This has probably been said and I've never had an original thought in my life but William Wisp losing feeling in his fingers FIRST above all else is really important to me, actually.

SPOILERS FOR S2 EPISODE 15 AND UP=

The discoloration and loss of sensation in Wills hands begin at the place people use to feel most things. I can imagine having full feeling in your limbs as a hero is very important as to not lose them in battle. Ontop of probably being inconvenient to Will, it also kinda.. reflects his mindset on hero society a bit?

To Cantrip he says his hands are beginning to numb right before an arc where in a way looses touch with the world around him and his role as a Prime Defender. The greyscale arc, or as I like to call it the 'fuck you David Bell' arc lol. His views on the work they do and the people that surround them has been slowly deteriorating, just like his hands. Will litterally asks Cantrip about her views on things are run moments before she asks him "What are you?"

Then comes his: "I've been feeling less recently" Which I don't think specifically only refers to his hands but like.. they're talking about burns because of Jade's devices so yk.

The very person he tells this to however, later dies because of him as a result of him 'loosing touch' and his view of things washing into greyscale.
