Random REview :The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales

SO I was just browsing Criterion Channel and put on a movie at random,putting on the French/Belgian The Big Bad Fox And Other Tales .....And this movie is so cute I gotta talk bout it

I watched the English version by the way

this 2017 film is an anthology presented as three plays being presented by barnyard animals all with the same characters .The first segment Baby Delivery :Where Pig (Justin Edwards ) and his impulsive/not very bright friends Duck (Bill Baily ) and Rabbit (Adrian Edmondson ) are tasked sending a baby Pauline (Louie-Loveday O'Brien) by a Stork (Phil Whelans).The second segment The Big Bad Fox : where The Fox (Giles New) and the Wolf(Matthew Goode ) steal some chicken eggs ,only for the chicks to hatch and imprint on the Fox .In the third segment Saving Christmas ,Duck and Rabbit think they killed Father Christmas ,and thus resolve to save Christmas

This movie is like a warm hug .Its a very cozy movie,very sweet and very funny .I laughed a lot while watching this and the english cast especially Giles New,Matthew Goode ,Bill Bailey and Adrian Edmondson were top notch .The Big Bad Fox in particular is such a great story ,I kind of wish it was the whole movie ,though the first segment is hilarious too

If I have an issue its while the third segment is good,I didnt like it as much as the first two segments

Overall this is such a fun cozy film ,I highly reccomend it
