#M'egga Man

I'm a huge fan of the concept of M'egga Man; an evil reprogrammed Mega Man with Eggman design motifs is a weird and kickass idea. Unfortunately, I really think the Worlds Unite crossover did Mega Man dirty in the design department, especially when you compare him to his fellow corrupted counterpart Sonic Man, who just looks way better imo.

So I decided I'd make a redesign in hopes of doing Rock justice. One thing I really love about his concept art is that originally, they were going to give him a mask shaped like Eggman's mustache. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I think the idea is really bold and creative myself, so I incorporated it into my design. His helmet also has shades he can lift up to reveal his eyes. I like the idea of the mask and shades since they obscure his face. I thought they would make him feel more threatening and detached to contrast with how nice and friendly normal Mega Man looks.

I had a lot of fun working on this! I think he looks pretty cool myself, but I'm curious to hear what others think! I took design notes from Eggman himself and a bit from the Egg Bosses in Archie. Eggman is incredibly egotistical, so I think it makes sense he'd model M'egga Man with a lot of his own features.

The Rise of the Archie Team Trinity

Everyone knows how Team Trinity met and started back in the ol' classic days and how they grew up into some of the most well known and powerful heroes to fight against the Eggman Empire. But as per usual, there are always different universes for every main universe. And this universe has Team Trinity meet in entirety different ways and has them join the Freedom Fighters in their fight against the Robotnik Empire. We start with Dr. Ivo Robotnik at his desk, working on his next big plan

"Ivo dear, Badnik and SWAT Bot production is making great progress thanks to Omelette's efforts" Dr. Shelly Blanche said as she entered the room, with a robotic Cluck on her shoulder

"Excellent...! I knew she wouldn't disappoint. And your experiments?" Robotnik asked

"I'm using some of the Mobians we captured to run some tests and so far, all I managed to do was make a rabbit with a rubberhose body... But I did make an interesting concoction I think you would love~ Snively, be a doll and bring in that beaker I just whipped up" Shelly responded

As much as I like how the Sonic Man vs. Robot Masters/M’egga Man vs. the Freedom Fighters looked, I think their duels against Proto Man and Gemerl are much more exciting, like they’ve really met their match! I kinda wish their battles went on for longer in this issue instead of them incapacitating the good guys halfway through the issue.

A Trinityverse Halloween Special: Revenge of The Phantom Glitch!

Mecha Sonic...A name that once filled Team Trinity and those on Mobius with fear until it's destruction at the hands of the Metal Overlord had managed to fin a way back into the world of the living as a living glitch before, in their insanity, absorbed the Phantom Ruby to become a new, terrifying creature simply known only as 'Glitcher', yet others would refer to them by the name given to them by the Robotniks when they asked about this creature....'M-Sonic.EXE', which was the name for his programming file back when they were still a robot...

Now, as the self-proclaimed God of Machines and Illusions...He waits for his time to strike...and it seems that time was slowly approaching upon this Halloween Night...And we star this tale...with a knock at the workshop door of Miles 'Tails' Prower...

Invasion...?

To be perfectly honest, the Walrus really did want to go to the last battle with the others. Heck, even Ant had gone! Buuuttttt, Rotor had recently found out that Freedom Gespenst Purple’s mana engine preetttttyyyyy much made it impossible to use the mech long term without replacing the power source. He didn’t want to become a liability, so he stayed behind, and tried to see if he could replace the power source with something else. So far, he hadn’t had much luck.

So, he brought his Gespenst back to Mobotropolis, and started working on it there, along with the Sky Patrol. Buuuttttt, once he returned there, he had found out that none of the others had returned from- Well, wherever it was that they went. He was starting to get worried, but, he learned that the King had put Gemerl on patrol duty, and he started feeling a bit better. At least with Gemerl around, it was less likely for anything to happen while the others were gone.

