow in confusion as he witnessed the unexpected scene unfold.
"Well, that's one way to make an entrance," Macaque commented with a dry tone, his eyes flickering with amused annoyance. He remained nonchalantly perched on the branch, watching Mk and the cub with an air of aloofness. The cub, unperturbed by the fall, clung to Mk's face, chattering and giggling with innocent glee. Meanwhile, Mk, still recovering from his tripping debacle, clumsily attempted to untangle himself from the cub's unexpected grip.
Macaque leaned back against the tree, a hint of amusement in his eyes. "Well, good luck with that. Those little ones can be pretty clingy when they want to be. Especially that one. "
Indeed, the cub on Mk's face had wrapped its tiny arms and legs around his head, seeming quite content to stay there for the time being. As Mk struggled to dislodge the cub, Macaque chuckled slightly at the sight. "You might as well resign yourself to having that little bundle of mischief attached to your face for a while," he teased.
Mk shot a desperate look at Macaque, his expression a mix of frustration and resignation. "Help? A little? Any advice on how to get this little one off my face?"
Macaque feigned a sigh, crossing his arms. "Oh, you're asking the great Macaque for advice on how to handle a small cub? And here I thought you were a disciple of the Monkey King."
Despite his sarcastic tone, a hint of playfulness glimmered in his eyes.
Macaque hopped down from the tree branch, approaching Mk and the cub. "You're being too gentle," he smirked, observing Mk's struggles. "They respond better to a more firm approach." As Mk continued to struggle with the stubborn cub on his face, Macaque gracefully swooped in, his tail extending with calculated finesse. With a swift and practiced move, he used the tip of his tail to gently pry the cub off Mk's face.
The cub protested slightly, letting out a small whine, but relented under Macaque's firm, yet gentle touch. Macaque held the squirming cub in his arms, and turned to Mk. "It's all about firmness and confidence. If you're too hesitant, they'll walk all over you." The cub in his arms now calmed down, chittering softly and clinging to Macaque instead.
As soon as Macaque held the cub in his arms, the mischievous little creature's attention shifted to his tail. Without missing a beat, the cub scampered up the long, shadowy limb, clinging onto Macaque's tail with a tenacious grip.
Macaque rolled his eyes at the cub's antics, but a small smile tugged at his lips. The cub now perched on Macaque's tail, it looked at Mk with big, curious eyes, chattering happily like it was enjoying its new mode of transportation. Mk blinked, a sense of surprise and disbelief crossing his face. Had he just seen Macaque, the brooding shadow warrior, actually smile?
The cub, still clinging to Macaque's tail, seemed equally amused, chirping happily and adding to the unlikely sight before them. For a moment, there was an almost tender expression on Macaque's face as he allowed the cub to cling to his tail. Despite his often aloof demeanor, there was no denying the genuine affection he held for the young monkeys of Flower Fruit Mountain.
Macaque, still holding the cub on his tail, turned his gaze towards Mk. A question formed in his yellow eyes, his eyebrow lifting slightly. "So, now that you're here, care to tell me why you're looking for me, kid?" Mk hesitated for a moment, composing his words in his mind. He had a specific question he wanted to ask, but he wasn't sure how Macaque would react. Finally, he gathered his courage and spoke up.
"Actually, I wanted to ask you something."
Macaque's interest was piqued, and his gaze sharpened. "Hmm, well, spit it out then. I've got better things to do than just stand here holding this little nuisance." Mk took a breath and went for it. "I've noticed how close you are with the monkeys around here, especially the younger ones. I was wondering... how do you do it? How do you get them to just instantly like you and be comfortable around you like that?" Macaque was taken aback. He had anticipated a question about his methods of combat or his powers, not something so direct and straightforward about his relationship with the monkeys. There was a moment of silence as Macaque pondered his response, the cub on his tail shifting its grip.
"Well," Macaque began, his voice steady, but with a hint of vulnerability. "I suppose it's a matter of understanding and connecting with them. The young ones... well, they're simple creatures. They just want someone they can trust, someone who shows them affection and makes them feel safe."
Macaque looked around at the monkeys playing nearby, his eyes softening slightly. "They sense things in people. They can tell when someone genuinely cares. I may not be as... open and warm as Monkey King, but I make sure they know I'm there for them, in my own way." Macaque's gaze shifted back to Mk. "It's not rocket science, kid. It's just about showing them kindness, compassion, and a bit of patience. It doesn't take much to win over their trust." Macaque chuckled at Mk's frustrated groan.
