Next post regarding the LU boy's adventure items

This time it's about shared items or items that are similar enough to lead to group "activities"

Okay, Pegasus boots, bothe Four and Legend have them, however Time might not have Pegasus boots but he has the rabbit hood, this has potential for them having races to see who's faster (and if Legend cheats a bit by using a Pegasus seed to run even faster no one will ever know), I can also see wind stealing the rabbit hood to race them.

The slingshot, I've noticed a lot of the Links have slingshots, Twilight has one, Sky has one that when upgraded shoots multiple seeds, Four has a slingshot (FSA), Time has a slingshot as well, Legend also has an upgraded slingshot (Hyper slingshot in OoS), potential for slingshot competitions, or their slingshots getting mixed up and due to being from different materials, sizes and qualities they have a hard time using the others slingshots. Twilight just casually pulls out the hawkeye to aim better and everyone laughs because he looks funny.

Magic boomerangs, basically most of them have regular boomerangs, however Legend (oracle games), Hyrule (Tloz 1), Four (MC) have a magic boomerang and Twilight has a magic wind boomerang (it has the wind fairy inside, why does no one ever talk about that).

Fishing rods, Time, Wind (Phantom Hourglass) and Twi can go regular fishing while Wild just bombs the hell out of the river.

Explosives, okay, hear me out, plenty of links have bombchus (Legend in OoA, Wind in PH, Time), Four has remote bombs (MC) like Wild, Twilight has bomblings (similar to bombchus but they're insect like) and underwater bombs, Time also has the Blast mask (MM) the destructive explosion potential of these guys (without counting the bombos medallion).

Arson gang, I know we usually think Wild and Wind are the arsonists, mainly because wind likes mischief and Wild is just Wild, and Four gets incorporated sometimes thanks to red and his fire rod (I'm just saying, I fully believe Four himself as a compound of the colours has potential to be a little shit and an arsonist, no red influence needed), but Legend has like 2 fire rods at least (alttp, albw), a magic rod that works like fire and the fire gloves, how is that dude not considered a part of the arsonist gang please, he's such a little shit as well no matter how much sarcasm and broodiness he's surrounded by, also, twilight literally blew up a bomb storage by setting fire to the place during his adventure, just saying... Hyrule can join with his own magic rod as a treat. And also, let Time join with Din's Fire, he was a menace in the war of ages, let him be a menace as a grown up. It turns out Warriors has a fire rod, he can join the arson activities to release stress. All links are arsonists confirmed.

Magnetism, hear me out, Wild has magnesis, Twi has the ball & chain (metal) and iron boots (magnetic), Time and Wind have iron boots as well (also magnetic), legend has his magnet gloves and Four has magnet gloves and in addition he IS magnetic (the logic behind that is besides me, maybe it's related to the elemental magic he has or something). The potential por Wild and/or Legend suddenly finding out Four is magnetic in the most anticlimactic and hilarious way (accidentally attracting him with their abilities). Wild using magnesis to mess around with Wind, Twi and Time when they have the boots on or using it to carry them around or get them places and obviously Wild using magnesis to steal the ball and chain from Twi. I've been told Warriors also has a chain & ball, wild definitely will mess with it when he fails at stealing it from Twi.

Legend and Four use flippers to swim and I think it's hilarious that Legend has apparently never learnt to swim because he used them in all his adventures, apparently Four can in fact swim in FS so he did learn how to swim in the end. Those two would drown without them. Also, I think Twi, Sky, Time and Wild are the only ones that know how to swim without any extra gear (they get things for breathing under water like the Zora armour or Water dragon Scale or Zora scale, or swim faster and climb up waterfalls in wild's case) wind knows how to swim but he gets no extra gear. Technically the only ones who can't swim and don't have gear to swim are Hyrule (yes, the guy who uses a raft to cross rivers) and Wars (I need people to not automatically give him swimming abilities unless I'm missing something from Hyrule Warriors).

Digging. There's Links who have used shovels, Legend has used one in the oracle games, Wind has one in Phantom hourglass and then two links have digging mitts with different capacities (Four and his mole mitts, Sky and his mogma mitts). Imagine you're just casually digging up something with a shovel meanwhile one buddy of yours is digging up a cave and the other one is digging tunnels underground, I particularly find it hilarious that it's both Links who have adventures above the clouds who have the best digging abilities. Four also has a shovel but the mitts are just superior.

And now, one of those things that further confirm the characters that can use light magic, Legend, Time, Wind and Four use light arrows in their adventures, in addition Legend, Time and Wind use fire and ice arrows. Hyrule just said "fuck you" and used silver arrows because he's just that cool.

