Honestly, these two are a comical duo.

This is my second favorite dynamic. Ayato vs Noctis is by far the funniest to me.

Their relationship is basically Azusa trying to get Noctis to hurt him, but Noctis trying not to punch him no matter how hard he tries to make her mad or triggers her fight response by jumpscaring her.

Azusa is the only vampire Noctis doesn't fight because she generally doesn't want to give the vampires what they want (the look of fear, crying, begging for mercy, wincing in pain etc.). In Azusa's case, she refuses to give him pain, and this slowly torments him as he is romantically interested in her.

She found out about Azusa's masochistic side by accident in MB's prologue when she managed to fight Yuma and Ruki off when they pinned her (yeah, yeah vampires are strong, but to be fair, she kicked them in the balls). She threatened to do the same to Azusa, as he was blocking her path and well...

Noctis was VERY WEIRDED OUT by the way he moaned when she shoved him out of her way and begged for more as he hit the ground. She tried to get away from him afterwards but was stopped by Azusa on the ground, clinging to her leg, begging to be stepped on 😭😭

She declined, all flustered and confused. She just wanted to get out of here and was pretty much dragging him across the floor, trying to free herself. IT DOESN'T GET BETTER AS AZUSA MOANED AT THE WAY THE CONCRETE MADE HIS SKIN BURN AS HE WAS GETTING DRAGGED OFF 😭😭😭😭

Meanwhile, Kou laughed his ass off, witnessing the scenario before him and he ended up changing Noctis' nickname to S-Neko-Chan.

How diaboys will treat their plushie Yui headcanons:

Shu likes to use it as a pillow more than anything else. Because he feels that he is sleeping on Yui's soft body and feels very good and can relax.

The doll is designed to smell like Yui, so sometimes instead of using it as a pillow, he prefers to hug it and sleep like a baby.

The fabric used in the doll is very soft and always reminds Shu of Yui.

After seeing this doll in stores, Reiji went to the market with a long coat, sunglasses and a mask to buy it without anyone recognizing it.

After buying the doll, Reiji hides it in the darkest places of his room so that none of his brothers find the doll because he is sure to be teased by them.

Although the triplets always know about Reiji's secrets and like to tease him.

Ayato went to the store like Jet to buy the plushie.

Ayato sometimes thinks that Plushie and Yui are one and the same, and orders Plushie to make takoyaki for him.

Kanato fell in love with Yui's plush doll with just one look. He thinks Yui can be Teddy's best friend.

Kanato always hugs Yui's plush toy with Teddy and never takes it away from him.

He likes to sew cute clothes for Yui's plushie. Because Yui is always his doll.

Sometimes he has a tea party with Teddy and Plushie Yui.

Laito falls in love with Yui's plush doll and thinks she is very cute.

Laito likes to hug her and talk to her. And sometimes he likes to have bad fantasies about plushies.

Like Reiji, Subaru goes to the store in clothes to buy dolls so that no one recognizes him.

After seeing the doll, he goes to the store like Jet to buy it, and be sure if he can't get the Yui plushie, he will blow up the whole store.

Subaru keeps Yui's plushie in his coffin and sleeps with her all the time.

Plushie Yui smells exactly like Yui and makes Subaru feel good.

Sometimes he looks at Plushie and thinks how cute and beautiful she is and how he can tell his feelings to Yui and he blushes and screams looking at Plushie.

At first Ruki didn't want to buy the plushie, but he couldn't resist it. The plushie was very cute and smelled good and reminded him of his angel.

Ruki buys a plushie and keeps it with him all the time. He hugs Plushie when he is reading a book, thinking that Yui is in his arms and they are reading a book together.

He strokes Yui's plushie hair and kisses her and talks to her as if she were real.

When Kou saw Yui's doll, he screamed like a fangirl and quickly went to the store to buy a plushie. He saw that other boys also bought Yui's plushie and got angry and bought all the dolls in the store so that no other boy could buy it.

He treats Yui's plushie like a cat. He buys it cat clothes and even gives it food.

He constantly hugs and squeezes Yui's plushie and thinks it is the cutest plushie in the world. He wished he could squeeze real Yui just as hard.

Yuma buys the plushie just because it makes him feel good because he's not very fond of dolls.

He sometimes puts the plushie in his garden so that he can see it while working and feel good.

Azusa falls in love with Yui's plushie. He buys a plushie and never takes it off. He even hugs it at school, even though Ruki keeps reminding him that it's embarrassing, but Azusa doesn't care.

