Ignoring how the song is very bubbly despite being a rather melancholic love song about someone waiting for their wandering lover to return...it starts off with a small ditty and a vocalist, but more instruments and complexities build up as the song goes along. Yumeyume by DECO*27 could be interpreted as so many things related to them my goodness. Tsukasa remembering his dream, Emu's side of the disbandment arc, Nene and Rui finding their passions again through WxS, there are so many angles you could see this from with them it's great.

If we're going for specific characters I have some for that too >:3

A lot of edu's songs give me WxS vibes. Hummingbird reminds me of Rui a lot, how they gave him a place to belong and be happy, I really want to do a full analysis post on its lyrics in relation to him someday. Daisy Fingers reminds me of Emu, her infectious happiness and how she leaves an impact on all she passes, but also on how she wouldn't be who she was if not for the others around her helping her feel happy and such.

Another Emu song to me is Lonely Rolling Star by Yoshihito Yano from Katamari Damacy. In my mind, it perfectly describes Emu's feelings towards her own "rolling stars", WxS, during the disbandment arc. She wants to cheer them on and support them as they go towards their dreams, but she doesn't want to be without them as they leave her and the Wonder Stage to pursue their bigger desires.

Though a rogue by night, Ruth was more of a scholar. Her interests lie more in archeology - in the tales behind the ruins of an ancient building, or what the artifacts changed by the passage of time had to say, among many more things. Her fascination of the stories all of these tell make her want to seek more, to fit in all the puzzle pieces and get the complete picture.

The prospect of discovering something no one else had before was something Ruth wanted to achieve, if she did that, she’d be real famous! But all of her efforts so far were in vain. At least, until one day… (cont.)

There was something about the Sages’ Charm that piqued her interest, but who wouldn’t be intrigued? It was a treasure displayed for all of Miitopia to see, a treasure that protected each and every one of its citizens from darkness. The great spirit within would emerge in the time of need and choose a hero worthy of the charm’s power.

The prophecy was not what pulled Ruth in, rather, it was the mystery behind the charm. She could never find out how or when it came to be, and any questions she tried to ask were turned down for whatever reason.

So if the normal way of inquiry didn’t work, Ruth might as well try to figure out the answers herself, even if she has to execute an elaborate crime to do so. But she did not know what this would all lead her to…

21. If you're a fic writer and have written for this character, what's your favorite thing to do when you're writing for this character? What's something you don't like? I really just love writing a character that's so happy! It's really fun, I love writing her :D I always worry that I'm making her ooc though, or that I'm making her seem dumb.

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character? I hc her as transfem actually, her grandfather was the first person she told, and he helped her pick out her name ^w^ she also is really good with children, and has a decent amount of muscle.

man for the longest time after starting t i found it harder to cry and stuff didn't make me tear up as easily but this past year i have become a complete crybaby i'm not sure what switched the waterworks back on but i just get so emotional over both real life things happening in my life that would give me that expected response to completely unexpected things, like the other day i watched the aristocats (one of my fav childhood movies) and tears were just gushing out of my eyes not even a few minutes in and multiple points throughout the movie and i did not fully understand why other than a nostalgia blast ? and just now i am watching a youtube video that used "lonely rolling star" from katamari damacy's ost and i was singing along to myself and started crying from that ????? i have listened to that song so many times before in my life but never had that response what the fuckkkkk. like i definitely don't cry as hard as i did before t (except for a few instances of really frightening stuff happening irl, truly felt like how i cried before t then) but i am wayyyy more prone to crying and actually able to produce tears than i have been the past almost 8 years since starting hormones and i am confused ??????????