I want Legend, Four and Sky to cause mayhem with their gust jars and gust bellows respectively, bonus points if Wind joins with his Deku leaf and Wild just pulls a deku leaf of his as well.

Hammer gang, Legend, Four, Wind and Time have hammers and Hyrule has a glove specifically for smashing blocks, they could be menaces. (Also, consider Four and even Legend have extra practice with hammers from being in the forge, they would be terrifying with a hammer). Bonus points for Time just casually lifting whole as columns and slamming them on the ground. It seems Warriors has a hammer as well, he can join the hammer gang.

Also, can you imagine the reaction of the guys who have a simple hookshot (Time, Wind, Legend, Warriors) to Twilight and Sky's double hook shots.

Final thing is, imagine in order to get up a ledge Hyrule casually pulls out the stepladder, wild starts climbing (they're used to that at least), and four makes a whole in the ground with a shovel and uses the cane of pacci to shoot himself upwards, then Legend says fuck it and pulls out the tornado rod. There's so much potential for fun moments in fics or full on crackfics.

Master List

The first time you met the hero of time you were standing guard in front of the entrance to Lon Lon Ranch. You had been hired by Ingo to make sure unsavory folks didn’t make their way in…which is hard when he catered to the most unsavory there was. With castle town taken over and the princess gone it seemed that Hyrule would never come back from being under Ganon’s thumb. Seeing the boy…man(?), who was around your age approach, you fixed your slouched posture, hand over the hilt of your sword. You eyed the young man in a green tunic wearily, asking him to state his business. With blue eyes filled with passion, looking a bit concerned even, you had decided to let him pass…perhaps he’ll help poor Malon who had been mistreated ever since you first started working. 

It was later that night when you had talked to Malon about the strange man when she explained that he had come seven years ago. How she had called him fairy boy due to the blue sprite that followed him about, and how she was glad to see him once more, even if the circumstances weren’t the best. You went to bed that night wondering why you couldn’t seem to get his determined expression out of your mind…it was too bad you had never seen him again.

The first time you met Link was when you were lugging two pails of milk, trying your hardest not to let a drop spill over. His bright blonde hair stood out against the rolling green of the hill that was Lon Lon Ranch. You had been hired as a stablehand by Talon, helping with any chore you could alongside his daughter Malon. You nodded towards the young man who watched you with curious eyes…odd. Ignoring him, you continued with your daily tasks, watching Malon greet him from the corner of your eye, curious as to who he was. 

Bonding was easy once he started to help out on the farm as well, finding yourself teasing him as he ran from the cuccos, when a horse tried to eat his hair, or when a cow just would not for the life of him let him clean her stall. You were quickly endeared by Link, feeling your heart drop every time he was called by the palace to help establish peace with one thing or another. You weren’t sure what the royal castle would want for a mere farmhand…it was odd. Link was odd…but you found that all the more charming.

You weren’t sure why the nickname slipped past your lips one day. Fairy boy. You hadn’t seen him with a fairy before, but for some reason it felt natural. The way Link whipped his head towards you, eyes wide and jaw slack, you felt as if you had made a mistake. You had tried to backtrack, explaining how it came out of nowhere, but he dropped it, merely shaking his head and muttering how he had an old fairy friend he was looking for. So it was only natural that the next time you went to Castle Town on a goods run, you had rushed to the library, searching all you could for fairies and anything related. Apparently they liked sweets and shiny objects, and would heal a person in great need. Interesting. 

You had asked Malon to help you place a small bowl of water with sugar cubes on the far side of the farm, lying through your teeth about how you always wanted to see a fairy in real life. Confused, but understanding she had helped. It had become a part of your routine from then on to check the bowl, asking any fairy that you caught if they had known Link or another fairy who knew him, and restocking it when necessary. You didn’t even know the name of the fairy you were searching for, but you were trying your best. As well as trying to keep your little mission under wraps, not wanting Malon to ask too many questions, and wishing to surprise Link if you ever do end up finding his old friend.

Too bad things didn’t seem to want to go your way. 

The sun had been setting, Malon was finishing up putting the animals away, Link had been called to Castle Town days ago, and you stood with two fairies, one sitting on your shoulder and the other flying around your face. You spoke in hushed whispers as the fairies returned in kind with bell-like jingles. You couldn’t understand a word they were saying, but they were trying their best with gestures and shapes…only for the one in front of you to join its friend on your shoulder, both huddling together. Confused, you turned around only to be face to face with Link, bandage covering his right eye. You felt your heart drop, hands instinctively rising to hold his face only to hesitate. 