He always smells Yui's plushie to make him feel that his beloved Eve is by his side.

He constantly kisses Yui's plushie and sometimes feels like he is kissing and caressing Yui.

Carla places Yui's plushie in his large art collection as if it were a rare and valuable piece of art.

According to him, the wife of a founder should be treated like queens and this plushie doll should be treated like a big art sculpture. She is the beloved wife of a founder.

Shin loves to hug Yui's plushie and sleep.

Sometimes, when he gets too emotional, he turns into a wolf and goes around Yui's plushie and licks it. He never shows it in front of Carla, but he loves Yui's plushies.

Kino is not interested in plushie dolls but Yui is his princesse and a princesse needs a prince.

Kino sometimes hugs plushie Yui and plays with it. Sometimes he wishes Yui was as good at video games as Plushie Yui.

What none of the boys can deny is that sleeping with a plushie Yui is the best feeling in the world.

MUKAMI HOUSEHOLD HC’S

A/n: Long time no see!! Work and life got super crazy but I’ve been indulging in Diabolik Lovers again! Alongside that! For a few months I’ve been rewriting DL (more like my own au!!) just small tweaks and adding more realistic characterizations to characters I enjoy! So I decided to make a list of my headcanons for the Mukami household + Yui (she’s my beauty)

TW: slight mention and hint at abuse, mention of sexual abuse, mention of animal death

Take all of these at face value I’ve done my research to the best of my abilities and are basing this off of the things I’ve read, played, and watched! Plus my own little personal things!

- A quieter household. Each brother seems to have their own hobbies and tends to stick to themselves. This doesn’t mean they don’t enjoy each others company, they seem like the only group to like REALLY enjoy being around each other. Brother banter and all that nonsense.

- isn’t the safest but compared to the Sakamaki household Yui is in less danger. She actually spends more time pursuing schooling and smaller hobbies here without much backlash. Yuma and her garden often and Ruki helps her study. But of course this kinda stuff is paid back in blood so, you win some loose some

- Yuma will tease all 3 brothers for their height, I believe this may be canon? But it’s really Kou he has spats with over their heights. As an idol Kou is notoriously over dramatic and borderline narcissistic (and very full of himself) so he’s kinda pissy Yuma hangs his height over his head, but it’s all in good fun! (Usually)

-Yui and Ruki don’t really get along in the beginning. Which duh, but after a long period of time Yui began to get annoyed with being bossed around? I mean I would to, so he kinda grossed her out. Too much like an Ayato Reiji mix

- it’s mentioned either that in a CD or clip from more blood (the game) that Yui housed a kitten and was healing it back to health and Ruki killed it. This also kinda solidified their relationship into not being great. Yui believes very strongly in her morals and Ruki is one to oppose them. Meaning that in her eyes he’s cruel and in his she’s weak.

- Azusa is super interested in religions. Not like in them but he thinks the rules and regulations are kinda interesting to look into, he asks Yui a lot of questions about her faith and what it means to her.

- Yuma and Yui get along the best, the brothers were once human and I feel like don’t lack empathy to the extent pure bloods do. Course they will make comments that have Yui going “???” Because they are still entitled vampires

- The kinda group to have annoying ass orders at cafes. They don’t go out as a group much but when they get the chance they do. So when Yui joined she tagged along (of course they were like helicopter parents). Kou wants something sweet all the time so it’s either a milkshake/frappe nonsense, Ruki is the one who makes in super obvious he “just wants a black coffee. Black, no sugar or cream”, now Azusa’s order isn’t hard but he’s so quiet that it’s hard to catch it all so it’s usually made wrong on accident. Yuma sticks to the same thing but it’s a coffee with like 13 different steps that by the end it’s like a concoction of sugar, cream, flavoring, and coffee.

- Yui has an easy order, usually a tea. She avoids most coffee’s due to her sleep already being out of whack

- Yui has nightmares often due to the abuse she’s faced and she’s semi opened up to Azusa abt them in passing but tends to shut it down if pried.

- Ruki is stressed almost always. With the stress of being Adam kinda solely falling on his shoulders he doesn’t sleep often or even at all.

- this is supposedly canon but, Yuma likes bigger curvy girls in my mind :3

- Kou likes Kesha, Megan, and other female rap/pop artists. I also feel like Yui also dabbles with that kinda music but it isn’t her favorite

- Yuma’s the kinda brother that gives his brothers the faulty gaming controller :/

- Yuma and Kou smoke weed 100% idk I feel like they’d enjoy it, Ruki has a few times but usually just tells them off. Azusa has zero interest, Yui also has dabbled and she enjoyed it but getting high with like supernatural creatures can be… anxiety inducing?