"Ah, don't beat yourself up about it, kid. The monkeys here are just more attached to me, I guess." He shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly, his tone light-hearted. "It's not like I'm going out of my way to win their affections. It just happens naturally." Macaque's carefree attitude was a stark contrast to Mk's evident frustration. He leaned against the tree trunk, the cub still clinging to his tail. "Maybe the younger ones are more drawn to me because I don't try too hard. They can sense sincerity, you know?"
Macaque chuckled again, a hint of mockery in his tone. "Or maybe they just like me better because I don't trip and fall over every rock I see. They value gracefulness and balance, kid." Four more monkeys, seemingly out of nowhere, had materialized behind his back, their presence subtle but unmistakable.
Macaque, seemingly unperturbed by the sudden appearance of the monkeys, continued his sarcastic banter as if nothing had happened. With an air of nonchalance, he casually addressed Mk whilst the monkeys behind him began to play with his tail.
"What's the matter, kid? Never seen monkeys appear out of thin air before?"
Despite their surprising appearance, the monkeys seemed completely at ease with Macaque, as if they were used to his presence. Mk, still stunned by the sudden appearance of the monkeys, watched in disbelief as they played with Macaque's tail. Mk couldn't help but point out the irony of the situation. "See? That's exactly what I mean! They just showed up behind you and started playing with your tail like it's the most natural thing in the world. How do you even do that?"
Macaque chuckled, clearly enjoying Mk's dumbfounded expression. "What can I say, kid? The monkeys of Flower Fruit Mountain have a soft spot for me. I guess they can't resist my charming personality." With a smirk, Macaque glanced at the monkeys playing with his tail. "Just like you can't resist the temptation to trip over every rock in sight."
Mk grumbled, obviously frustrated by Macaque's constant taunting. "Oh, hardy har har. You know I tripped on accident, right?" Macaque shrugged nonchalantly, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Accident or not, it was still quite a show. Maybe you should invest in some walking lessons, kid."
Macaque chuckled, his voice dripping with mockery. "Or perhaps some glasses. You know, so you can actually see where you're going next time."
Mk let out a deep sigh, clearly growing tired of Macaque's constant digs at his clumsiness. "Very funny. Real hilarious. Can you give it a rest already?" Macaque chuckled letting it go, but offered to help Mk with the monkeys so they could get used to him. Mk did not expect that at all.
Mk was caught off guard by Macaque's unexpected offer. He had expected more teasing from the monkey, but instead, he was actually being somewhat helpful.
"Wait... you're actually willing to help me?" Mk asked, slightly suspicious.
Macaque crossed his arms, his tone matter-of-fact. "Well, it's not like they actively dislike you. They just don't know you as well as they know me. And let's face it, I have a certain charm that you'll probably never possess." He smirked as he finished his statement, clearly enjoying his own arrogance. "But with a little effort and some guidance from the great Macaque, maybe the monkeys will start warming up to you more."
"Though I can't promise they'll like you as much as they like me," Macaque tacked on, a self-satisfied smile on his face. "I'm quite hard to compete with, you know."
Macaque leaned back against the tree, a hearty laugh escaping his lips. "You chose me, of all people, to help you win over the monkeys? I must say, your decision-making skills are truly astounding, kid."
"If you wanted to befriend the monkeys, you could've asked Monkey King. He's practically their favorite playmate. But you came to me. Not sure if that's a stroke of brilliance or just sheer stupidity." Macaque's yellow eyes gleamed with amusement as he continued, "Either way, I find it quite entertaining that you thought I'd be the one to help you with this little predicament."
Mk, taken aback by Macaque's continued amusement, decided to clarify himself. He looked directly at Macaque, determination in his eyes. "I didn't come to you because I thought you were the obvious choice. I came to you because I think you understand the monkeys on a different level than Monkey King."
Macaque, caught off guard by Mk's genuine explanation, raised an eyebrow. It wasn't often that someone looked to him for insight rather than Monkey King.
"What do you mean?" Macaque asked, tilting his head curiously.
Mk explained further, his voice filled with sincerity. "Monkey King may be the king and the monkeys' favorite, but he's always seen as this larger-than-life figure. He's the legend they worship and admire. But you... You have a different kind of connection with the monkeys here. You understand them on a more intimate level, and they trust and rely on you in a way that they don't with Monkey King."