Your worry clearly shined on your face as Link softly took your outstretched hand and placed it on his cheek, a warm blush littering his cheeks. Questions rolled off your tongue a mile a minute, asking your friend what had happened and if he was okay. A deep chuckle rumbled through his chest, he had surely grown since you both were teens years ago, soothing your worries quietly with fond eyes. You were too panicked to notice. Timidly, one of the fairies flew off your shoulder, approaching the tall man. Link watched on warmly as it tried its best to heal any damage it could, letting Link take off the bandage. 

You had gasped at the sight, a fresh scar ran from the center of his forehead, over his eye, down to the center of his cheek. Your thumb gently caressed the raised skin, frustration bubbling under your skin. You had grown to love the man, romantically, platonically, you didn’t care, but you loved him one way or another, and it made you burn with rage every time he came back hurt. The other fairy who stayed on your shoulder tried to comfort you, jingling softly and hugging your cheek. They were lucky they were cute, as it tugged a small smile out of you. 

If you were to tell Link when he was the hero of time that he would end up not only courting, but marrying the attractive guard he met at Lon Lon Ranch all those years ago, he would have blushed and denied such claims. Yet fate is funny, as in this lifetime you had never really held a sword at all, more accustomed to carrying large crates and corralling animals. And you had decided that you wouldn’t mind being tied to such a man as him, merely stating that someone had to look after him. Even if he couldn’t provide you with all you were owed, you’d merely smile and tell him that all they wanted was him, and that was something he was more than willing to give you. His body, mind and soul were yours until the end of time.

Duck. Dodge. Punch. Repeat.

The wizzrobe before you was growing incredibly frustrated. Most of its spells seemed to simply glance off of you with no effect. Others simply stung, leaving angry red marks where they touched your skin. You socking it in the face repeatedly probably just upset it further.

You were different from your traveling companions. Your ears were round. You had never wielded a sword. Magic seemed to have no effect on you. Oh, and you could bench press a Lynel without breaking a sweat.

Link swung his sword, slashing at the wizzrobe’s back. The thing cried out, flying up toward the ceiling of the room.

How had it gotten like this? The chain had entered the dungeon together, but now it was only you and Link. You hadn’t even seen them leave. You had been talking with Link, and when you turned around, the rest of the chain was simply. Gone.

The wizzrobe muttered something to itself in its strange language. It held its hands in front of itself, and you realized, perhaps too late, that it was chanting something. An orb of dark energy appeared between its palms. You didn’t even have time to think when it flung the spell at Link. You just knew whatever it was would be bad news if it hit him. You sprinted towards him, trying to get between him and the spell. Unfortunately, you were just a bit too slow. The energy hit your back, but you weren’t able to shield Link completely. You aren’t sure where it hit him, but right now it felt like your bones were on fire.

You screamed, falling to the floor. Behind you, the wizzrobe snickered, and you heard the damned thing teleport away. Great. Groaning, you got up. You muscles screamed at you in protest, demanding a break you couldn’t give them yet.

“Ugh, stupid wizzrobe,” you sigh before deciding to check in on your traveling partner. “You okay?”

Your voice sounded weird. Had your ears popped? Man, that spell had hurt.

Sky

“Um, Y/N?” You hear a voice say. It sounds vaguely familiar, but it definitely wasn’t any of the Links, especially not the one you had been with during the fight. You whip your head towards the speaker, only to be met with your own face.

You look at the thing wearing your face. Generally speaking, things that took your likeness were bad news. You mind races with different possibilities. Shadow clone? Skinwalker? Mirror dimension? You brace for a fight, only to feel an unfamiliar weight in your hand. Strange. You look down, wondering if you had picked something up without noticing.

Was that the freaking Master Sword????

You look at the sword in your hand, then down at your clothes. This is not the outfit you put on this morning, but you recognize it. Green tunic. White cape. You put a hand to your mouth in shock, but then you feel a structure that is very much not your face under your fingertips.

“Sky???” You turn to the thing with your face and it grimaces.

“Present.” He smiles, one of the corners of his (your?) mouth slightly higher than the other. The expression is cuter when it’s on his face, you think.

“What.” You motion at him (you??). He shrugs.

“I have no idea. My best guess is that the wizzrobe swapped us? Like now I’m in your body?” Sky looks down at his new form, turning to examine his new arms. He furrowed his eyebrows and pokes at his bicep. “Wow. I never realized how big your muscles are. I feel like I could pick up Epona, now.”

