😱👪❌ and 🌱 for diana?
Does your muse have any specific fears? Where did those fears come from? Besides some of the deeper fears like rejection/imperfection, Diana is terrified of clowns. She's pretty sure it stems from her parents taking her to the circus as a kid and a clown scaring the bajesus out of her. Diana brings it up sometimes to tease her mom because her mom feels so bad about it she's always like YOU QUIT IT. Diana, dramatically: I was TRAUMATIZED.
What is your muse’s relationship with their parents like? Was it always this way? Really, really good compared to a lot of my other OCs lmao. They're so incredibly supportive and proud of her. They love her and show it frequently even if it's not verbally - her dad loves to spend time doing stuff with her and really encourages her hobbies while her mother is kinda helicoptery and very doting. Whenever Diana is feeling bad her mom makes her favorite food :') They also love each other a lot which goes a long way growing up in a house where your parents are partners and clearly love each other. She's always really wanted something like that when she's older and getting married. Diana does kind of have...a lot of pressure on her from her parents too. They don't do it on purpose but they just want her to do her best all the time and sometimes Diana's best isn't what they expect. She's already a perfectionist and overachiever and I think a lot of that comes from the confidence and expectations her parents placed on her when she was young. She's also their only kid so it's like...everything is riding on her.
Is there something your muse struggles with that they might never overcome? What is it? Why do they have so much trouble with it? I think her perfectionism and her being hard on herself is never really going to go away no matter how much love and reassurance she receives from her family and friends that they love her no matter what. Her parents only want her to reach her full potential but tfw gifted kid burnout will definitely catch up with her eventually. Diana has a hard time realizing that she's not going to be magically good at everything which is a hard blow to her ego. I think that Diana places a lot of value in the things she sets her mind to and gets really down on herself for failing. I just think it's who she is and how she was raised.
What themes are relevant to your muse? Family (blood or chosen, she's lucky enough to get a chance with both), getting out of your shell, loving despite your fear, reaching for the stars, ambition is not a dirty word, to have a full life you need love in it, finally finding your place/your people.