Macaque was truly dumbfounded. He wasn't used to someone noticing the subtle bonds he had formed with the monkeys. No one, aside from the monkeys themselves, had ever pointed that out before. "You... You really believe that?" Macaque asked, a hint of vulnerability visible in his usually guarded eyes.
Mk nodded firmly, meeting Macaque's gaze. "Yes, I do. I've seen how the monkeys cling to you, follow your every move, and seek your comfort. That bond goes beyond just being their 'playmate.' It's trust, reliance, and... I think even a hint of affection." Macaque's composure faltered for a moment. He had always known there was a unique connection between him and the monkeys, but hearing someone else acknowledge it, especially someone like Mk, was jarring.
"I... I never thought someone like you would actually understand," Macaque admitted, his voice soft and slightly stunned. Mk took a step forward, his tone sincere yet curious. "So, will you help me? I want to understand the monkeys like you do, to form that bond with them. To have them trust and rely on me, just like they do with you." Macaque, still slightly taken aback by Mk's words, paused for a moment. He considered Mk's request, his thoughts flickering in his yellow eyes. Finally, he let out a sigh, resigned.
"I suppose it wouldn't hurt to help you out. But don't expect a miracle overnight, kid. Earning the trust of the monkeys takes time and patience." Macaque pushed himself off the tree, straightening up. "I'll give you some pointers, sure. But don't think you'll be instantly adored like me. That charm just can't be replicated." He gave Mk a mocking smile, regaining his usual confident demeanor. "You'll just have to settle for being the runner-up favorite, I suppose."
Macaque, noticing Mk's eagerness, smirked. "Well, eager beaver, let's get started then. The first lesson in winning the hearts of the monkeys around here is understanding them. You can't just waltz in and expect them to like you. They are creatures of instinct, and they need trust, comfort, and familiarity." This was how Mk began to get closer to the monkeys of Flower Fruit Mountain.

Pairing: Wukong & afab!monkey!Reader Rating: SFW Summary: Trying to sneak out of having a bath is impossible when your grandpa can sniff out your funk. Warnings/Tags: Fluff, wholesome stuff, gremlin behavior, grooming/preening. Word Count: 800+ words
On the flower fruit mountain, there were a plethora of monkeys across the mountain/island. A particular monkey, who looked no bigger than the usual monkey that hung around the mountain, crawled on the forest floor with their tail swishing in the air. Their eyes shifted left to right, their hands feeling carefully around the moist dirt and used their tiny feet to propel themselves forward.
The mud, pebbles, and leaves began caking their furry body as they continued army crawling to reach the break in the treeline. Just a few more seconds and you would be in the clear and ready to sneak off to the beach, all a part of your plan to spend the rest of your day making the largest sand castle there ever was. Too bad you couldn't rope MK into helping you, but he was the last thing on your mind at the moment.
Right, you needed to focus on escaping your-
"And where do you think you're going, young lady?"
Aw shucks.
You attempted to flee but a tail snaked around your ankle and yanked you up into the air. You hung upside down, scratching and clawing at the air as you slowly rotated in the older monkey's clutch.
"Pa, lemme-lemme down!" You shrieked.
"Not until you explain why you were sneaking' around and avoiding your much needed bath," Wukong, who happens to be your very annoying grandpa, pulled a face as he leaned forward to sniff you and gagged.
"I took one yesterday!"
"Your yesterday could be another person's week," Wukong raised an unimpressed brow as you began to chew on his tail to break free. "Let's go, kiddo, you're taking a bath one way or another."
"Ughhh, noooo!" You wailed as your grandpa summoned his cloud. Just as he was about to lower you on to it, you batted the dirt you managed to grab earlier and aimed for his eyes.
"Wha-? HEY!" Wukong spat and sputtered the dirt that managed to enter his mouth. His hands failed to snatch your rolling form from escaping. "Get back here!"
"Oh, you're gonna be in so much trouble when I find you!" Was the last thing you heard as you scampered off.
Despite your smaller body, your inherited strength and energy made it easier to put a lot of distance between yourself and your grandpa. You laughed triumphantly as you leapt from a tree and reached for a vine to swing to another branch.
