#Lindow's entire rescue arc

You know what i just realised? Something that just entered my head and i can’t stop thinking about?

What the fuck did Lindow eat while he was MIA?

I can’t imagine food was easily accessible or in plenty of supply (considering Aragami are eating absolutely everything) while he was out of commission, missing and thought to be dead. We know Shio was with him for a short amount of time, probably helping keep him fed. But what did she feed him? Did she know he needed edible food? Or did she give him random things that looked like food to her and he just....ate it? 

What did he eat when Shio was at the Far East?

We saw him killing Aragami even as he was suffering the effects of losing his armlet, mindlessly walking around in pain in flashbacks we see when we temporarily take up his recovered God Arc as a last ditch option.

Was he just killing Aragami for no reason?

Did he eat them?

And then when it had gotten to the point Lindow was walking around as an Aragami himself, a Hannibal, was he able to eat just about anything? We know Aragami can eat anything they put in their mouths. Did that extend to Lindow too? Was he able to digest anything he put in his stomach while he was becoming an Aragami? If he didn’t eat Aragami while he was still human, did he go around eating them as a Hannibal until we saved and brought him back to his human state?

Is Lindow the only God Eater that knows what it’s like to eat concrete? Buildings? Things that are generally not edible to people? Is he the only one who knows what Aragami taste like? What did he survive off of until he was rescued?

Lindow i need answers.

Just wanted to share my personal opinion on each of the arcs of God Eater Resurrection. SPOILERS!

The Burst Arc The second arc in the game revolving around the Hannibal Aragami as well as finding and saving Lindow who was lost early in the God Eater Arc.

This one is absolutely my favorite (11/10) for such a simple premise (find and save friend) everything about it was just...really good. I knew what Ren was pretty early on but that didn’t ruin the twist at all, the reveal still had me hyped because its so cool.

Lindow may not have been around long but he was cool, chill, it sucked that we lost him so early but being able to rescue him? I was so on board with that. Also this arc ended with Jaynix (Protag1) talking and that always wins for me.

Oh also the final battle against Corrosive Hannibal is my favorite final boss of this game.

The Resurrection Arc The third and final arc in the game revolving around the Second Nova Aragami born after the defeat of the Arda Nova at the end of the God Eater arc which also features a nice little resolution with Shio.

The only reason I put this arc over the first is because of the presence of the entire cast. This arc really feels like all the parts of Fenrir are working together to defeat a fearsome new enemy. The final get together in the base before the entire 1st Unit takes off to defeat the Arius Nova.

I found the Arius Nova to be the hardest Aragami to fight even if it is just a winged Dyaus Pita. Damn thing wiped me so many times. Then again I had CPU allies and they can only do so much but they did their best.

The God Eater Arc The first arc in the game, the introduction to the world. It’s a really great introduction that’s for sure. You learn about Aragami, God Eaters, Fenrir. The little scenes with Jaynix and Kota attending Sakaki’s lectures (and Alisa eventually joining in) are great, I just wish there were more of them.

Only reason I would put this one at the bottom is that the pacing is odd, it just speeds through things. I suspected either Johannes or Sakaki were evil OR both of them were, the reveal for Johannes is just so “yea its me” and the development for everyone bonding with Shio was super super quick. Not a bad thing but it just ramped up and ended very quickly.

The final boss the Arda Nova falls in the middle, I enjoyed the fight, taking on Johannes and stopping the Ark Project. The fight was far easier than the Hannibal or the Second Nova.

Honestly if I think on this more, some days i might swap these two arcs back and forth.

Regardless, I loved the entire game. I’m 27 hours into God Eater 2 right now, its very good!