- Ruki seems like one of those kids who’d have a super non trad kinda pet? Idk a snake or something. Not messy, loud, and chill

- Kou seems like the type to be sex repulsed often? He’s an idol and gets sexualized a lot in the limelight so bad correlation but even if he hates it he still does it to Yui

- Yui also is very sex repulsed

- yuma has a hard time coming to terms with his past with Shuu? It’s a weird grief thingy

- I feel like sometimes, only sometimes, they miss being human. I believe it’s semi mentioned already. But I feel like when Yui started living with them they started noticing that feeling more in an angry/sad way.

The nights were particularly long in the Demon World, and it wasn’t uncommon to waste an entire human day if you didn’t consciously check your watch every once in a while. When I noticed that my vision was starting to become blurry, I finally decided to lay down on the sofa.

“Ah… I’m no good at this after all.”

I sighed heavily. The strength drained from my arms as I did, sending the papers scattering to the floor.

I had wanted to take a look at the papers Karl Heinz had bequeathed to Eden’s medical school. My hopes were high when I started, but I hadn’t been prepared for such a large volume of papers with such complicated contents. My spirits had fallen right away.

What was Karl Heinz thinking when he ended his life? I thought I would be able to understand him better if I did some research, but…

“Ugh… I’m done. Time for a break!”

I stood up, out of my mind, and quickly headed for the door.

Come to think of it, I hadn’t seen her for a while. She had been so kind to give me space, but I wanted to see her face right away. I wanted to be spoiled by her.

My feelings came bubbling to the surface one after the other. With great force, I yanked open the door, and there was–

“...Huh? Kitten!?”

“I-I’m sorry for bothering you.”

For some reason, my lovely girlfriend was standing right there in front of the door. Was this a coincidence? No, fate? I hesitated to ask her about it since I could not quite make sense of it myself, but she beat me to it.

“Um… I thought you might need a break, so I brought you tea,” she ventured, holding a tray in her hands with a tea set on it.

“Really? Thank you! Come in, come in!” I was elated at her thoughtfulness. She had gone through all that trouble to bring me tea! I took the tray from her with one hand and motioned for her to sit with my free hand. 

I loved seeing her so flustered, face red all the way to her ears, when we sat down on the sofa together.

“Mm… It’s delicious!” I praised her while I drank all of it. The tea she prepared was the best-tasting tea in the world. 

I stared at the bottom of the empty cup for a moment, lost in thought. How had she already warmed my heart so much when I had been sighing non-stop only minutes ago? 

“Kou… are you okay?” Worried about my sudden silence, she eyed me with slightly glassy eyes. 

“Huh? I’m fine, but…”

“I’m glad. I was wondering if you weren’t pushing yourself too hard… I was worried about you.”

Oh, how she always saw through me right away. I grimaced internally, but at the same time, I was glad that she did.

She’s adorable. I like her. I love her. My heart overflowed with my feelings for her. Still, confessing all of this to her was quite embarrassing, so I beat around the bush.

“Ah, you’re right, I think I might be tired after all. So…”

Smiling mischievously, I enthusiastically lowered my head onto her soft thighs.

“Will you let me lay on your lap like this, Kitten?” I winked at her mischievously as I asked her. 

She giggled at first, but when she saw me pout, she apologised and gently stroked my hair. It felt like time stood still when her cheeks reddened. 

I was ridiculously happy, I thought, and then the two pictures on my desk caught my eye.

The first picture was of me, my brothers, and Karl Heinz. The second one depicted us four brothers and her. 

Both pictures featured us all smiling. Even if we were not connected by blood, and even if we didn’t know every little thing about one another…we lived a surprisingly mundane, happy life together. That’s all I ever wanted in a family.

When I turned to face her, I pulled her in close and kissed her on the lips.

“Hey… Let’s be together as a family forever, okay?”

• Because of his ‘all seeing eye’ or ‘truth seeing eye,’ he can pinpoint exactly what his S/O is feeling and if it’s true.

• He’s normally someone who’s seen to joke around with others and find fun in things.

• Kind of like Laito with the double personalities, and attitudes surrounding certain aspects of their lives.

• But even with that, he may do more to gain a reaction.