You flung yourself in the air before landing on a high branch, sticks and other pieces of the forest tangled in your wild mane as you glanced over your shoulder to carefully examine any sign that the older simian was on your tail. You snorted smugly as you raised your tail high before reaching for the branch above your head only to grab something leather-y. You looked up and found your grinning grandfather knelt on the very branch you were going to grab.
"Boo."
"AHHHHHHHHH!"
It's safe to say that you ended up back in the cave with your grandpa dunking your stinky self into the nearest bed of water while he gathered the rest of the stuff he'll need to tame your messy appearance. As his fingers worked through the knots and twists in your hair, you hissed and attempted to move your head away from his hands only to be guided back by his tail.
"Sit still," Wukong sternly demanded as he moved your hands away from reaching up to your head. You only pouted in response, but overtime the gentle combing and scratches made your head droop to the side as you nearly dozed off a couple of times. Yet, you would always fight it off and remain glowering at the reflection of your grandpa in the soapy water.
"Don't look so gloomy, peaches," Your grandpa snickered as you blew a bubble away from your face. Wukong plucked a stick from your hair and flicked it away, "Look, we're almost done and I'll give you something sweet after, 'kay?"
You grumbled something before lifting your arms so your grandfather could take you out. You dropped your head on his shoulder as you were wrapped in a towel and placed in Wukong's lap. Wukong noticed your stillness as he rubbed the towel against your mane, squeezing gently and massaging the rest of the water off your body.
Hearing the soft snores coming from you brought a smile to his face. The monkey king gently cradled you against his chest, wishing you the best of dreams you could ever have.

an ISAT animatic popped up and reminded me of my favourite trope, so now more crumbs manifest:
TIME LOOPS!
time loop where reader goes back to the very beginning of her adventure, and now has to face the fact that the cubs were warlords, and now she has a second chance to do things over. perhaps this time, she can escape their attention. reader is, unfortunately, a bleeding heart, and always picks them up, so its a case of trying to be as uninteresting and apathetic as possible while getting them to flower fruit mountain.
but reader cant hide how much she cares. throwing herself in front of threats, taking care of their injuries with great care, always being gentle with them.
the only way she could escape their love would to stop being compassionate, but compassion is an inherent trait to reader.
no matter what she does, no matter how much she changes between each loop they still love her anyways. she can never escape.
TIME LOOPS!
time loop where the monkey duo constantly re-experience the day reader successfully escapes back to her world. you would think being overpowered would help, but no. it seems like reader was going to escape them, one way or the other. the very first time they managed to stop her from returning back to her world, she perished, presumably from her injuries.
only after many more loops do they realise that reader is the cause in every loop she has died. today was the day she was going to escape them, one way or the other.
they just keep losing her.
TIME LOOPS!
you know how there is an encounter where sun wukong and macaque fight in jttw/lmk, and how sun wukong kills macaque?(idk how lmk handles it) how about reliving that day, again and again, until wukong can figure out a way to not kill him? starting at the very beginning of the confrontation, ending a few moments after the fatal blow.
one loop he manages to delay the fight, trying to see if making it through the day will break the loop.
nope!
once the sun sets, it loops straight back to the beginning of the confrontation.
and he cant exactly die to escape the loops, can he? and trying to not fight macaque leads macaque to try and kill the pilgrims instead, and if sun wukong doesn't protect them, then its circlet time! he always has to fight macaque
is this punishment for killing his love? to forever relive his final day by his hand?
TIME LOOPS!
honestly someone should do the pilgrims in an JTTW/LMK X ISAT AU, i would read it. its 5 for 5 and if sun wukong takes the place of siffrin macaque could take the place of loop. lady bone demon as the king, tripitaka as the person who is the key to the party's adventure, pigsy and sandy rounding out the team, and ao lie as the support.
idk who would be headmaiden tho. don't know enough characters off the top of my head.
you could even have a reflection in lmk, and draw parallels of the last time it happened, make wukong think he went back into the time loops again, but its mk this time instead
TIME LOOPS!
i can never get enough of them. i hope you like my crumbs as much as i like your fics.
Okay first things first. I am so sorry that I am definitely going out of order with these Crumbs!
I get ideas for one and it’s not the one I’m supposed to be working on and I am sorry. But~ I do love these crumbs and am trying to work my way through them. One at a time~ Get it time hehe!
I can’t honestly say that I know much if anything really about ISAT. So forgive me for only understanding time loops.
