Siracusa. Affari milionari, sotto indagine il marchese Di Gresy: a giudizio per truffa e appropriazione indebita
Tumblr media
SIn the wake of a judicial storm. The Marquis Di Gresy has ended up at the center of an investigation that sees him accused of fraud, sent to trial in Switzerland, and embezzlement.
At the top of the Luxembourg companies The Pearl Sarl first and then Virtus Estates,  he allegedly defrauded wealthy investors by convincing them to invest in some bonds. As reported by a well-known national newspaper, “La Stampa”, he promised interests in the multi-zero range. But the money, at least according to investigators, was diverted to other satellite companies and used for personal interests.  For example, to the Elemanata Maddalena company to build about fifty villas in Sicily, renovate another. And to create a luxury resort in the Pillirina area, on the Ionian coast. “I inherited the land from my mother,” Emanuele Di Gresy explained during questioning.  “There was an initial development project in 2014 that did not bear fruit due to environmental law issues. I therefore looked for other investors in the post-pandemic period.”
Investigations and matters under investigation
Under the spotlight of the investigators, again according to “La Stampa” with an article by Irene Famà, deals ended from 2014 to 2016 worth around six million euros. And various projects. One involving a property in London, another in Mauritius.
Also under investigation, this time in Vercelli, Piedmont, in an investigation by the Guardia di Finanza for fraud and criminal association for the purpose of fraud, is the financial promoter. A sort of intermediary, according to the Piedmont prosecutor's office. And thanks to his consultancy, several people would have entrusted Di Gresy with large amounts of capital to invest in operations in the Principality of Monaco and in London. In Monte Carlo, the indictment states, Di Gresy, through his company, would have signed the preliminary purchase agreement for a prestigious property, Villa Hortensia, and then diverted the millionaire proceeds to his company and his accounts.
Di Gresy's statements
The Marquis Di Gresy, however, reports through a note from his lawyer Paolo Coppola that he  “received from the Court of Lugano notification of an indictment where he is accused of unfaithful management following an ongoing dispute between a company (of which di Gresy was on the Board of Directors in a period subsequent to the facts in dispute) and some private individuals who had subscribed to bonds issued by said company. The dispute is the subject of a vigorous dispute by Emanuele di Gresy and he reports that he is awaiting the setting of the relevant hearing to which he will submit his defense to the Court of Lugano”.

The luxurious retreat was held at the lavish Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa, a five-star destination famous for its panoramic views and high-class facilities. Staying in luxurious two-bedroom villas, starting from £900 per night, the group indulged in the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Number 10, CC BY-SA 2.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0, via Wikimedia Commons The main highlights of the trip were private yacht charter; the friends would sunbath and take in the cool ocean view while sipping cocktails on the warm sun of Mauritian. They also took a special prepared breakfast platter in the private pool of their villa-a taste of luxury well complemented to the mood of the celebratory vacation. A Happy Celebration She posted the lovely memories in Instagram to her 8.3 million followers. Holly created a touching tribute for her girlfriend Nicole as the lady marked her birthday, becoming 50 years on 7th December. "The most special trip for the most special girl in the most special place," she said. "Putting the world to rights, laughing until we cried, moon and sun bathing, beach dancing. just the best time celebrating our Darlin Nic! Happy birthday to our beautiful girl!" Her post was a colorful Instagram reel, embracing the essence of their trip. From beachside fun to full-of-laughter nights, Holly's tribute fitted how beautiful she feels about her bond with Nicole and their friends. She also thanked the resort for their warm hospitality and their impeccable service. "Thank you @beachcomber_hotels @trouauxbichesbeachcomber for looking after us so well. Feeding us the yummiest food, special thanks to Prateema for all the care and kindness," Holly wrote. The birthday celebrations of Nicole did not end with the idyllic holiday. Back home, her husband, Stephen Haines, surprised her with an intimate dinner party featuring extravagant decor, including a pink balloon arch and a grand dining table adorned with decadent balloons. Even her celebrity friends could not remain immune to the attention of Nicole's milestone birthday. Christine Lampard, Emma Bunton, and Myleene Klass shared their birthday wishes for the singer on Instagram. A defining feature of their public lives has been the long-lasting friendship between Holly and Nicole. The pair recently reunited for the biopic premiere of Better Man, a film concerning Nicole's former partner, Robbie Williams. Nicole and Robbie's on-and-off relationship lasted for two years from 1997 to 1999, and Robbie himself since described his behavior during the time as not exactly good. This film is described as a quirky musical biopic. It follows the journey of Robbie to stardom, his struggles, and resurgence. In a bold creative decision, Robbie plays himself as a CGI chimpanzee, which he says he fully embraced. "I love eccentricity and unusual, surreal concepts," he said, praising director Michael Gracey's inventive approach. From serene mornings by the pool to glamorous yacht adventures, Holly and her friends made sure that Nicole’s 50th was an unforgettable experience. The celebrations epitomized the essence of friendship, joy, and living in the moment. Whether relaxing on a sun-drenched beach or sharing heartfelt laughter under the moonlight, the trip to Mauritius was a perfect tribute to a beloved friend marking a significant milestone.
