It drives me crazy how every single time someone mentions those tweets it gets like 500 notes going "ehrm ackshually OP☝️🤓 isn't this the person who gets paid on Patreon to post intentionally bad takes as bait?" (often with the implication that OP and everyone else who argues against this take is gullible for falling for the obvious bait) because like.

It's literally not true.

Rosa Carbó-Mascarell is a lead game designer at a company called LoveShark, you can literally google her and find her website and her linkedin and find out what company she works for. She also literally doesn't have a Patreon.

Someone here on tumblr either mistook her for someone else or made the whole thing up and then mentioned it with zero evidence like two years ago and people haven't stopped parroting it since on every single post that references this tweet.

And yeah like haha touch grass terminally online etc etc etc, I get how caring about the fact that people keep pushing this specific bit of misinformation might seem like caring too much about pointless internet discourse, but I think it's a very blatant demonstration of how, if we don't watch ourselves, we can end up uncritically accepting false information as long as it scratches the itch to go "well, actually" and feel smarter than someone else.

I hope the "What if Disco Elysium was about a witch finding her cat in the mountains" post never leaves the gaming discourse vernacular. It will never not be funny to me bc it's got all the Gamer Entitlement™ levels of CoD bros throwing hissy fits about "woke" shit but instead of being couched in far right reactionism it's the exact kind of "Kingdom of Conscience" style liberal outrage at anything with conviction and beliefs that DE waxed on about. Like even chuds who get mad that the game calls you out for being racist interact with the themes of DE better and understand them more than Cat Lady did.

I'm gonna start with a beauty here!

The Goblin shark (Mitsukurina owstoni) is a shark that lives deep in the ocean, although juveniles live a bit higher than their adult counterparts, but still deep!

These amazing sharks can live up to 60 years! They feed on teleost fish, celaphopods, crustaceans and more near the sea floor! They find their prey by using their electroreceptors! Another shark that has electroreceptors is the Lemon shark, which I might rate later!!

Despite their terrifying looks, they're passive to humans, and quite sluggish in nature, so no need to worry there! (Unless they take over the earth)

Overall, these sharks are super cool and have a lot of interesting features! 8/10