You feel your new face grow hot at his comment. Oh, but that did remind you.

“Uhh, do you want Fi back?” You hold the sword out to him, only to be shocked by how much effort it takes to hold it up with your arm fully extended. Thankfully, Sky takes it.

“Thanks.” He points to the room’s entrance, currently blocked by the metal bars that had swung into place right after you had entered the room and shortly before the wizzrobe had attacked. “Guess we’re stuck for a while.”

“What do you mean?” You give him a quizzical look. He gives you one back.

“The only door to the room is locked. Normally, it would open when we defeated the monster in the room, but I think it… left?”

“Just bend the bars.” You grin.

“Bend the giant metal bars? With what?” He glances around the room, searching perhaps for a tool you had seen that he hadn’t. The room is empty.

“You’ve got my body now!” You laugh. “If this place was made by anything that lives in Hyrule, Lorule, Termina, etc., it should be a piece of cake! Honestly, all your buildings are so fragile it’s a headache to not ruin stuff when we go into a town.”

“Wait, really?” Sky tilts his head. “You’re that strong?”

“You have seen me punch a hole through a guardian from Wild’s era with my bare hands.” You deadpan. He nods nervously, places the Master Sword in its sheath, and grabs the bars. As expected, the metal bends with almost no effort on Sky’s part. He pauses for a moment, as if shocked by his strength. You skip past him.

“Come on! Let’s go find the others. I bet Rulie can fix this. I do not like being this short.” You smirk.

“Hey! I’ll have you know I’m above average height for a Hylian! You’re just freakishly tall!” He laughs, following you down the hall.

Four

“Peachy,” someone says. Strange. That voice sounds vaguely familiar, but it certainly wasn’t Four’s. You look up, only to be inches away from your own face. Both you and the… other you? yelp, jumping backwards. You land less than gracefully on your butt.

“Ow,” you groan, rubbing your tailbone. Weird. Since when did hitting the ground hurt so much?

“Who are you?” The other you stares at you, eyes wide.

“Me? You’re the one wearing my face! Who the heck are you?” You scowl.

“I didn’t split, did I?” The other you looks confused. “No, can’t be. The Four Sword is right-” They reach up, as if to grab a sword from their back. But you’ve never worn a sword on your back, and whatever the thing was had copied your entire outfit, including your lack of a weapon. The other you curses, turning to look behind itself. Looking for something?

You decide it doesn’t matter. Now’s your chance to overpower it. If it’s just an illusion, it should be easy to grapple the thing and force it to tell you where the heck Four and the wizzrobe went. If it’s a perfect copy, it might be a bit harder, but that’s a future you problem.

“What did you do with Four you weird Skinwalker wannabe!” You cry, flinging yourself at the other you. Then you feel yourself hitting the wall. What?

Your head spins as you slide to the floor, struggling to take air into your lungs. You see the other you, a shocked expression on its face. One of its arms was raised. It must have thrown you off as soon as it felt you grab it. So it had copied your strength. Great.

“Wait… Y/N???” The other you’s mouth hangs open. It slowly approaches, and you pull yourself to your feet. You’re barely taller than its waist. Oh. Oh no.

“Four???” You need to crane your neck to look at his (your?) face. You quickly decide that being short is horrible and you would like to go back to being at least a head taller than everyone else in Hyrule. Even if you kept bruising your forehead on low doorways.

“Oh, thank Hylia.” He laughs, swiping the hair away from his face. “For a second I thought there was another me again.”

“What do you mean ‘again’?” You cross your arms.

“Long story.” He smiles.

“Don’t tell me you have an evil clone of yourself, too.” You groan. “Time’s is bad enough. I don’t want to deal with two.”

“Oh, no. Well, not any more, I don’t think.” He looks at the ground. “Although I do wonder where he’s gone, given the situation.”

You look at the ground he’s staring at. Nothing particularly interesting, just stones. The torch behind you makes your shadow stretch across the floor. Before you can ask what he’s even talking about, your shadow waves.

“What the heck!?” You jump back, as if that would separate you from your own shadow.

“Huh. I guess he’s your problem now.” Four chuckles. Your shadow makes a rude gesture. Four makes one back.

“Please tell me I’m hallucinating.” You sigh. Was his shadow alive? How was that even possible? You missed home, where magic was confined to books and movies and shadows obeyed the laws of physics. “This is some Peter Pan type BS, right here.”

“It’ll be fine.” Four waves his hand, shooing away your comment like a bothersome fly. “I’m sure this is temporary.”