• He has split feelings about being human, or an ex-human— so as a half-blood, I’ll take it that he’s adapted to the way vampires or pure bloods would think.

• He may at the start of the relationship, assume that somethings wrong with his S/O— or that they’re mad at him.

• But once he gets acquainted— with that being his S/O’s natural nuanced reaction to things, he may do more and get out of his own comfort zone to see if anything would phase them.

• Since he believes in the entire ‘give and take’ analogy— he may be annoyed that it takes a lot of him ‘giving’ something (ex: putting in energy) to get something in return for him to ‘take’ (a reaction.)

• But overall I don’t see him complaining too much, only if he’s in one of his fussy moods.

~Bokuto is excited for you to come to his Halloween volleyball practice so he can show off the costume you gave him.

There’s something about the fall that makes your little kitchen coffee corner feel just a bit cozier. Oh, right. Today is the MSBY Jackals’ annual Halloween practice. It’s just like any other practice, but the players get to wear some costumes as they play. Judging by your lovable boyfriend’s costume, he has forgotten that he actually needs to be able to play in his costume.

“Are you going as a ghost?” You ask, gently pulling up the sheet to reveal his thick gray eyebrows, pinkish cheeks, and ruffled two-toned hair. It must be pretty hot under there.

I thought of it the other day when one of the trainers said that my spikes were scary.” His golden gaze drifts to the glowing green numbers on the stovetop. “Shoot, Practice starts in an hour and I don’t have another costume. You place a comforting hand on his bicep and give him a reassuring smile. “We still have time to think of something for you, what did you wear last year? I don’t remember you telling me.”

“But not embarrassing enough to not wear it to the gym surrounded by at least twenty people?”

You furrow your brow in thought, 

“Wait, come with me; I think I have an idea.” You smile, grabbing his hand and pulling him down the hallway eagerly. The still pristine bedsheet flows behind the two of you. 

In the back of your closet lies a clear plastic tub filled with old costumes and pieces from years past. You dig through the animal masks and wizard robes until you find what you are looking for. Your old Skeleton costume consists of an oversized black t-shirt and a pair of leggings; a realistic skeletal system print covers the entire thing. 

“Would these work?” you ask, holding up the pieces for him to take. The costume was baggy on you, but the stretchy material means that it most likely could fit your much taller, much more beefy boyfriend. 

His eyes light up when he sees the costume, and nods eagerly. “This will be great. I can actually play in these. He picks you up easily and spins you around the cramped closet space. “You’re so amazing Y/n. Where would I be without you?”

“Good luck,” you smile, leaning in on your tiptoes to give him a kiss. 

He is so happy he practically skips into the gym, pushing open the doors and waving to you one more time before he goes to work.

Now alone, you turn away from the sound of squeaking shoes and spikes to walk up the steps to the upper bleachers, where certain spectators are allowed to watch without distracting the players.

You are now looking over the whole court and see the dozens of players scattered around as practice begins. Costume-wise, it looks like the majority of the players are wearing masks of some sort, making it hard to tell who is who. But eventually, you do see familiar faces.

The blond head of Atsumu Miya grabs your attention as he takes his place by the net, a long, flowing red and black vampire cape tied behind his neck. And judging by how muffled his on-the-court communication is, he must be wearing some of those cheap vampire fangs as well.

Shoyo Hinata Is wearing all black with a large pair of black feathered wings tethered to his back with little elastic strings. They flap clumsily as they fail to keep up with the redhead’s speed as he runs about the court with boundless energy. 

The Third Person you are able to make out is Sakusa Kiyoomi, a true master of disguise. He is wearing his normal practice clothes and really looks like he’d rather be anywhere else. The only thing out of place on his clean frame is the hastily stuck red and white name tag that sits crookedly on his chest.

With those great options to compete with, you can safely say that Bokuto’s costume is by far the best. You watch as the team tries to play. Atsumu keeps tripping over his cape when he jumps, and Little feathers from Hinata’s wings keep littering the court as he bounds around, and the other players keep having to take off their rubber monster masks to breathe and truly look miserable. It keeps you thoroughly entertained throughout the training session. 

In between sets in their practice scrimmage, Bokuto and a few others end up by your bench, and you’re able to hear a little bit of your boyfriend’s not-so-quiet conversation.

“Omi, do you like my faceeee?” He gushes, pointing to his slightly sweaty face paint. “Y/n did it this morning; Arent they sooooo amazing.”

