Both of these apps require some payment: "Korean Handwriting Plus" for learning how to write Hangeul (includes some vocabulary) & Infinite Korean (you need to pay to unlock the other topics) which forces you to learn about 200 Korean words in a game format. PS: (Got this tip from someone else here on Tumblr.) Once you learn Hangeul and basic words, go watch The Superman Returns. Most of the dialogues are between kids and parents so the vocabulary and grammar used are usually very basic.
Awesome, thank you so much for sharing!

The other day, I stumbled upon old files and docs of what fueled where am I today. It was a moment of mixed emotions, to say the least. I laughed at all my grammatical errors (its, it's) and cringed at the fact that I published those.
It brought me an overwhelming feeling of nostalgia.
Every word and every line resonated with me. I spent a good hour reading pages after pages of stories and poetry of my past. Fragments of my experiences were embedded in rhyming words and lengthy adjectives. Pieces of my stories were strung in lines and open-ended clauses. I wrote about happiness, anger, and regrets. Heartbreaks and sadness dominated most of my poetry, to be exact. I dedicated pieces to a lot of men (and women) who broke and built me. Of all the things I wrote, one thing is for certain: I fall in love too easy.
I decided to open my account once again, revisiting a big part of my passion and growth. To be fair, I can't exactly remember why I kept changing usernames after usernames. I started out as blackandwhitepanorama then became agapitopoblete, cuplablestrings, chroniclesofrue and so on and so forth. Man, I was going through a lot of phases. Haha. It's almost a miracle that someone would find me and remember me from my previous identities. Well, I changed my username again, so...
I combed through my messages and instantly regretted how I wasn't able to cultivate my relationship with all these amazing people. I'm still in touch with some of them (Hi, Ken!) but the rest, I haven't talked to in ages. I also regretted not being able to meet some of them in person when opportunities presented itself. Why was the younger me sooooooo snob and anti-social? Haha.
I also checked my follow list and was not surprised to see inactive and deactivated accounts of the writers I looked up to. I'm also glad to see some of them still writing their hearts out. Life happens, I guess. I would've deactivated too, years ago. Though I can't remember why I just left my account standing by. My last post was in 2014.
Maybe, just maybe, the younger me thought that a time will come that I will start writing again. Maybe, just maybe, the younger me thought that I'll have the same motivation that I had 5 years ago to nurture my passion.
Maybe, just maybe, it starts today.

You've probably read it already but my favorite book is The Little Prince. It's the book that got me hooked into reading. It is also chock-full of life lessons for children ages 1-99. I like re-reading it once in a while because it reminds me to never lose my inner child. PS: If you are looking for something to read, try reading The Piano Tuner by Daniel Mason :) Have a great day!
The Little Prince is amazing!! I’ll look into The Piano Tuner, thanks!! Have a great day as well :)