“Fine.” You nod at the shadow. “Nice to meet you, I guess. I would have introduced myself earlier if Four had told me you existed.” You shoot the Hylian in question a scolding look.

“Sorry. There was just never a good time to bring it up.” He winces. Outside of the room, down the hallway, you hear the unmistakable sound of wizzrobe laughter. If you kill that stupid thing, maybe the spell will reverse.

“We can talk about this after I get my body back.” You motion towards the laughter. “Let’s go. Being short sucks.”

“Hey!”

Time

“I’m alright.” You hear a voice say. It’s not Time’s, but you’re so disoriented you can’t seem to care. Your head is swimming and your vision seems funny. Not blurry. Just… off.  Like a part is missing. You reach up, touching your face, and freeze.

One of your eyes is closed, and you can feel the ridges of an old scar tracing over your eyelid and down your cheek. It’s not your face, but you know exactly who it does belong to. You look up, only to see your own face staring back.

“Great.” You groan, picking yourself up off the ground and dusting off your legs. The armor you're wearing clinks against itself quietly, the weight unfamiliar on your shoulders. “Just great.”

“What am I looking at?” Time asks with your voice. You cringe.

“We got swapped.” You hold out your hand to help him off the floor. He takes it. His grip is crushing, and you pull away, causing him to fall back down. “Ack! Dude, watch the hand!”

“Sorry. I’m not used to… this.” He trails off as he watches you pry the now very bent metal piece off of the glove on your hand.

“It’s fine.” You lie. Your hand throbs, and there’s a non-zero chance that he just broke one of your (his?) bones. “Just be careful, okay? You Hylians are kind of delicate.” You hold out your other hand.

“What is that supposed to mean?” He raises an eyebrow, but gingerly grabs your hand and hoists himself to his feet.

“I have picked all nine of you up, at once, on more than one occasion. You guys are light and I’m strong,” you remind him. “You do realize I need to be careful not to break, like, all of the bones in your body, right?”

“I hadn’t thought about that.” He frowns and looks down at his new body. “It does feel like I’m wearing multiple power bracelets.”

“That’s not even the worst part about being human.” You chuckle. “Wait til you realize you can’t eat half the food Wild makes now.”

“Wait, really?” Time looks utterly perplexed. “I had no idea! Why didn’t you say anything?”

“Like I needed to give you more gray hairs.” You pick up a chunk of bangs to illustrate your point. “It’s fine.”

“We will be discussing this later.” He sighs, massaging his temples. Somehow, he makes even your voice sound like a tired dad’s. “One thing at a time, though. Let’s see if we can find that wizzrobe and reverse this. Or at least get out and consult the traveler on this magic.”

Suddenly, a horrible idea pops into your head.

“Orrrr…”

“Or what?” He raises an eyebrow.

“How long do you think it would take them to notice we swapped?” You watch the gears turn in Time’s head as he thinks about your idea. You’re half worried he’s about to scold you, but then a downright evil grin graces his face.

“I bet we could get away with it for a few hours, at least.”

LU Detroit Become Human/Android AU

I should start this by saying that I’ve never played the game myself but I really love the concept! I do apologize if things are messy though, this really just spilled out of me 😭 for anyone who doesn’t really know Detroit Become Human, it’s basically a future America where a huge company makes hyper realistic androids who have different jobs. They all have the ability to deviate which is basically just them breaking past their coding and developing a conscience/sentience (and I would say a soul). The company obviously doesn’t like this and tries to stop this. If anything, this is just my take on an Android AU.

Anyways, here’s it in context of LU

Sky: Bodyguard Android

starts to deviate when he starts forming an attachment to Sun

She gets kidnapped in a political scheme. His handlers try to bench him but he fully deviates and goes out by himself to find her. 

He’s probably a newer model or gets upgraded regularly. Sun is sentimental so she tries to make sure to keep him because he’s familiar in her busy life. (She’s the daughter to the president or whoever the head of state is)

He manages to find and rescue Sun but not without suffering a lot of damage. Especially electrical damage.

Sun is touched. She doesn’t care that her savior is an android at all and she especially doesn’t care that Sky is deviated. She loves him too. She tells him that she could always tell that he was different…

It pains her, breaks her heart, but she sends Sky away for his own good.

Four: Different androids downloaded into a child model 

Four is the combination of 4 different deviated androids uploaded into a child model. 

Red, Blue, Green, and Vio (these are like perfect names for robots) all “worked” in the same company. It’s like a big sales department or something like that. 

