Pokemon AlteRed really said fuck you if you chose the fire type starter huh
#Like. The first gym is rock which already sucks if u choose fire#But like they have Pokemon you can grab#Like I got a steel Cyndaquil so I'm good right?#NOPE#Second Pokemon is fighting/rock#So I'm like oh. Guess I'll need a grass type!#Third pokemon is rock/fire!#There is no way to get a water type this early into the game#So your options are either fighting type or ground type#And I don't feel like backtracking all the way to the first area to get that Fighting Sentret so ground type it is!#Also the gym leader has 4 pokemon which is kinda stupid for a first gym X_X
