Laura and Wade just out on the town bonding and having a great time. Laura wouldn't admit it under pain of death, but she had found him amusing from the start.

Wade was a lot like Gambit and the exact opposite of everyone else. He was almost magnetic and it seemed to work on all Wolverine's she discovered. Logan too was enamored more so then even her.

He was in love but he doesn't know that yet.

Laura wasn't immune to this pull and she could admit that. Wade seemed equally taken with her and she was charmed by that. He had immediately taken an almost parental role with her. She had noticed but never stopped it Wade for his part didn't seem to notice.

She had heard him talking about how he had always wanted kids and how he and Vanessa had been going to try for one before her death and subsequent revival. Laura embraced the near parental role with open arms because lord knows she didn't really have parents.

He was smarter then she would have assumed. He was always pointing things out or talking about something he found interesting and every time Laura was fascinated.

She had never met someone with such a wealth of knowledge that they gave away do freely. Logan knew a lot from his decades of experience but he was never forthcoming with it. He would only share if it was important or useful.

Wade however was contently sharing his knowledge and Laura would learn something every time she tuned into what he was saying. It fascinated her like nothing else because she never thought she'd learn so much from Wade.

She had learned that people underestimated him and thought he was stupid. She had found herself quickly getting offended on his behalf.

Wade however told her not to worry and that he was happy they thought he was dumb. Mainly because they would never see him coming with his fully plotted out plans.

She had learned so much about how to go about taking places down of dismantling organizations from him. He planned everything out to the final possible mishap.

She would sit down beside him while he planned out hits and have him explain every step. She had never before been so sure the people she had met before had nothing on this man.

It was a nice reminder that Wade was special forces and he was feared for good reason. Even if some people didn't put those prices together.