Red is a nanny bot for the building’s daycare, Blue is a security bot, Green is a secretary bot, and Vio is basically a filing bot

They all deviate separately. When it’s found that they’re deviating they’re all destroyed on company grounds and dumped in the landfill. (It’s cheaper to do this rather than send them back)

Green managed to wake up. He’s broken beyond repair but he manages to spot an empty child android near their dumping spot. He takes pity on the others and somehow manages to upload them all into one body.

Shadow is a virus in the bot they all share. He got so big that somehow he developed a consciousness of his own. (Probably the reason the model was discarded in the first place. Imagine you’re grieving so you get a child android and it starts going ‘evil mode’)

Somehow they all make this work, Shadow included.

Time: Repurposed as a farm Android

Time started out as a child android but was recycled to be used in a small military project. 

This project is the predecessor to the one Wars is in so it’s mostly just an experiment.

Time starts to deviate because whoever was supposed to wipe all of his previous hardware, THE CHILD HARDWARE, messed up and left a good portion of it behind along with his memory bank. 

So now Time is basically child coding in an adult model being forced to learn how to commit acts of violence. It doesn’t mesh well with his former programs and he deviates. 

He escapes and immediately gets swiped up and sold to a pawn shop.

Eventually Talon buys him for extra hands on his ranch.

Time starts to really enjoy this. He takes to the farm lifestyle really well. Malon also is really great. He loves having a friend. 

As she grows, he finally gets to grow, mentally at least. It’s a weird experience for him because a good amount of his programming was never meant to grow past a child state. 

Malon and Talon realize that he’s a deviant and probably has been for a long time. They don’t care and vow to protect him. He’s family. 

Malon and Time fall in love and take over the ranch. Slowly it becomes a safe space for other deviants.

Twilight: Officer Android (Turned wolf)

Twilight is an officer android at a women’s prison. 

A lot of the people there actually like Twilight a lot because he is not cruel or condescending like a lot of the human officers and he’s kind of easy to get stuff out of.

They can mess with Twilight’s programming enough to get extra stuff from the commissary or help with their jobs. Twilight is very helpful. He’s also programmed to know their rights and local social programs so he’s very useful to have around before court dates.

Midna is an android activist who had gotten incarcerated. She slowly gets Twilight to trust her and eventually convinces him to help her break out. He doesn’t realize it, but she’s been slowly getting him to deviate as well. 

When the break out happens, Midna gets away and Twilight gets captured. She feels awful knowing that he’s likely going to be destroyed.

Instead he’s used in some experiments where they try to plant human focused hardware into android (can androids be animals???) animals. They put him into a wolf dog that would usually be meant to assist police. 

This is a miserable experience for Twilight, especially now that he’s deviated.

Midna, who’s poked around to see if she can save Twilight from being pulverized, stages a rescue mission and gets him out. She sends him somewhere she things will be safe.

Wind: Child Model in a retirement home

Wind is a child android that’s used in a retirement home to bring joy and to lift the spirits of the residents there. 

At first he doesn’t even realize that he’s deviated until Granny, his secret favorite resident, mentions it to him. Turns out a lot of the old folks knew but they didn’t care bc Wind is so charming and they really do love him.

For a while he continues as normal, just with the knowledge that he’s loved. If anything he performs better. 

One day Ayrll, the granddaughter of Granny, is visiting. Another resident gets really confused and tries to grab her, hurting and scaring her. Wind uses physical force to separate them, something not in his coding at all.

The retirement home doesn’t want to do extra paperwork so they get rid of Wind by tying him up and dropping him off a boat. (The retirement home is on the ocean)

Tetra later fishes him up and brings him back online. 

Tetra is very happy to have a “maid bot” which pisses Wind off a lot. She lives in a multigenerational home so she’s excited to do less chores. 

They all figure out that Wind is deviated but they don’t care. They all take him under their wing and fully still expect him to do chores

Legend: Standard Household Android 

Legend is an earlier model of a household Android. He’s been bought and sold 6 DIFFERENT times.

The first time was from his uncle who didn’t actually want him for his programming. He was a lonely old man and Legend was on sale. He treats Legend like a person and when he passes away Legend starts to deviate. 

Legend is auctioned off in an estate sale and some people from outside the country buy him. He travels around with a group that does environmental work and performs aid programs for a while. Everyone there also treats him pretty friendly. On a boat ride back to the mainland a storm hits and Legend goes overboard trying to protect people on the deck.

He washes up on a small island where a girl Marin finds him and repairs him. She, and nobody on the island, treats him like an android at all. He fully deviates and enjoys living like a person. The storm comes back and decimates the island. Marin is gone.

