I don't know why someone would translate it in a way where Shinichi seems to not really know Sonoko. Just above this panel, it's explicitly stated that Sonoko is also Shinichi's classmate and pretty heavily implied that he's very familiar with her. Also, Sonoko. I really don't see how a harem would be a dreamy romantic thing.. Ok, wait, hold up, this whole panel is just hot garbage (and a case of Korn Scans just grabbing the older translation without double checking a single thing), let me grab Viz instead.

(Translation's hard, I get it, the actual words are a translation made in the earlier Conan scanlations, but when there's a group that went well out of the way to make the scans look good, it'd be nice if someone could just glance at the raw and see if things match up. They had a translator on the team, it's not like they were purely focused on upgrading the graphics, they did redo some translations from older scans. But really, this goes from many boys to just one and with a specification that the nature setting will make a nice romantic moment, just a glance, it would have stood out.)

But for Sonoko's introduction... rip for what was decided as your personality, girl, because you're kinda stuck with the selfish boy crazy attitude for a while. I mean, it sticks around in some ways, but after actually getting a boyfriend, she can focus her attention and be allowed to just hang out more on her own without wanting attention from the best looking guy. Doubly sorry for the many people who probably did read this as you just wanting a lot of guys to hang out with instead of just looking for one good looking one.
