💙 - Calm (When do they feel most calm? Confident? What kind of pressures can they deal with? What kind of pressures can’t they deal with? What is their ideal day?)

Lily feels most calm when she’s with animals; she loves spending time with them, playing with and sharing in their excitement of things.

She’s most confident when she’s behind a computer; when she’s able to go through code or do research or that.

While Lily may not realise it, she can actually deal with a lot of different kinds of pressures. Work pressures don’t get to her that much because she knows how to be pragmatic about things like that – though, situations that scare her can knock that off balance.

Her ideal day would be spending time with her family in the park.

💜 - Compassion (Do they easily empathise with others? What is their relationship like with their parents? Does their sympathy easily turn to pity? Have they been met with much compassion through their life?)

Lily sometimes feels things a little too much; she can empathise well.

She gets on really well with her mother, seeing has a role model in a lot of ways. Lily loves spending time with her step-father as well, knowing that he can always find a way to bring a smile to her face. Her biological father? He keeps her at arm’s length most of the time, and that takes its toll on her; she tries to bridge the gap, but occasionally she questions why she even bothers.

Not really. Her sympathy only turns to pity if she can find no way of helping people.

She has been met with some compassion when she was younger, but most of it was in the wrong place to her mind: people felt the need to be compassionate towards her because she didn’t have a father in the picture for a while.

💛 - Friendship (Does your OC value friendship? To what extent? Describe their most important friendships and what they gain/give.)

Lily values friendship highly. She loves it when she has friends she can trust explicitly with both silly and serious things.

Her mother: However sappy it may sound, Lily sees her mum as a friend as well as her mum. She knows she can rely on her no matter what, and that she’ll be listened to. Lily always tries to do little things to show her love, be it making tea when it’s needed or getting her flowers.

Merlin: He’s like a mentor to her so she sometimes feels as though she gets a lot more from the friendship than she gives. However, Merlin is always grateful to have someone else in the office, someone to bounce off and to help. The fact she occasionally brings shortbread is her way of trying to give back.

During the story she becomes friends with Eggsy and Roxy. For her, she loves having a close female friend because at school she was mainly surrounded by boys. She loves that they can talk about frivolous things as well as far more pressing matters. With Eggsy, she’s glad to see that not everyone in the room was handed everything, some had to work for it. He’s a breath of fresh air that helps to keep her grounded and she loves that.
