This show has built me up, broken me down, torn my pieces into shreds, dragged my sanity across the floor but I have loved every single moment.

I have a few things to say and pardon my rambling but i hope it makes sense.

First, what I truly admire about Ae Sun & Gwan Sik’s love is that they truly see and get each other. Usually, people say stuff like ‘you’ll love your kids more when you have them’ but with these two, you can clearly see how they choose each other. They still think their childhood dreams are valid and don’t judge each other for their mistakes. They understand this is their first time at life, and really hold space for each other. Obviously, they love their kids, but it’s evident what they have is stronger.

Second, I’m not interested in being a mother and with all the emotional turmoil, I truly don’t want this for my life. Let’s just say I don’t have the emotional bandwidth nor maturity for it. Ae Sun was a child when she had her first child and she’s been learning and unlearning ever since. It really does take a village and once again Gwan Sik alone is 3 people.

Sang-gil truly, and I wish I could hold my own hand when I type this, but, this man hasn’t gotten over Ae Sun. Like he’s obviously lonely now that he’s divorced & shit. But the root issue is fumbling Ae Sun and I don’t wish this type of short sightedness on anyone.

I’m glad to see he finally did something decent, despite the crooked method.

I also just want to throw in that when Picasso said ‘I choose my wife’ and ‘there won’t be a second’. I felt that