Yes, Aoi and Akane’s relationship started out somewhat unhealthy because he was putting her on a pedestal and she kept him at a distance. I’ve seen people debate on how long the TBHK story has been happening, and when certain events should’ve happened, so I’ve decided to make my own (unofficial) TBHK timeline!!!

This is gonna be a timeline of the main story, so things that happened before Nene entered the picture wont be included (for now at least!) Let me know if I made any mistakes or if there’s any additional information that I didn’t include in this post, I simply re-read the whole manga for maybe like the 15th time?? and tried to gather any and all hints from dialogue and backgrounds/calendars.

I don’t have an exact date to when the main story began, but it must’ve been late spring or so, due to the warm weather. Nene talked about how she picked up “feminine” hobbies such as gardening, sewing and cooking after the guy she started liking in middle school said he’s into feminine girls. She seemingly confessed to him right after starting her 1st year in high school as she said it took her 3 years to master these newfound hobbies and confess her love. Nene stated that it’d happened a month ago so it’s probably May. typically in Japan the new school year starts around April 5th, and as Nene confessed right at the beginning of the new year she met Hanako around ~May 5th if it was exactly one month ago when she got rejected.

In their next appearance, Nene said it had been a week since the two met. So it should be around ~May 12th if I’m correct.

Within the next month, Nene gets to Meet characters like Kou, Tsuchigomori, Yako and the broadcasting club, and also gets to see Hanakos more vulnerable side for the first time!

It should be early June by now, the fact that we see Sousuke taking pictures of Morning glories, which bloom between early Summer and Fall, solidifies this for me.

After chapters 18-20, it gets a little blurry though. No specific dates are really mentioned, and Nene stops commenting on how longs it’s been since she met Hanako, so the best I can do is make hardcore guesses in between the next time we get a confirmed date, July 7th when Hanako took Nene and Kou to the Tanabata Star festival.

Between these chapters, we got a proper introduction to the broadcasting club, got to meet the clock keepers + learn about Nenes lifespan, and witness Mitsuba take on the role of a school mystery number 3.

Nene mentioned it’d been three days since she encountered Mitsuba in the hell of mirrors, and invited Kou to the summer festival the next day. Hanako decided to take them to the Tanabata star festival instead, (Insert image I couldn’t fit in) July 7th which I’m assuming would’ve been the very next day, in which case the Hell of mirrors arc took place at around July 2nd. That’d still leave a whole month between For the clock keepers and tea party arc, (insert ANOTHER image I couldn’t fit in) so I can’t exactly pin down any specific dates or even weeks..

It gets even messier after picture perfect! Mitsuba’s welcoming party likely happened around a week after being taken in by the broadcasting club, so it’s early to mid July at this point.

Interestingly enough, it seemed time moved slower in the painting Nene and Kou were stuck in, as all of a sudden Finals came up! From what I’ve understood, finals usually come at the middle or end of July, lasting 3 days.

I’m gonna be going off the average Japanese schools standards when it comes to dates, since we don’t know much about Kamone academy. So if we’re going off by the average estimate, The school sleepover should’ve happened at the beginning of August.

Being just around Obon.

Weirdly enough, despite Nene and Hanako spending a night with Sumire, by the time the severance happened barely any time had passed in the real world. (Insert another damn imagine I wasn’t able to squeeze in.)

Teru takes Nene and Akane on a little outing after summer vacation properly began, calling it his first real day off in a while. So this could’ve been very well been a day or two right after the severance.

The day after, Nene and Kou meet Sousukes mother, who’s visiting her sons grave for Obon, which should’ve been celebrated between August 13-16th, as the main story for TBHK is set in 2015.

I’m guessing the entirety of the severance/rescue arc happens during Obon, as it’d make sense why Aoi was able to be saved despite having “died” according to Hanako, and why the supernaturals were able to return to the near shore so quickly, as the near and far shores were so blurred.

The second trimester begins at the start of September, so there were still about 2 weeks in between the Fireworks party-Night life chapters before school started again!

This is the present, with the preparations for the festival beginning immediately and the event lasting 2 days, we should be in the first week of September at the moment, both in the old and new timeline.

So some key points are;

• It’s been ~5 Months since Nene met Hanako.

• Nene has MAX 7 Months left to live, probably closer to 1-4.

• Mitsuba is ~3 months old!

• maybe we get to see everyone in winter uniforms!! that’d be cute. Not really important I just thought that sounded fun.

Aaannd that’s a wrap for now.