The people who come to offer aid recognize Legend as a deviated android and ship him back to be tested on. 

There he meets Ravio, who is the same exact model as him. Ravio is meant to be compared to Legend so they can study differences in deviant and non deviant androids. 

Legend manages to escape wherever they’re keeping him one day and bumps into Ravio during his attempt to escape. Ravio has never left the series of offices he first woke up in. He’s not fully deviated but he wants to know freedom. He and Legend escape together. 

Hyrule: Medical Android (hospital setting)

Hyrule is one of the first medical androids. Unlike the more modern medical androids, he has a lot of built in programs and functions that newer models don’t have.

He has a built in defibrillator, inhaler, but most uniquely he can make drugs and medicine on the spot. These would be things that paramedics tend to carry like morphine,epinephrine, ketamine. Also more simple things like cold medicines.

His kind was discontinued due to a lot of legal actions taken by companies under big pharma. It’s too convenient, and cheap, to have robots who are programmed to help anybody in need distributing drugs for free. Also some issues with drug dealers stealing his model to have them continuously producing drugs to sell.

He gets discarded, thankfully through illegal means so instead of being sent to a processing facility he’s dumped behind the hospital in a dumpster. 

He spends years wandering the streets in shadier parts of the city aiding people who need it. He doesn’t know when he deviated but it happened slowly. 

He’s hunted by both gangs who want to use him to make drugs. He’s also hunted by the corporation that made him believe that older models that have deviated hold vital information to how it happens in the first place and he’s part of the last of his kind so they want to dissect him. 

Warriors: Soldier Android (Secret military project)

Warriors is part of a military project to use androids as soldiers. This is probably breaking a lot of international treaties so it’s kept as a secret. 

He was meant to be a “captain” Android, one that can over power other android’s programming to control them.

One of the people working on the project becomes infatuated with him. Cia 😭. She steals him and takes him home. 

This is nowhere near as fun as she thought it would be because he doesn’t have a lot of social programming. He just walks around her house and barks orders at the microwave and tells her what strategies they can use if her apartment is attacked.

She buys pleasure bot hardware that has a “boyfriend” program on it because this is becoming unbearable.

Uploading the hardware causes Wars to IMMEDIATELY deviate because this is not at all what he was built to do. It actually corrupts some of his programming.

He’s confused and scared while Cia is exuberant. Finally she has a proper boyfriend. She can ignore the glitching and bugs because at least Wars isn’t yelling at her computer anymore. 

Unfortunately for her, Wars was developed to be a strategic war machine, boyfriend hardware or not, so he identifies her as a threat because she hurt him. His new hardware, however, makes him not want to hurt her. So, he runs away.

Wild: Lab Assistant Android

Wild was an assistant to some brilliant scientists in a lab and engineering facility.

He worked primarily with Flora who treated him like a robot in every way. She’s kind of creeped out by the idea of androids so she’s not really fond of having one around her all the time. He is useful though. 

Her coworkers treat the android a lot more humanly than she does for a while. Eventually she gets used to him and starts getting kinder and kinder. 

Wild starts to deviate but he desperately tries to hide it. He really enjoys the time he gets to spend with his friends.

One day something goes wrong and the lab starts to explode. Wild fully deviates to rescue Flora. He’s able to get her out just in the nick of time. He gets stuck inside though after a wall collapses and traps half of his body under rubble. He yells at her to run and so she does.

Wild comes back online with his memory files damaged or gone and half of his body melted and severely damaged. He can’t remember anything but he feels like a person. 

Eventually everyone ends up together on Time’s ranch but I really haven’t thought out a story ;•_•

 I hope this isn’t a confusing or messy read 😭 it really just kind of poured out of me. I’m aware there’s like a crazy amount of plot holes but I had a ton of fun writing this!! I might go back later and rewrite or try and clean this up. If you have any thoughts, questions, suggestions, (how to fill said plot holes 😭) please lmk!! I thrive off of interaction!!! This is the first post of may to come regarding items from the LU boys adventures, particularly I want to talk about items o would love to see mentioned in fics

We're starting off with Legend because he has a ton of items:

From alttp:

- cane of Byrna (creates a magic shield around him)

- cane of Somaria (creates blocks/platforms)

- magic cape (makes him invisible and immune to enemies)

- golden bee (attacks monsters, this one is just hilarious)

- Ether, quake and bombs medallions (I just think they're neat)

From the oracle games:

- seeds

- rings

- roc's cape

-Magnet (this one makes more sense in regards to FS link technically being magnetic in the game)