Now as for time loops? I can’t say I’d be putting them in my main fic. However! These are amazing ideas which would be so angsty!
One minute Reader in stuck on Flower Fruit Mountian and the next she is back standing under the tree that she first met the monkeys under. They had just fallen and she was holding them in her arms. She wants to throw them out and run, everything in her tells her to run… but, how could she!?
These are her monkeys! The same ones who she cared for and loved for months.
Reader staring at Sun Wukong and The Six Eared Macaque. Both were staring back at her for just a moment before one of them bit her! Even with the tiny teeth biting into her skin she didn’t feel pain, this kind of pain was nothing to her now. Tears filled her eyes catching Spirit’s attention.
“Reader? Are you alright? Damn cub he needs to let you-“ She was cut off as you held the two closer to you trying to push away any thoughts of what was to come.
You could throw them out, you could push them away but… how could you? They were so small, so defenseless right now. Even knowing who and what they are you can’t bring yourself to do anything but hold them. They were perfect like this, they had been so sweet and kind to you with an innocence that you truly believed in. However even while they were still ‘sweet’ and ‘kind’ to you in the future they were so dangerous and murderous now.
"Reader let the monkey go," Spirit said calmly, however at her words you did the exact opposite, you couldn't, you couldn't let them go.
"Flower Fruit Mountain... there is a way home on Flower Fruit Mountain, I know where it is on the island," you finally said.
The way home from there wasn't destroyed yet and you had time. You had the time to get them there and get home before the curse broke. You were sure that you had the time, the time to get Sun Wukong and The Six Eared Macaque back to their home before they would fall in love. Just ignore their looks and don’t let them get out of sight. Easy, it was just that easy.
You wished it had been that easy, at every turn these two tried to run off. They thought they were still invincible and weren’t listening to anything you would say. You tried to be mean to a point but just one look at their faces and you would melt.
“It’s not fair,” you grumbled one night after Spirit laid down to bed. She didn’t think you should bring the monkey cubs along but you refused to leave them behind.
Both monkeys looked at you and cocked their heads to the side. They didn’t run away because it was so dark that you could barely see anything in the forest around you even with the fire blazing in front of you. Monsters stayed away from these flames, it was odd but very helpful in the woods.
“After everything I should hate you two, but how can I do that when you are so… I shouldn’t even be saying anything…” The two in front of you were confused at your words but you attempted not to say anything.
Tears filled your eyes as you looked as you looked at them. It was so unfair. They were defenseless and weak right now anything could hurt them. Maybe that was why, maybe that was why you wanted to see them back in their Warlord forms. At least then they’d be able to fight for their own protection.
“When you return to your true forms… do me a favor and don’t look for me. You don’t need me,” you muttered as sleep overtook your mind.
*Chirp?*
You knew who they were and you knew they’d return to their true forms. Looking at each other they came closer to you curious. You were so quiet when you slept and it was strange to see you so calm rather than running after them. At least not with the tears that had just fallen from your eyes.
Who were you? And how did you know who they were?
Curiosity was always what sparked how the two fell in love with you. They would stop running long enough to know you to learn about you and to love you.
With each time the time changes she would inevitably become the source of curiosity for the two monkeys. They learned about you in every world. Delayed your return to their home to capture you before you could find the way that you return home. Destroy whatever was in their way to keep you by their side.
This one didn’t really go into the time loop part of it too much, sorry about that. But it’s not a bad scene in my opinion at least.
>>><<<< Reader’s daughter (one of them)
However this also depends on what time Reader is taken from the future! Is it during when she’s first taken to Flower Fruit Mountian? Is it during the journey? Is it during the LMK time? Is she with them willingly at this point? Does she have kids?
Yes you eventually have kids, so if its after you have kids with the two warlords then well I’ve had a little scene in my head for a while now. Where one of your children goes to the past and you has to get her back!
“But they hurt you,” Her words cut through you like a knife. You don’t fight with your husbands all that much, so why does she know this?
“Honey-“ You begin to say.
“Uncle Tang told us about how you all met the Warlords, he said that you got hurt more than once too!” She was crying at this point, your daughter, your ever strong and determined daughter was crying.
Your eyes flickered to the monkeys (weather in warlord form or cub form) and sigh. It’s true, they hurt you before. They never meant to but there was more than once that you ended up hurt. But you turned your attention right back to your daughter and kneeled in front of her.
