I'm pretty sure this headcannon is nothing new in the mfb fandom, but Doji and Ryo has always read as bitter exes to me. There's no way Doji would've known where L-Drago was hidden unless he was connected to Koma Village in some way. So I picture these two in their youth, having grown up together as rivals and best friends, at crossroads in life. They haven't yet betrayed each other. They don't yet know the storm that's coming.

Feeling a bit nostalgic today and uhh.. I wanted to well around with gradients… I had this strange idea in mind where Gingka’s red and black aura from episode 13 reminded me of a blood moon so I drew this.. I kind of liked how it turned out..

What if mfb was made in the 90s🤔-this is my first time ever trying to like - replicate an art style (i didnt take one 90s anime to replicate from i used many different screenshots from different animes) so idk😔90s anime is the most visually appealing sht ever to me its like my biggest inspiration even though i dont make that obvious lol. so i’ll probably make more of these in the future🙏

It was supposed to be a redraw od this scene but it doesnt really look alike (the expression) bcs i was more focused on making it look accurate lol