From link's awakening:

- Magic rod (works like the fire rod in a way, I love that he just has a rod for everything)

From ALBW:

- Hint glasses (to see hint ghosts and they're just so funny)

- Sand rod

- Tornado rod (the potential is unmatched)

From Triforce Heroes:

- Fire gloves (I haven't played this game but why did no one tell me he has gloves that shoot fireballs and create a fire shield, his potential for arson or an item of his being stolen for arson has increased exponentially)

- Water rod (he does have a rod for everything)

Okay, now onto Twilight

- Ball and chain (the mayhem wild could cause if he knew Twi has that thing)

- water bombs (you're telling me twilight has bombs that work underwater and we haven't made a single fic regarding that yet)

- Dominion rod (I just think it's neat, and we've seen it in the comic but barely in fics)

- Spinner (I love the spinner, imagine just a fic about them being in a random dungeon and all they need to get out is for him to spin on it in a mechanism, it's hilarious)

Next one is Hyrule:

From LOZ1:

- Magical rod (he has one as well, or is it actually legend's 🤔)

- Raft (dude legit used this to cross rivers, imagine he just pulls it out of nowhere to cross one, crackfic possibilities are unlimited)

- Stepladder (same as with the raft)

From Adventure of Link:

- Handy glove (everyone has power gloves or bracelets, this dude has a glove specifically for smashing stone blocks in dungeons, just perfect)

- Cross (it's a regular cross only it reveals invisible enemies that look like spirits, definitely not religiously inspired at all 😂)

- Link dolls (they have both fun and creepy potential)

Now onto Sky:

- Mogma mitts (he can dig and go through underground tunnels)

- Hook beetle (I love it and I think it should be more used in fics, put some respect on its awesomeness)

- Gust bellows (it releases wind gusts, think of the possibilities for fun fics)

- Whip (he has a whip, that's it, he's the only one in the chain who has a whip, he can use it to grab things and activate mechanisms that are far from him)

- Fire shield earrings (he's impervious to high temperatures)

It's Time's turn:

From OOT:

- Megaton hammer (let him smash things please)

- Hover boots (he can hover over nothingness with those)

- Golden gauntlets (these are used to extract pillars from the ground and throw them down so they break, destruction potential unmatched)

- Shard of agony (it allows you to see secrets like passages or locations, and it does it by releasing a low sounding tune the closer you get, the creepiness potential is amazing but it's also really useful)

- Din's fire (he could join the arson club with this ability)

- Nayru's love (he's now protected from damage until his magic energy runs out)

From Majora's Mask:

- pictograph box (he and wind can be pictograph buddies)

- Bremen Mask

-Blast Mask (let him blow things up please)

- Bunny hood

- Keaton mask ( imagine he just randomly makes a Keaton spawn, answers the question and gets a heart container to heal someone)

- Mask of truth (I love it's potential but it's always eclipsed by the lense of truth)

- Stone mask (you put this on, and guards just ignore you, 10/10)

- Gibdo mask (imagine time just walking up and casually chatting with a Gibdo)

- Giants mask (as the name implies, he becomes a legit giant, only it does rely on the magic meter)

Next up is Wind:

From Wind Waker:

- Telescope (let the pirate use his telescope)

- Grappling hook (he's the only one that has one and that is in addition to a hookshot)

- Pictobox (let him take pics you cowards)

- Deku leaf (he can use it to glide like Wild's parasail, or to release wind gusts)

- Skull hammer (let my boy smash stuff)

-Bait bag (I'd kill for a fic where the chain witnesses Wind mind controlling a seagull please)

It's now Four's time:

From Minish cap:

- gust jar (suck in air, release gusts of air...)

-Cane of pacci (I've seen a fic I think appreciating it and I think we need to tal more about it, it flips things over, Four uses it in holes in the ground to get propelled upwards)

- Mole mitts (he can dig now)

- Roc's cape

From Four Swords:

- Magnetic glove (because they're magnetic apparently, it's hilarious)

- Hammer (let them smash things up)

From Four Swords Adventure:

- Bombos and Quake medallions (yes, he uses those two in this game, imagine him just seeing Legend pull one of them out and he's like "oh, I used those in one of my adventures" and Legend is now having an even bigger crisis regarding Four)

And finally Wild:

I just think we don't dive into the potential of the elemental weapons in BOTW, that's all, and the Sheika tablet cryonis is one of the least exploited in fics (as far as I've seen)

I've been informed Warriors does have weapons, I want to see him use the ball and chain or the hammer now