“They did. They hurt me, but they never meant to,” You explain cupping your daughter’s cheeks, staring at her heart shaped mask and deep golden eyes. She looked so much like her dad.
“Then why!? WHY WON’T YOU CHANGE IT!?” She yelled but froze when you laughed. You laughed at the words, you knew why you wouldn’t change anything not a single thing would be changed at least not by you.
“Because, because no matter what happened in the past, I love you, you and your siblings. If what happened in the past didn't happen then how would I have gotten you or your siblings?” You asked a smile on your face, reassuring and calm.
She sniffled, eyes wide with shock as if the thought didn’t cross her mind. However when her eyes went down cast you knew, she had thought about that. She had known there would be consequences but she wanted to spare you the pain.
“Besides, no matter what happened in the past… I love them too. Both of them, through thick and thin, through joy and sorrow. They are mine and I am theirs,” You explained, your own eyes brimmed with tears as your daughter threw herself into your arms and letting out a sob.
It was like when she was a tiny cub again she curled into you as you pulled her close to you. With a sigh you smile and take the artifact that you used to find her out of your pocket. You looked at Sun Wukong and The Six Eared Macaque and give them a soft smile before allowing yourself and your daughter to be sent back to your own time.
Sun Jin, also nicknamed Jinx is mostly like her dad in the aspects of personality and appearance. She has a very low amount of shadow magic, (compared to her siblings) and extraordinary strength. In strength alone she can match many celestials and high ranked demons alike. She is a pure mama’s girl and will do anything to make her happy, even if that means breaking time and space itself.
>>><<< Reader escapes to her world
“NO!” The pure boiling rage echoed through the cavern as the light died down. Everything was still around the now shattered crystal that lay in shards across the cold stone floor.
You were gone, again! How many times has this day reset? How many times had they lost you to the damned portal that continued to take you away!? All they wanted was for you to stay with them and be their Queen. They wanted you safe and cared for, you’d never be in danger with them and you would have everything that you’d ever asked for.
Macaque was the first to move, scooping up the shattered crystal with a look of rage across his face. Every time, every fucking time. You would never stay here- NO! He refused to believe that. They would get you back one way or another, weather you agreed with them or not. You were their beautiful and loving wife, they would get you back no matter how long it took.
As the world around them shifted to them returning to the beginning of the day, Wukong curled around you. Every morning started the same, you three were sleeping in bed before going about your day. The day that you would find a way back to your world, and leave them behind.
No, you wouldn’t be able to do that for much longer. Macaque would make sure of that. Without a word he got out of bed, giving a smile to Wukong who looked at him with confusion. He wouldn’t explain not this time, he wouldn’t give his mate false hope before getting to the bottom of this.
It didn’t work, of course it didn’t work. Wukong screamed as he held your lifeless body in his arms, his body shaking with pure rage. His eyes almost glowing red as if he were about to use his power to destroy anything in his path. He barely held himself back as Macaque stood behind you both.
No! How did this happen!? All he did was break the crystal, the same crystal that constantly took you away from them again and again and again. All he did was take away what was taking you from them!
He couldn’t even bring himself to approach you two instead backing away with a look of horror across his face. This was his fault, in his selfishness, he took you away permanently. Tears, real tears filled his eyes as the wind howled around them, shadows lashing around as the ground cracked beneath his mate. They couldn’t stand this!!
Once again the world shifted to the morning before, hearts pounding in their chests as they curled close to you. They wouldn’t loose you, not this time.
Not this time.
Not this time.
NOT THIS TIME!
>>> Random thought
Okay halfway through this one I came up with an idea! So I have a way for Reader to get home from the island, one that the monkey duo is constantly trying to destroy. A crystal that was formed within one of the caverns deep underground. Now with that information what if the day that she constantly escapes is the same day that she keeps getting sent to the past!
Just a thought, I thought it was neat. In that case the crystal would be what is sending her to the past… oh! Flower Fruit Mountain has tons of artifacts so the one they could be fighting against is a time travel device while there is still another crystal to her own world. Yeah, that could work.
>>> The day Macaque dies
Now I don’t think I’ll be having Macaque die in this Au, and if I do it’ll only be temporary. However- The ANGST! So not at all canon, but how can I resist.
Though I don’t think any of these are fully canon to this Au, but meh they have been so fun to write!!
