Kung Fu Panda Legends of Awesomeness - "Serpent's Tooth"
Episode 60 overall

Synopsis:
A once hero renegade cobra with the powers of the Dragon gods: (Super Strength, Super Speed, Super Intelligence, Stamina, Durability, and a poison that brings out the greatest fears in the minds of its victims) named Fu-Xi loose in the valley causes the villagers to display a negative attitude towards snakes, causing Viper to consider joining him, although she later tricks him into revealing where his fear toxin is kept and almost defeats him. Viper and Po must stop Fu-Xi from transferring his toxic fear venom into the Valley of Peace's new water dam.
Characters:
Over two seasons but we finally have a Viper episode. It's nice to see some more about the snakes. What about other animals that do bad things? We've seen far more terrible behavior from water buffaloes, crocodiles, wolves, and snow leopards in the show and movies. Why is no one hostile against them?
So apparently Po was scared of Viper before he met her. What !?! He admired her just as much as every other master! He was her fan and spontaneously scared of her at the same time?
Did we really need that? Couldn't the whole village being afraid just be enough of a reason?
What about every other species which are designated villains like wolves, water buffaloes, crocodiles, and snow leopards?

In the original movie, Po points out how he doesn't have venom like Viper. But in ''Secrets of the Furious Five'' Po tells a story of how she was born without fangs and venom. However, later in the episode, he talks about how she has fangs, we can see them in animation and she bites Po and her venom works!!! Sike, she didn't actually bite him! It was only a paralyzing blow. But does that mean that Viper was just a late bloomer, her fangs grow out eventually and she just chooses not to bite?
Viper and Fu-Xi's relationship makes this episode. Even when she lies, Viper still sees old Lord Fu-Xi as a hero and wants him to be good. Fu-Xi sees Viper as a little sister, maybe more going by some of their interactions. Also, when he teaches her how to be scary, it was so cute. What I would give to see more of them!

One of the best episodes in the series! A must watch, especially if you’re a fun of Viper.
Villain: Fu-Xi is a great villain! My favorite from the entire show so far. He's got Lord Shen vibes. A sympathetic backstory doesn't take away from how evil he is and doesn't excuse his actions. But you can see where he's coming from. Everybody was treating him like a scary monster, so he decided to embrace this and use it against his enemies. When he finds out that Viper tricked him he sounds and looks genuinely hurt.

Maybe it's because of the translation, the voice actor, or both but Fu-Xi sounds like a jealous boyfriend.
‘’How could you choose two-legged and abandon me? And what do you see in the Panda?’’
Throughout the episode, he keeps calling Viper, a sister. When he thinks she bit Po he has a little slip of the tongue and calls her, a girl. Forgetting for a bit about proper manners and seeing Viper in a new light. It might be just my shipper goggles but for me, it looked like Fu-Xi started developing feelings for Viper.
He's one of the very few villains so far that didn't get put away in jail. I wonder what happened to him next. Viper hopes he can become good again.
But unfortunately it's his first and last appearance.
Fanfic writers, you know what to do. If you want to. I have no control over anybody. When I finish episode reviews, I might write one myself.

Some of the characters from Legends of Awesomeness are inspired by the Art of Kung Fu Panda book. The Legends of Awesomeness series is not as ground breaking as Penguins of Madagascar and Dragons, but still won 8 animation awards. Legends of Awesomeness is a safe children's version of the Kung Fu Panda franchise. Here is a collection of fight sequences from Legends of Awesomeness. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESkFyWdMTZs My Verdict on Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness:
Although i really enjoyed Legends of Awesomeness, i do feel that it is aimed at a younger audience.
I think the music and the Chinese settings are nicely put together and make the episodes easily watchable.
For me, Legends of Awesomeness remains amusing entertainment rather than something where the characters and story lines are highly developed.