Sometimes, it really seemed like the bot couldn’t get a break. ...Granted, he didn’t know what all made him feel like that, but, he knew it had to be something. With Sonic and most of the others gone, he was basically more or less one of the kingdom’s last hopes. To be honest, he’d rather be helping Miss Vanilla instead, but, he knew that if the Empire attacked, he could probably deal with them. Heck, he knew there had been some otherworldly crisis going on. Chances were, the Empire had probably sent it’s best to deal with the threat.

So, as he walked through the Wood Zone, he couldn’t help but feel fairly confident that he had things handled.

...And, then, he sensed three robotic signatures coming toward his location. He stopped and got into fighting position. He knew that he could handle this.

But, then the three robots stepped out into his view.

“So, this is the second to last line of defense for the Kingdom of Acorn, huh? ...Frankly, I’m not really impressed.”

“Don’t let your guard down. He does have some decent weaponry, and knows how to fight.”

“That’s one of the reasons that the doctor sent me along.”

...Okay, so, maybe he had been a bit more confident than he should’ve. These were clearly no ordinary bots. It was Metal Sonic, a Metal Series bot designed to look heavily like the princess, and- Huh. He didn’t know who the humanoid one was, but, he somehow felt familiar...

“So, I’m guessing that you three are just that eager for a beat down.”, he said, getting ready, as did his three opponents.

“Remember to fight as a unit.”, the chipmunk metal said.

“Fine with me.”

“Sounds good~”

And, with that the battle started. The humanoid fired a fairly wide laser beam in Gemerl’s direction, but the gizoid dodged it by using his backjet.

“Seriously? Did you think that was going to wo-”

CLONK

...He really should have been paying more attention to Metal Sonic, who had gotten behind him, and knocked him toward the Metal Sally-

-Who kicked him right in the direction of the humanoid bot-

-Causing Gemerl to collide face first with an egg bumper that the humanoid robot had, and then get sent crashing into a tree.

“Pfffftttt, is that really all he’s got?”

“Oh, geez...”, said the Gizoid, picking himself off the ground. “No way I can win this alone...”

He tried jetting off in the direction of the kingdom-

...Only for his backjet to hit by the human bot’s laser, and causing him to crash into another.

“BRRZZTT-G-gotta call Mobotropolis...”

Rotor couldn’t help but hum a bit, as he finally finished working on the engines. “Finally, Sky Patrol’s flightworthy! Wonder what the rest of the gang’s gonna think when they get ba-”

Suddenly, though, his comm started beeping. It was Gemerl. Rotor answered.

“Hello, you’ve reached the walrus! Please leave a message at the-”

“ROTOR! I-KRRRZT-I DON’T KNOW IF I CAN HANDLE THEM FOR-KRRRZT-LONG!”

...Oh, this did not sound good.

“W-what’s going on?”

“THE-KRRRZZTT-KING! WARN THE-KRRRZZTT-KING! EGGMAN’S BOTS ARE ATTACKING ME! EGGMAN’S-” Andddd, with that, Gemerl was cut off.

“Oh, crap, oh, crap, oh, crap!”

The purple walrus started running as fast as he could toward Acorn Castle.

True to the title, half of this issue takes place in the Sonic Boom world with Sticks, along with the plans doctors Wily and Eggman have with our heroes. Beats me why Alia and Signas of Mega Max X are on here, as they aren’t represented at all in this crossover...

Still a neat cover, though this variant is the most favourable. xD

Team Trinity Meets The Phantom Thieves: The Phantom Palace of the Robotniks

If you remember the Phantom Ruby from Team Trinity's past, then you would know that it's nothing but trouble and disappeared with the Glitcher at the climax of the Phantom War. Everyone thought they have seen the last of it. Well... they technically have, the real one anyway. But Queen Jade has an idea that will make things very interesting for our heroes... and even introduce them to some new friends from another world. We start with Crystal going through some old files in the Robotniks' super computer and she found the files on the Phantom Ruby. And it caused her to have an idea

"Ruby, get over here! For once, I require your assistance!"

"You sure you didn't just call me over just to be close to me~?"

"Enough of your deluded fantasies...! I need your powers for a little experiment of mine..."