Blood dripped down the side of Wukong’s staff. Everything in his world froze around him. Macaque’s once vibrant eye the only one visible dimming until they held no light and no life. A scream was heard almost instantly, the staff thrown to the side in favor of Wukong cradling his love in his arms. No, no, no! How could he do this!? How could he do this to his warrior.
His own vision blurred as he pulled his mate into his arms and let out a sob. How- how- how!? This isn’t real, none of this was real. This wasn’t even possible! He tried to reason with himself, there was no way that any of this was possible.
The sun behind him was an array of gorgeous golds, oranges and reds as it set below the sky. Allowing the moon to show from high in the sky, as if it was mocking him.
He opened his mouth to scream once again only for his entire world to shift. And once again be standing in front of his enraged mate.
“I don’t want to fight you!” He yelled, knowing this wasn’t the first time this has happened. However it was only not the first time for him, to his beloved mate? This was the first time they had seen each other in a long while, the pilgrimage having taken him from The Five Fazes Mountain. He needed to complete this journey to be free, to go back to his mate at all.
“Then get out of my way!” So he could get his revenge, so that Macaque could do what he came for.
Time and time again, his own mate’s blood covered his hands quickly making the King go absolutely insane. Blood would cover the ground one way or another this day and there was nothing that could be done about it.
I loved this ask! Again I’m sorry that I took so long with this ask! I do love this idea! And once again I really don’t know that much about ISAT, if you could let me know more about it I might look into it. That is not a promise but I might get intrigued enough to look at it.

Eros and psyche au prompt: Red Son and MK renewing their vows
Qi Xiaotian wore red this time.
Instead of a shivering young man in funeral robes and holding funeral flowers, he smiled as he looked at his own reflection. He looked and felt so handsome.
"Oh my gosh, you look great!" Long Xiaojiao squealed, darting around and snapping pictures of him. She had taken her duty as maid of honor seriously, whipping up an even fancier wedding (with the help of his groom and his in-laws) than Xiaotian had ever dreamed. This time, he wouldn't be alone. "I can't believe this is happening!"
"After everything, I can't believe it either." Xiaotian and his family had gone through a lot of shit. A good party had been needed way before this. A thought popped to mind. "Is-"
"Huiying's waiting with Pigsy and Tang," Xiaojiao said, reading his mind. "Wukong was playing with her to get all his nerves out last I saw." She wrapped her arms around him, hugging him tight. "Everything is ready."
Xiaotian took in a deep breath and nodded. "Right." Everything was going to be great. He knew it, deep in his bones.
"Now, I gotta get the music started," Xiaojiao said, pulling away. "And Red's waiting for you outside."
"Huh?"
She opened the door, saying hi as she walked out, and Xiaotian's heart skipped a beat as he processed what he was looking at.
Red looked like divinity itself, wearing a beautiful red gown. His hair was tied back, allowing room for his beautiful horns to blossom. As the skirt shifted, Xiaotian could've sworn he saw his tail wag back and forth. He held his own bouquet, but the flowers were dim in comparison to his beauty.
His husband. His love.
His Red smiled.

New OC : Venomous Blood AU
Meet Viper, the adopted younger sibling of MK the Monkie Kid.
A quiet person. Little to no words leaving their lips as their heterochromia eyes observed their surrounding with utmost vigilance.
Their origins are unknown. As Pigsy found their small form within a basket outside the Noodle Shop. But as they grew, they had realized they're not normal. For their forked tongue and golden eyes conveyed something else entirely.
But what of their connection with their brother? The heroic individual that took the burden the title of of being the Great Sage's Successor?
Confliction; for the glory of being the Monkey King's successor had casted shadows of bond that fell unto his beloved sibling. Their bond reflected like the moon to the sun. Dependent to the light of their brother's ways. As MK's destiny lies with Sun Wukong, they had no one. Abandoned and alone.
It diminished their spirit for the gnawing feeling of darkness looming over their heart with no light to ease their ways. Inkling with darkness though his blood like venomous vengeance.
Macaque saw his past upon them. He'll make sure to not repeat history.
Note: So... I noticed I have a sibling for Mei and Red Son... Now have this guy! I have the Traffic Light Trio Sibling OCs! (who are RGB XDD)
Small Fun Facts about Viper:
Uses they/them pronouns.
A Snake Demon. Viper isn't their real name.
They're a ribbon dancer.
Macaque's (forced) successor.
